We loved the atmosphere at Rolling Hills from the moment we walked.. The entire staff is extremely respectful and compassionate. They know every resident and consistently address them by name. The entire facility is immaculate and very well maintained. The activities and amenities are numerous and all included.

They are great! In looking at multiple different places, and they are all expensive, I feel like for what we get for our parents, the value is there. I think they have a good variety of activities. When I first got there I was a little concerned about the fire risk, but they have a good fire plan. We ate there once, and I think it's good food. It's always served very nice, and the presentation looks good. Their location was really ideal for us.

Loved it , but worried about the 3 meals a day and the price for living there. Not sure if ready to have so much done for her.

My parents were victims of a Home invasion robbery last December, my sister and I found that my parents were having difficulties living in the home that they owned for 46 years, so I started to locate a senior independant living facility, I toured a couple of places, but I found that the staff, and the price at the Golden Oaks facility was what we were looking for. the staff was very knowledgeable on the facility and any question that I had they had answers. My Parents moved in the last day of february 2014, and are enjoying the meals, the activities,and getting to know new friends,

We only used Greenwood Terrace briefly for a weeklong respite stay, but we were very impressed by what they provided and we intend to use them again! My loved one really enjoyed herself here. She loved the food, and all of the activities they had going on. She was busy all day long!

We're glad we chose this place, my loved one is really enjoying herself here! I'd give them 5s across the board. They're great about keeping the residents active here, they've got an announcement system to let people know when meals and activities are going on, which has really helped my loved one develop a routine that she enjoys.

My father lives there. I’ve gone to visit many times. They have activities every day. It’s an excellent place for independent living! I can highly recommend Golden Oaks. It’s probably the best community and I’ve toured quite a few. When you first pull up it’s just such a very welcoming community. Steve, the manager, was extraordinarily pleasant. It’s just a comfortable and nice place and the location is amazing. It’s in a very clean and nice area of Yucaipa.

Mom has not moved in as yet, will be next week, so what we have lived in it yet. Our only disappointment was she did not get the room layout we first wanted, but hope to transfer to it soon. This is the only place who first asked questions about my mother vs just telling me about the place.

I can't say enough good things about them! They're just really high quality overall, the staff, the facility, and even the food. It's an ideal option for those who still want some independence, but don't want to worry about meals, cooking, etc. It's a very welcoming place, family members are free to visit any time they'd like, and they'll often have free (or very reasonably priced) meals for residents and their families. It's just a terrific value overall!

They won us over from the minute we walked in the door. They did an amazing job with the initial tour, they made all the information about the room styles, rates, etc, very clear and easy to understand. They also had plenty of additional information and pamphlets available. The man who gave us our tour, Vaughn, was great. He was so friendly, and so patient, and really helped us out when we were feeling overwhelmed. Our loved one is really enjoying himself here, the staff are all friendly and the facility itself is beautiful. We also really like the Holiday travel system, knowing that he'll be able to schedule time at another Holiday facility near us to come visit!

I just love this place. They don't provide care but there is a choice of a few different care services. Scott the manager has done so much to make our loved one comfortable. The food is good. I can see there is a change in our loved one, they make him feel good. There are a lot of other men there too, and couples. What's really nice about it is that if he were well enough, and we wanted to travel, we could stay at other Holiday communities. I really liked that! They seem like a family unit, the managers live on site, and everybody just loves them. They have a laundromat that you can use free. They have housekeeping once a week too. The podiatrist even came in and took care of my loved one. We are just so happy.

Everything is perfect! We are very happy with them. The food is delicious. I don't really have any concerns or issues. They are clean and friendly. No complaints here.

Very lovely place but I am not sure my Mom would feel safe. She probably needs more tending that would be available. I do want her to see it before ruling it out as an option.

Cedar Ridge is exactly what we were looking for in an independent retirement community for my father-in-law. Beautiful facility, kind staff, amazing amenities. Would definitely recommend Cedar Ridge.

It's very clean. The staff is pretty friendly. She's pretty happy there. It's the worst food she's ever had though. It would be nice if they could knock on the door or if they had a reminder, an anouncement a few minutes before, of when activities are starting. The laundry room can only be used at certain times because the maids use it to clean the sheets and they have the prime time of day from like 8-3. The laundryroom was not included in the tour.

For everything that we have asked for, they have been quick to respond and resolve. This is independent living, so there really aren't any care services. It would be nice if they had in-house medication reminders, though. Also, there is only one elevator. So, in a community where there are 100 residents, that can be a little difficult. The only issues have been more with the parent company. There haven't been any issues with Birch Heights themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My sister was lonely and needed some help with general stuff. She is really happy here and we are so glad we found it.

We toured this and it was newer and was excellent. They had a gormet chef and activities. We chose a different Holiday community, that is just as nice. This was a little more expensive, but their apartments are a little bigger.

I think it's really great. I feel like the food is good except they serve too many carbs, potatoes, biscuits, and pasta. They need to serve more protein, they don't serve enough chicken and fish. The staff through the week is excellent but on the weekend, some don't show up for work, they are training them properly. They are working to remedy this now.
