The care was very good. The Staff was very kind and available, she was quite a handful.

Terra Bluffs has an amazing staff. They really care about residents and family. Apartment is big and new. Some complain about how loud the heaters are in the apartments. The food is hit or miss. My Mom was there for a year until she passed. They worked well with hospice to provide for her needs up till the end.

Talk to individual departments about concerns rather than director of AL. For example, if they are not putting out fresh fruit at the snack table like they should talk to the food department. Activities could have more of a variety. Mom is much happier here than at her previous facility.

It seemed like there was a fair amount of turnover among the caretakers. My mom fell 6 or 7 times where she was sent to the ER. She should have been using her walker at all times... not sure how strictly that was enforced. I had dinner with my mom a few times and it was not great. Admin staff was very hard to get a hold of... several times we called the main number and no one answered. I think they did the best with what they had. I did think the facility was very cute and had a great set up with the separate neighborhoods.

The facility was well knowledged and help make the process go smoother. The gentleman in charge of the intake, unfortunately, had taken a position right as my father moved in. A few weeks later, the director of the facility had given word he was leaving also. These two gentlemen specifically helped the process tremendously.

It's a beautiful facility that tries to have activities to engage the residents. The staff is caring. There is a resident advocate group that meets with the staff to talk through any issues or new ideas which I think is great. They seem to bring in a variety of entertainers each week which the residents seem to enjoy. My relative is able to walk in the building for exercise as well as attend generally daily exercise classes which has been so good for her. She has made several friends and enjoys living in this community.

My Mother was there for only 1 1/2 months. Her condition deteriorated quickly and we had to move her into a nursing/hospice facility. But the time she spent there was good. The staff and residents were very nice people who helped her as much as they could. I would recommend Stoney River to anyone who was in a true assisted living situation.

Their communication process is excellent. Staff is very caring and takes time to listen. Since my father in law's admission there has been a leadership change with many improvements

The staff is welcoming and kind. It seems clean for the most part, but[name removed], the executive director is very rude and unprofessional. I do wish we would have looked around more but has to act fast.

Weekend staff were not so good, they were all contracted staff. They were very expensive and charged me for 15 days after she died. This is not a place I would consider if I need it.

The memory care director and majority of the caregivers are very loving and kind. They take excellent care of my mom. The food is very good and easy for my mom to eat. They work well with mom's hospice team and seem to have strong communication. There are not many activities on the memory care side and the ones I have seen haven't been very engaging. The other things to improve tend to be more industry-based problems I think - high turnover of staff, lack of communication from management (not about care, more about events, etc). Overall we are happy with Terra Bluffs.

So far so good. Dad seems safe and happy. It's a small, kind community. The rooms are decent, bedroom has a queen bed comfortably and the living room has a couch and chair. Activities tend to be mostly cards and other games, and occasional performances especially around the holidays.

we had to change her level of care to the memory care unit after 2 weeks and I wish we would have been told that from the beginning. more frequent laundry needed and entire place needs a refresh. very friendly. had a fall within a month. my mom didn't participate in any while in the assisted living area and just watches TV in memory care.

there are many activities offered, my dad has not taken part in them. The key fobs they use are hard for my dad, he is used to a regular key and lock. He struggles even after 6 weeks or more of being there. We chose Edencrest for Location - close to my brother and me. Cost- they ran a special price for the first 12 months.

I would recommend to others and they have a great staff. Its a smaller facility and I like the layout and the staff.

Very nice facility. The staff is extremely helpful and always looking for ways they can help residents. Facility is always clean. Elegantly decorated common areas for season or holiday. Menu could be more varied. Staff is very accommodating if resident wants special food while ill.

I was pleasantly surprised with the look and feel of the facility at Edencrest at Timberline. Friendly people, good food (sometimes cold, though) and good activities. There were some resource constraints, but management was working on handling the issues. I felt at home from day one of my stay.

There has been a lot of turnover so I think they are working on it. But staff do not say hi to visitors and no one knows their names. The kitchen staff has been new a few times. It appears they do not plan menus taking the residence age and abilities to eat what they cook. Most things are fried and coated. I have personally eaten there and it was overcooked and cold. They have removed the salad bar so no other choice. I feel they at least need to always have fresh fruits available and yogurts. Casseroles and foods that are more easily digested.

Friendliness of staff. 4 Nurses don't have time for residents or resident's family. Neither does executive director. They don't return phone calls. Meals and dining - Breakfast the best. Lunch and Dinner repetitive. Activities - Repetitive. For my Mom, the activities are too simple. Bingo all the time, crafts a kindergartner can do.

This was one of only a few choices I had at the time. I was not pleased but it turned out to be fine.
