The Executive Director, [removed name], LPN could not have been more helpful and attentive in every way possible to all our needs. The RA's were helpful, but took a little bit of time sometimes to get to the rooms to help. I believe this may have been due to being shorthanded alot of times. The room was adequate in size. The cleaning of the rooms could have been a little bit more thorough. They usually had several activities available for the residents. Definitely a friendly environment and made it feel like home. The food was usually pretty good. My Mom was happy there. She passed away this past August. She lived there until she passed.

The staff showed caring, loving attention to each resident at the facility! It would be a trusted location to place those in need of 24/7 care! Creative variety of flatly activities/offerings - excellent meals!

No place is perfect, nor is there a perfect being on this earth. Visitation is very important and feedback is most important when you are not satisfied with something that you notice. Again, Visitation is vital, even if your love ones dont recognize you. Their well being is what's most important.

I would recommend....the girls are doing good with my sister & she can be hard to deal with sometimes.

This was a very short stay. Did not actually get the chance to interact on a daily basis.

There are several staff members who are truly wonderful and very caring. However, the building where my loved one resides appears to be somewhat short-staffed, and it seems that an additional team member would make a big difference. Some staff appear to be working extra hours and covering multiple roles, which can make it challenging for them to respond quickly when several residents need help at the same time. Meals could also be improved-portions are on the smaller side, and dinner often consists of lighter options such as sandwiches. I make sure there is some additional food available in the room, though not all residents have that flexibility. On a positive note, the staff have shown great patience and kindness in helping with the adjustment to assisted living, and the facility is consistently kept clean and well-maintained throughout the day.

Suggestions--- 1) Movement/Exercise opportunities for residents. 2) Pizza and Old movie in common area 3) encourage to drink more water/liquids Like the open communication with director and head nurse/aid

If they would clean the rooms a little better and more often it would be really close to a 5. The staff all seem pretty happy and are always friendly. They also seem to be genuinely caring. The food is good, at least what I have sampled and seen. I would recommend it.

The facility is alike a large home with a home like feel. Residents have there own private room with private bath. There are 3 meals a day with other food and snacks available. They also have access to a large covered patio. The building is secured electronically. I appreciate that there is not a lot of turnover with the staff at The Cottages in Corinth and the caregivers are very attentive to the residents needs. A NP is available should the need arise. The directors are always available if any questions it concerns arise.

This is a home. The staff are awesome. They work not just for an income, but also out of love. For example when I first moved in the maintenance man was very busy helping update their internet. The director and activity director came in on a Saturday off the clock to hang pictures on my walls. It is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for and meet any needs you have. When we as residents wanted something changed on the menu they became aware, the next day the menu changed. I am very happy here.

We have been very pleased with this facility. Staff has been great, the food very good, medication monitoring, and consistently good care from the entire staff for our loved one. We would like to see the TV service updated and more user friendly for elderly. Overall we are extremely pleased with this facility. They have made the transition to assisted living for our loved one a very positive. Our plans are to continue our loved one living at this facility as long as possible .

Short staffing prevents some tasks. Mom doesn't particularly enjoy the food. Most staff are very nice & patient with Mom, but some are noticeably and known by all to be rude to residents, yet they are still there. There have been several medication slip ups and confusion. Would like to see some outings. Overall we like it for Mom, and she's gained so much independence. It's small & just the right size facility for her.

The day shift staff is good, but there is not much attention with night shift. There is also not much daily activity. However, what we like the most about Seabrook Pointe is that it is a secure facility, and day shift seems more attentive. A little more daily activity with residents...less parked in front of tv. Overall, we would recommend this community to other families.

To be honest, the staff was friendly when I was there but they do not look in on dementia/alzheimer residents like they should. If someone wants to put a loved one there for that I do not recommend them.

The only issue I have with this place is that I live out of state and contacting them when I need to speak with someone can be challenging.

My dad is at Magnolia Manor and doing well! I would rate a 4 on everything except #5.Administrative staff. For that one, I would rate a 3. They are friendly but some times it's hard to get a hold of someone or they're slow to respond. That's been a little difficult since my sister and I live in a different state. The staff and other residents are friendly and welcoming. From what I've seen of the food, it's better than what is often found in facilities.

I understand how hard it is to find quality staff. However, there has been a lot of complaints about one of the nurses at this facility. (Not [name removed], which no longer works there) I personally experienced it myself on a Friday evening at 6pm. I was called and told my family member was out of medication that he takes everyday. This is a very long drawn out story but I was 4 hours away at the time and practically had a meltdown over the phone with her. My expectations of every single issue that comes along isn't at the very top however, had I known this before 6pm in a Friday it would not have happened this way. My sister and I are happy with Magnolia Manor. Our dad is safe, clean clothes, clean sheets, 3 meals a day, happy neighbors, he loves being there. I do have a problem with who is planning the medicine dispensing. I'm not trying to say micromanage everything. I'm just wanting better skilled healthcare providers (mainly nursing staff) with a pleasant attitude and good communication skills!

The staff at The Commons are very friendly and professional. There is not an option for free housekeeping, the tenants pay for that. The staff always communicates with the family. The move-in process was simple. For the meals, the staff and tenants both cook the meals, every lunch and every Friday. I would recommend the facility to other people. The location of the building is convenient to everything in Huntsville.
