I think they do a great job at Columbia Cottage! It's a nice looking place, and the staff is very friendly and professional. I really appreciate how on top of things they are in regards to communication, they'll let you know as soon as any issues come up. It took a bit for my loved one to get settled in, but she seems to have settled in well!

Burdett at The Blake was very welcoming and gave me a very thorough tour of the facilities. The offer quite a few extras (even to memory care) that surprised me. They had a plan that fit perfect with our needs and we are moving in with very short notice. They are very accommodating. I believe my mother will be at home here at The Blake.

I was really pleased with Country Cottage. My wife fell and broke her hip though and is no longer there. It was not their fault, it was just one of those things that happens. We were quite happy there. I think the staff were really caring and always there.

The personnel and support staff have been very helpful in this new adventure! It is difficult to watch our elders need assistance while wanting to remain as independent as possible. The administrative staff at The Blake have been as much support to my husband and me as much as making the transition for our elders as smooth as possible.

The Columbia Cottage is a nice place for mom. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. The Columbia Cottage is a nice community. It is very clean. The staff is wonderful. I would recommend this place if you are searching for assisted living.

I was very impressed with this facility. The staff is super friendly and very knowlegable. The layout of the facility is thoughtful and its cleanliness is impressive. The ratio of staff to resident was reassuring as well.

The way it was designed is great for someone like my moms age. She would need the security. I feel secure for her to be there, people cant go in without a keycard or a code and that makes it's secure in my book. The residents have a card but the family get a code . Just not anyone can get in, that makes me feel secure. Also why I chose the facility. They keep it exceptionally clean in and outside , very tidy.

PATIENCE IS CLEARLY SHOWN BY STAFF MEMBERS WHEN ASSISTANCE IS REQUIRED BY A RESIDENT THAT HAS LIMITED CAPABILITY TO COMPLETE A TASK. ALL MUST BE THANKFUL THAT THE BLAKE STAFF TRANSPORTS RESIDENTS IN A TIMELY MANNER TO KEEP DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS, AS WELL AS TAKING RESIDENTS OUT TO DINE FOR NOON MEALS AT VARIOUS RESTAURANTS DURING EACH MONTH. THERE HAS BEEN A STEADY IMPROVEMENT IN THE QUALITY OF FOOD PROVIDED FOR EACH MEAL 3 TIMES EACH DAY; THE IMPROVEMENT IS PARTICULARLY REALIZED DURING WEEK ENDS. THE ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY THE PA'S IS OUTSTANDING, THEY SATISFY RAPID RESPONSES WHEN CALLED UPON AND THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS BEYOND REPROACH. WHEN A PERSON OR FAMILY IS IN NEED OF ASSISTANT LIVING THE BLAKE AT MALBIS IS UNQUESTIONABLY THE BEST THAT CAN BE FOUND TO SATISFY THEIR NEEDS.

My siblings and I are grateful for the love and concern that all of the staff have shown our Mom since she moved to the Cottage 6 months ago. This is a smaller facility, so it gives the feeling of a small town community where both staff and residents have the opportunity to get to know and see each other on a daily basis. The staff truly cares about each and every resident, and understands their particular individual needs. The warm decor throughout the building creates an atmosphere of being home and welcoming. The living room with the fireplace and bookshelves is quite homey, and the linens and decorations on the dining room tables every day are just one more special touch to create a home-like setting. Whenever there is a major holiday, Leslie and the staff go all out to make it a fun, big, party! Lots of pictures are taken at these events. There is an exercise class every morning between breakfast and lunch, then at 2PM, Bingo, Wii, or an Arts and Crafts activity is offered. There is a social hour in the late afternoon, an hour before dinner. The caregivers, called Homemakers, check in on the residents throughout the day, talk with them, make them laugh, or give a word of encouragement, always making sure each resident feels like they belong and have purpose. I live out of town, so I enjoy having the daily peace of mind knowing Mom is in good hands! It is a blessing Mom can call Columbia Cottage, home!

Very Nice. Roomy, lots of amenities. I looked at assisted living also. Very caring. Met w/ resident/staff. I am a healthcare worker and I was impressed.

My aunt moved into Country Cottage last year and it has saved her life. The staff and atmosphere at Country Cottage are terrific. I would highly recommend you consider this wonderful facility for the care of your loved one.

The Blake at Malbis facility is wonderful!. The staff is good to the resident's. The facility is clean, and the rooms are spacious. They take the residents on an outing twice a month, in fact, yesterday they took them to the State Park for a picnic. The food is really good and if you don't want their meal of the day, you can choose something else from the menu. I'm totally satisfied with their services overall.

The staff are all very caring and professional, and they are very good about staying in touch and keeping you up to date on how your loved one is doing. They also do a good job providing activities to keep everyone entertained, even for their memory care residents.

It's going pretty good. It's pretty clean. The staff is all friendly. They complain about the food a lot, but I have never tried it myself. They have all different activities. It works out pretty well, and I liked the location.

Toured two weeks ago. It would meet our needs. Acceptable.also toured Madison retirement village and brook dale place. Found these 2 acceptable. Will be touring harbor chase on may5. The one that doesn't meet our unique is gardens of Madison. Thanks for your input and concern. You're great!

Overall we are very pleased with the service here! They do a great job of welcoming new residents to the community, getting them introduced to everyone, and helping them settle in. The caregivers are all very friendly and attentive. The one thing I think they could improve is just having more activities in general, they do have them but they could stand to be more frequent.

Like this place very much. It is a small community with a very caring staff. It appears to be a well run, clean, comfortable place.

I don't really have any complaints. They were very sweet and very kind. They loved her, she loved it there. The food was ok, I would give it maybe a three. They had snacks and everything she ever needed there. It was smaller than another one we looked at, with only 16 beds, they had a homey feel, with a small living area. The ladies were looking out for eachother there. I would definitely reccommend it here. There were only women there, which made us more comfortable.
