This is a home. The staff are awesome. They work not just for an income, but also out of love. For example when I first moved in the maintenance man was very busy helping update their internet. The director and activity director came in on a Saturday off the clock to hang pictures on my walls. It is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for and meet any needs you have. When we as residents wanted something changed on the menu they became aware, the next day the menu changed. I am very happy here.

We have been very pleased with this facility. Staff has been great, the food very good, medication monitoring, and consistently good care from the entire staff for our loved one. We would like to see the TV service updated and more user friendly for elderly. Overall we are extremely pleased with this facility. They have made the transition to assisted living for our loved one a very positive. Our plans are to continue our loved one living at this facility as long as possible .

Short staffing prevents some tasks. Mom doesn't particularly enjoy the food. Most staff are very nice & patient with Mom, but some are noticeably and known by all to be rude to residents, yet they are still there. There have been several medication slip ups and confusion. Would like to see some outings. Overall we like it for Mom, and she's gained so much independence. It's small & just the right size facility for her.

The day shift staff is good, but there is not much attention with night shift. There is also not much daily activity. However, what we like the most about Seabrook Pointe is that it is a secure facility, and day shift seems more attentive. A little more daily activity with residents...less parked in front of tv. Overall, we would recommend this community to other families.

To be honest, the staff was friendly when I was there but they do not look in on dementia/alzheimer residents like they should. If someone wants to put a loved one there for that I do not recommend them.

The only issue I have with this place is that I live out of state and contacting them when I need to speak with someone can be challenging.

My dad is at Magnolia Manor and doing well! I would rate a 4 on everything except #5.Administrative staff. For that one, I would rate a 3. They are friendly but some times it's hard to get a hold of someone or they're slow to respond. That's been a little difficult since my sister and I live in a different state. The staff and other residents are friendly and welcoming. From what I've seen of the food, it's better than what is often found in facilities.

I understand how hard it is to find quality staff. However, there has been a lot of complaints about one of the nurses at this facility. (Not [name removed], which no longer works there) I personally experienced it myself on a Friday evening at 6pm. I was called and told my family member was out of medication that he takes everyday. This is a very long drawn out story but I was 4 hours away at the time and practically had a meltdown over the phone with her. My expectations of every single issue that comes along isn't at the very top however, had I known this before 6pm in a Friday it would not have happened this way. My sister and I are happy with Magnolia Manor. Our dad is safe, clean clothes, clean sheets, 3 meals a day, happy neighbors, he loves being there. I do have a problem with who is planning the medicine dispensing. I'm not trying to say micromanage everything. I'm just wanting better skilled healthcare providers (mainly nursing staff) with a pleasant attitude and good communication skills!

The staff at The Commons are very friendly and professional. There is not an option for free housekeeping, the tenants pay for that. The staff always communicates with the family. The move-in process was simple. For the meals, the staff and tenants both cook the meals, every lunch and every Friday. I would recommend the facility to other people. The location of the building is convenient to everything in Huntsville.

The layout of the rooms was wonderful and spacious. There was a wonderful courtyard with rockers. Many employers were wonderful, but several were meh. Food was not impressive. Many times I visited and they were serving frozen food that had been put in the oven

It is a small intimate setting with a sweet staff. My relative has not been real happy with the food or activities, but she likes the caring nature of the staff. They have been responsive to my needs as well. It is a good price compared to many other assisted-living facilities in the area.

Recommend if not needed for memory care. Need to assist the residents more at night.

I did want mom closer. But this facility was nicer and cleaner than the ones close to home. And we have family in Corinth so they can visit more often as well. We also have her sister staying there and is a blessing to them both. Having a nurse practitioner that visits weekly is a huge asset that eliminates the need to go to multiple outside doctors.

Seabrook missing a great opportunity to make residents more active. The Spanish Fort Community Center is 12 minutes away and we COULD be involved at least a couple times a week where a plethora of activities await residents.

She is in a better place than alone at home - it was close proximity to my house. My mother has improved since she has been there. She has met friends there and I think she will only get better.

Mom seems pretty happy there but is sad with some turnover with staff that have left. I would like to see an exercise program there for the seniors to help with stretching and low impact movements to prevent stiffness and help with mobility. I feel for the price there should be more activities for the residents to motivate more involvement with peers.

I would recommend it. The other residents are friendly, the staff is caring, the food is good and I'm confident my dad is receiving good care. He is happy there as well. We picked this community for its location, the staff and overall feel of the community.

Based on the experience I have had so far, the staff members working there are very helpful and surrounding. However they have some areas they could improve on so on the moment, I would maybe recommend this community to other families.
