there are many activities offered, my dad has not taken part in them. The key fobs they use are hard for my dad, he is used to a regular key and lock. He struggles even after 6 weeks or more of being there. We chose Edencrest for Location - close to my brother and me. Cost- they ran a special price for the first 12 months.

I would recommend to others and they have a great staff. Its a smaller facility and I like the layout and the staff.

Very nice facility. The staff is extremely helpful and always looking for ways they can help residents. Facility is always clean. Elegantly decorated common areas for season or holiday. Menu could be more varied. Staff is very accommodating if resident wants special food while ill.

I was pleasantly surprised with the look and feel of the facility at Edencrest at Timberline. Friendly people, good food (sometimes cold, though) and good activities. There were some resource constraints, but management was working on handling the issues. I felt at home from day one of my stay.

There has been a lot of turnover so I think they are working on it. But staff do not say hi to visitors and no one knows their names. The kitchen staff has been new a few times. It appears they do not plan menus taking the residence age and abilities to eat what they cook. Most things are fried and coated. I have personally eaten there and it was overcooked and cold. They have removed the salad bar so no other choice. I feel they at least need to always have fresh fruits available and yogurts. Casseroles and foods that are more easily digested.

Friendliness of staff. 4 Nurses don't have time for residents or resident's family. Neither does executive director. They don't return phone calls. Meals and dining - Breakfast the best. Lunch and Dinner repetitive. Activities - Repetitive. For my Mom, the activities are too simple. Bingo all the time, crafts a kindergartner can do.

This was one of only a few choices I had at the time. I was not pleased but it turned out to be fine.

I would say it's ok and probably getting better. They have had staffing issues and you want to check on them a lot (your parent).

Included in the price is transportation to social or medical events. They attempt to get input for social events and the menu from residents. The staff regardless of position chip in where needed to meet the needs of residents. The assistance given those in assisted living is defined in an assessment that can be modified as needs change as soon as 30 days. Staff are friendly and respectful.

I like that it's, clean, very secure, they cook meals on a schedule. There are lots of staff in the building. They have activities, a nice backyard and enclosed patio for fresh air. The rooms are nice overall. I like how they give meds on a schedule and seem to be very efficient with that. They also have them on a showering schedule which is great. Improvements: they need to asses patients accurately. Rent amounts are based on patient levels of care, and the level they put my Mom at and the care they supposedly give for the price, is not true. When I went in person they barely checked on her all day if she is in her room, yet state 30 min checks on her assessment. She is paying for level 4 care, and is not needing nor receiving level 4 care. Also, my mother will ask for help with things and they will either put it off or usually forget altogether and I have I message the house manager. I live out of state so this is a concern since I can't always check on her in person. Some Staff are not very personable, they talk amongst themselves and don't engage really with patients or the patients family unless we talk to them first.

Azura is clean and staff is friendly. A bit understaffed but ok. Food could be improved, more variety, but mom eats well with no complaints. They could do more entertaining. Such as more local music groups and activities. Either afternoons or early evenings. Things outside in the courtyard. Overall we've been satisfied with her care. Things are never as perfect as a family would want them to be. The staff is responsive to our requests and are hardworking.

Staff are very kind and professional. The only things that we felt was not great. Food. They served cold plates a lot. The pricing went up several times. A couple months after they got there they were being charged for meals. Meals were not being charged when they first moved in. When Mom needed memory care they took wonderful care of them. Mom enjoyed being in the common area just watching and listening to everyone. After Mom passed they made sure to invite Dad to all there activities. He didn't feel like going a lot of the time. But they made him feel included.

What I like the most about the Gurnee Place is the openness of the community

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Edencrest at Beaverdale. Everyone was very nice.

My loved one was previously a resident at Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Support and the overall experience was okay. However, my friend's mom is currently a resident there. Due to new leadership that came in, along with many new staff members, things seem to be greatly improved. So that is awesome!

I am basing this off of the memory Care unit since Mom has been there the longest. They're willing to work with families on where to place residents and how to care for each individual resident. With the activities, they could improve by just trying to include the memory care residents more often for having more separate activities for the memory care. Food is hard.. it's tough to cook for that many people and I know they're understaffed. I think they probably do their best.

Overall we were pleased with Oconomowoc, but my aunt wasn't too happy with the food. There are always things one can complain about and many things to be grateful for. We would definitely consider Azura for any future needs. The staff is friendly and caring and facility is clean and modern. Everyone made it feel like home.

I would tell others looking that they are having a hard time getting quality qualified personal just like all the other facilities in the area that are in the same business so the turn over rate is high. As far as the food goes, they could improve by using less of the previously prepared stuff and less of the canned food.

It has been a long time since my loved one was at Azura Memory Care of Monroe, but during the time there, the staff were always very helpful and courteous to us both. I would highly recommend Azura to others looking for memory care.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful by answering all questions and inquiries about the facility. Was willing and able to show us what their clients had available for a full day at the facility. All of my family members could not attend the first appointment and the staff made themselves available at the convenience of the other family members. Provided us with what food choices were available to the clients.
