My mom who is 90 was living by herself until she fell in October. We immediately started looking at Assisted Living Facilities. I was very impressed with Columbia Cottage. The staff helped in every aspect of her getting into Columbia Cottage. She has been living at the cottage since November. It was a hard transition for her but it was made easier by the caring staff of the Cottage. They have helped her to make it her home. It means so much to me because I see that she is loved. This is not just for my mom but I see them react to all residents the same way. I feel confident that my mom is taken care of every day.

My grandmother moved to Columbia Cottage a few months ago. I have been amazed by the wonderful, caring staff that go above and beyond to care for my grandmother. My grandmother loves the painting classes and activities. Keep up the great work!

We are relatively new to the community at the Cottage, but our experience has been very positive. I feel good about my Mom being in the care of the staff there while that I have to be at work. I think the atmosphere is excellent, unlike other places that I have visited elderly people. I feel very comfortable when I go to visit my Mom there. It is a place I would be comfortable in myself if I were in her situation. I highly recommend it.

Our experience at Columbia Cottage has been excellent. Staff are freindly and helpful and will bend over backwards to try and accomodate residents needs. Very caring and get to know residents individually. Highly recommend!

We searched many places in Morgan county for the Right place for my mom to live. She visited all of them with us and we were blown away with the Country Cottage. The staff is great and the facilities are in very good condition. As with anything, the staff makes all the difference. Yes, there have been shortages of staff but I must say the management can be found working the floors, cleaning the rooms, cooking meals or whatever needs to be done to make sure the residents are well taken care of. As my mom says, “they cook me 3 meals a day, wash my clothes, clean my room and give me my medicine. What else could I want? This is my dream house!” Overall they have really made it easy for our family as we are in this season of our lives. Most important is our mom is treated with dignity and respect in all interactions and has friends to do activities and exercise with everyday…. She and we LOVE the Country Cottage!

They are super friendly and helpful. Anytime there is a question or concern with my friend they call me right away. They stay in really good communication with me on what is going on with him and we made all the adjustments together that we needed to. I would definitely recommend Country Cottage.

I was very happy with my tour experience at Country Cottage - Montgomery. The facility was great and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Country Cottage is the BEST!!!! I couldn't have made a better decision. Country Cottage was the place for my Mom.

This facility is wonderful. It's the best decision I could have made for my mother. She's very well taken care of here. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family.

I feel very relieved leaving my mom there and I feel that she's safe and watched over. When she lived at her own house, I felt very nervous because she was by herself. I feel like they are taking good care of her.

My mother spent the last several years of her life at the Cottage. Soon after she moved in it became home to her and the people there became family. There simply aren't enough words to describe how much of a blessing the Cottage was to my mother and our entire family! My mother moved to Columbia Cottage 3 years age. She has been very well cared for.

My mother was a resident of Columbia Cottage in Florence, Alabama for about eight years. She moved in when she was [age removed]and stayed until she died at the age of [age removed]. During that time her required level of care when from zero to extremely high. No matter her needs, the staff at Columbia Cottage were always very attentive, compassionate and loving as they were giving her professional care'. The staff at the Cottage worked hard to create an atmosphere of home. We were always so comfortable and reassured that mother was in a wonderful place. They all called her Momma and, just as you should, they took very good care of her!

A sweet member of my church family moved to Country Cottage in Russellville. I can't say enough positive things about this community. The staff are always available to help her. She said she didn't know what she would do without her "girls" at the Cottage. I pop in to check on her all the time. They have great activities and the food is absolutely fantastic. Their cook should open a restaurant. We are so thankful for these sweet ladies who work here and take excellent care of my friend. I would recommend 10 out of 10!

Momma has made many friends among the staff and other residences. She goes to activities and is well cared for by the staff.

Country Cottages is a wonderful home for Mom. She is in a friendly and loving atmosphere. They take good care of Mom and check in with me often with updates and any questions. It has the right balance of independent living with assistance as needed.

Once our mother got adjusted from her move to Columbia Cottage in Hartselle, she has been very happy and content. She now refers to it as "home" any time we take her for an outing and is always ready to get back. The staff is friendly and caring and she has nothing but good things to say about them when asked if she likes it there. I would definitely recommend Columbia Cottage to anyone looking for a home for their family member.

I could not think of a better place for a loved one to be than the Columbia Cottage. My grandmother was a resident there, and they truly made her feel at home. All of the workers are precious, and they all genuinely care about the well-being of their residents. I would definitely recommend!!

It is always a hard decision to make when your mom can’t stay at home by herself any longer. Columbia Cottage was an answered prayer. The first day I walked in I knew that mom would be happy there. She made lots of great friends & enjoyed the activities, little outings & special occasions. They took good care of her & we were thankful for that. When her health started declining they were so good to our family. We will always love & appreciate the staff at Columbia Cottage.
