The move in was a little rough. A lack of communication from staff and conflicting messages especially re: level of care. We were "over sold" being assured they could provide the care needed for my dad but in actuality they couldn't, which was very disheartening. He now has hospice care and is getting excellent care! Dimensions is a beautiful facility and adequate for seniors who are mostly independent.

It was nice enough. However. It didn't make our top three. My parents didn't like the location. It was near the Appleton airport and the sounds of the planes bothered them. We thought very highly of[removed] in Appleton. They were in a 1-2 tie with [removed]. Unfortunately my parents were buried on their waitlist. We were told by [removed] that many people who had been in independent living with them, were transitioning into assisted living. We also were hugely impressed by [removed]. However, their memory care facility was in an entirely different building. Not the best design and a bad match for my parents. My mom is weak and frail and my dad has early stage dementia. Hope all this helps.

The tour was fine. We were shown and got to see everything. Everything looked clean. The people were nice. It seemed like a good facility. But I didn’t walk in and feel like this is where Mom needs to be. I preferred a more homey atmosphere for her. I didn't like how big the facility was and how close it was to a busy highway. The main thing I didn't care for was that assisted living was in a completely separate building from memory care, which would make it a harder transition for her later on. Overall I thought it looked like a good place. It was just not right fit for my mom.

I realize that everyone is very short staffed right now and continue to have high turnover. [name removed] is amazing, she was the move in coordinator. She has since taken a different position. [name removed] in maintenance is also very kind and responsive. It would be nice for the residents that come and go to have a way to get back in the building after 6pm besides waiting for someone to maybe come answer the door. Food service/quality is absolutely horrible. Young adults working in this role with poor social skills, which doesn't work well with older people. Housekeeping is also poor in regards to individual room cleaning. Activities could also be much better. They have a new activities coordinator so hopefully this will improve as well.

We picked this community, because of the size, cleanliness, and location. The Marketing Director was amazing. I really loved it. The Activiites Director is amazing but also drives the van, cooks and the activiites are limited because they seem to be short staffed. They need improvement with the food and activites. Overall, they are very nice people, and it's a nice place.

As far as the staff rating, the 5 rating is for the floor staff. Management I would rate at a 2. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, however, I felt the Executive Director was very unprofessional.

Edencrest was nice, but the views not as good and seemed to me that it needed updating.

They have been pretty friendly. There has been changes, and lack of communication. They need to do better with providing better communication, overall cleanliness, and making sure my loved one has their medication in a timely manner. Hopefully, with new management things improve.

If you need any level of care above the simple things then it is not the place to go, it is hard to get consistent care needed for my loved one. The level of care they said would be provided was not the level of care that is received.

Staffing shortages and delay in services. Exceptional facilities. Competitive rate.

The community wasn't clean. It had a moldy smell to it and the working staff did not seem friendly or engaged with the residents.

The place is very clean and well kept. They empty trash from Moms room every single day and clean the room once a week. Common areas look nice. Most of the people who are working there are friendly and helpful. When I email or leave a phone message I can wait days for a reply however. Mom absolutely hates the meals. She complains that they don't know how to put together a good well balanced meal. Guests are not allowed in the dinning area That began because of Covid-19 I am sure, but they are still adhering to this rule. Although I am fully vaccinated and boosted I can't tell you first hand what I think of the food. Mom says she's tired of cheese sandwiches. They seem to do an ok job of providing activities. And the price is about what you would expect a good assisted living facility to charge. It's high, but that's what I would expect. The value for the cost would increase dramatically if they served good meals.

I absolutely loved the way their common areas were laid out! It was so cute and awesome - like little streets. When you came in the door, there are faux street lights, just like you’re walking down a street. They did a great job making it a wonderful place to want to hang out. However, I didn’t like that the rooms were so small. And they might not have been smaller than rooms at other facilities, but there was just one single window, and it felt dark and closed in.

We are having a little bit of an issue with the meals and dining service - first off the quality of the meals are just really bad and second off they strongly push for everyone to come down to the common area where they serve the good for every meal, if you do not want to go down there but still want a meal they charge you a stiff delivery fee. However they do seem to have a lot of different activities going on like bingo, entertainment after lunch and people come in to sing songs

The community and rooms are nice. It is like a new building. However, since my loved ones have been in the community the staff have been turned over several times. There is only one staff member at times that is consistently there to care for the residents. The community isn't able to uphold their promises due to the staff not being able to be there to care for the residents. The director position hasn't been filled in several months. The van is there for transportation, and since my loved ones have been in the community the van hasn't been used for transportation. The community consistently states excuses about why the van isn't being used for transportation for the residents.

We toured Country Manor and did not find it as clean as others we were looking at. My loved one also just felt it was not as good of quality.

I would tell others to look a bigger community. The communities that are newer have more options and more things to do. This community seems older and no one pays attention. There have been some staffing issues.

We did a virtual tour of this community and it was very nice. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. The rooms were much smaller than what we were looking for.

This place was ok but I was not impressed with the room. Someone had just left and it was very messy and unable to imagine what it would love like with my father's furniture. Very small and no other options available.
