I like everybody here. I like the activities. Bingo is my favorite.

Everybody is very nice and lots to do. The food is very good. My favorite activity is puzzles.

I just love it here. I love everything about. The activities are my favorite. The soup is my favorite. The staff is very nice.

I like it and people are friendly. Lot's of service, get laundry service meds, and I don't have to cook. I give you a 5 + (I say 8 or 10).

The community was one of my favorites and my second choice. But it was not really what I was looking for for my loved one and the location was further out. It was not a bad tour just not what I was really looking for.

The Birches provides compassionate care for all their residents. They provide a full-time physical therapist and exercise physiologist that provide tailored exercise classes and 1 to 1 wellness sessions in order to keep their residents functioning at their maximum potential. They have excellent communication between the management staff and family members to ensure all parties are informed and understanding of the care plan for their loved one.

The Birches at Newtown is a very nice community. The members of the management staff do everything they can to meet the individual needs of each resident living there. Their fitness program provides daily exercise instruction to keep the residents active and engaged.

A great place to live or work!

I have dealt the The Birches at Newtown for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier. They more than exceed my expectations for care of loved ones. The care is personal and developed specifically for the needs of each individual. They plan, execute, evaluate and follow-up. The facility is bright and cheerful and offers rehabilitation services as well as pleasure services like music, crafts, discussion groups and other service designed to involve residents on all mental and physical levels they are capable of. The staff know every resident by name making the friendliness quotient very high as well. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised of the outside of the Birches, décor of festive time. Entering the facility, was just as festive. Everyone greeted us with a happy "hello, and is someone helping you". We went to Nona's room, Nona was playing bingo. The appearance of Nona's room was neat and clean. We found Nona playing bingo and had to wait until bingo was over.(Nona said) We sat in the common room and visited for a while. A staff member came and asked if we would like coffee or tea. (Very impressed) I was happy to see how well Nona was doing at The Birches, and all of the friends she had made. Made me smile.

As soon as you enter the building you feel welcomed and comfortable. Watching the residents socialize, makes you smile just knowing that life can be joyful at all ages and during changing circumstances. Make sure to see the bird sanctuary and maybe taste one of the homemade cookies.

We know and appreciate how much our mom prospered under the good care at The Birches. That was a great gift to her - and us.

The Birches provided a friendly and safe home for our mom as she faced the end of her life. The support the team offered - care based, rehab based, activities, entertainment - all gave her reasons to anticipate tomorrow.

The Birches staff was attentive and caring towards our loved one, answering her call bell. They brought her continued assistance and gave us, her family peace of mind.

Finding a place that my husband could call home wasn't easy but we were lucky enough to find that place at The Birches. The care and compassion shown to my husband allowed him to spend his final years happy, content, and safe.

My mom is a resident of The Birches. They have done an incredible job taking care of her and all the others who are entrusted to their care. I can only imagine how difficult the pandemic has been for all of the staff - but they did a great job and I am grateful they kept my mom safe. Thank you!

Thee staff at Keystone Villa Douglassville was so wonderful helping to coordinate the move-in for my aunt. The welcoming that was given was so thoughtful and touching. The staff has continued to show support and updates above and beyond to ensure the new resident is comfortable and happy!!

Our mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. The decline we saw in recent months necessitated our need to place her in assisted living. When reaching out to local communities for information it was the immediate call back from [name removed] at Traditions that helped end our search. [name removed] spent a great deal of time listening, offering advice and assuring us that Traditions could meet our mother’s needs. [name removed] and the entire team at Traditions made the intake process and her move seamless. Within days we saw an improvement in our mom’s spirits which can be attributed to the stimulation she is now receiving daily combined with nutritious meals and excellent medical supervision all within the family-like environment the team at Traditions aspires to and delivers! We are more than happy to recommend this community to anyone needing a later-in-life new home.

I have worked at the Birches since the end of April, and Thank Goodness I was given this opportunity. The residents are amazing. All of them. Love them forever and a day. We work very hard but I always hear from them "thank you for all you do." Or "you work so hard. We notice it and appreciate everything you do for us." I love our staff, and you can see they love the residents as well. Amazing! Best of all our Executive Director is the most amazing ED I have worked with in a long time. He came into our community in the midst of construction, and works hard to keep his eyes peeled, step in when there is need, and check the halls throughout the shifts. He jumps in to move a sofa, serves ice cream during music programs, is a great bartender when he sees me struggling, and is Justin on the spot when he imagines he is needed. I've been working as an Activity Director for over 20 years. He has come into this fabulous company and made us amazing! Stop by and see the changes!
