Both of my parents are doing just fine here. Some of the communities we looked at they just offered studio apartments and my parents would have had to share a bathroom which would not have worked out but here I was able to get them into a 1 bedroom apartment with their own bathroom. My parents are doing some of the activities the community offers and they are meeting new people. They like the food but if you are on any sort of dietary restrictions you need to monitor your own diet. The staff overall is friendly and nice. We would recommend this community

My mother lived her for 3 years and was very happy. The residents get great care and the facility is immaculate. More money should be allotted for activities so there could be evening activities more often. Better more choices should be offered. I do volunteer work here.

My mother was well treated. She was at this facility for 6 years.

This was the second choice for my mother, and her needs. This is very nice community, and our tour of it went very well. The community looked nice, and everything looked nice, and clean. The staff we met was informative, and our questions were answered. The experience was a great one, but we did find another community that suited our needs better.

We had a decent tour of this community. We toured it for our mother, and her needs. My mother did feel it was too big of a community for her. They have many residents, and we felt the transition would be overwhelming. The painting around the community was dark, and that was not my mothers taste. Everyone was very kind to my family, and I. Unfortunately this was not the right fit for her, and her needs.

Mom seems to be doing well now that she is settling in. From what I am being told she is starting to socialize and making new friends. So far no complaints about the food so she is eating well. The staff is friendly and helpful and on both sides, we have good and open communication. Anytime i have been there it has been clean and smells good.

Everything is well since my mothers move to this community. She is fine, and I'am comfortable with her move to this facility. Everything is working out well, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for our family.

As a family, we love the place, however, mom is having a difficult time adjusting to the place, in fact, we are going to be moving her to the memory care side this week. Due to her mental status, my mom will say that the staff is being unkind to her not treating her well but when I call or question the staff when I am there and that is on a regular basis they will assure me that nothing had happened and she was fine. Since mom won't get out of bed the staff brings her meals to her room. The location of the community is perfect it is in my hometown. The one thing that made me feel good about this place it is one story so in case there was some sort of emergency there shouldn't be a hold up of getting people out.

I must say out of all the communities that we have researched and toured this one seems to be the best one to fit my mother in laws budget she pays very little out of pocket and for memory care that is rare. The location is great since it is only a 15-minute drive from us. She is doing well there. The staff overall seems friendly however at first there was an issue with communication but that has been resolved. The rehab whether it be physical or occupational is going well. They keep me well informed of her progress. She is enjoying the food and she is engaging in the activities they offer. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My loved one has recently moved into this community and so far everything is going well for her. The staff are all wonderful people and I could have not picked a better group to care for her during this time. She has said nothing but great things about all of the meals and enjoys walks around the building with all the great scenery. Overall I would recommend this place.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to give my loved one and I a detailed look at there facility. I was pleased with the floor plan and all of the great amenities they had available to all of the residents. It was just not the right fit for him in the end decision.

During my search for a good community for mom, I toured Senior Commons at Powder Mill. I had a good tour, the person that took me around was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and maintained well. It was a good experience to tour, but not the best fit for my mother.

Over all very nice . Geared towards more abled bodied seniors. Cheerful atmosphere , nice bright dining room . Apartments 1 BR and 2 BR were cozy. not alot of storage space.Kitchen nice good size. I liked the 2 meals a day since most seniors don't eat much in the morning. always fruit available. Residents seemed happy and cheerful.

ThIs seemed like a nice clean community when we visited. The person that took us on our tour was nice. This community offers some daily activities and they allow pets.

The staff at The Crossings were attentive and helpful during mom's short stay here. The only complaint she had was that the food was always cold and terrible. The community was clean and well maintained. They offered daily activities and I would recommend this community.

The staff at this community are great. They are compassionate, patient and help dad with his medication. The food is good and it is served in a restaurant style. They are good with accommodating his needs. They offer an exercise class on site, a doctor that comes in once a week and the staff are very interactive. They are constantly cleaning and they do dad's laundry. I would recommend this community.
