My mom is happy at this community. Since becoming a resident she is awake more and not sleeping as much. They got her participating in activities and she is eating and likes all the meals. I like that they wake them up and get them dressed and ready for the day. It's a good place.

5 stars just doesn't seem enough when rating Autumn Leaves of Gurnee. We transitioned my grandmother here after a poor experience at another local nursing care facility. From the very beginning, the staff at Autumn Leaves Gurnee has been terrific. A move of this type is stressful for the family as well as the resident. I can't say enough about [Removed] who made this transition quite a pleasant experience. Since the move, the care my grandmother has received has been excellent. The nursing staff care and communication is also terrific. [Removed] keep us well informed regarding my grandmother's health and have been always available for a health consultation. [Removed], Executive Director of Autumn Leaves Gurnee, is nothing short of amazing. She cares deeply for the residents and goes above and beyond what we would have ever expected. The staff is always warm and welcoming when we visit and are very attentive to the residents. We researched a dozen different housing options in the area and Autumn Leaves of Gurnee stood out among them all. Our experience since moving in has shown this to be a great decision for my grandmother. I could not recommend them highly enough!

This is a nice community for care for my father. The staff are always helpful. The menu is very good and he seems to like the variety. This is a positvite envirment for my father to enjoy. They offer him to get involved with the other residents. I would highly recommend the care of this community to other families for good care and a nice value

The tour here was nice and the staff were very helpful. The community was clean and well maintained. They had a nice menu. My mom wanted her own room and so this was not what we wanted at the time. I would recommend this community for families to tour for care.

I was not happy with this community. They asked me to take her out of the community due to construction was starting. I was not informed that she could not stay here. I had to ask for her personal items back. They did not warn me that she could not stay. They would not use my mom's pharmacy at all. I did like the staff and took good care of her when she was there. I paid a deposit and then due to having to take her out they ask me if I was going to bring her back. I would not recommend this community for other families . My mom has a room mate that is taking her personal items.

I like the care here for my mom. The staff are outstanding and always make sure that she is doing good. The community is very clean and nicely taken care of. The menu is very nice and a great variety of meals are offered. The activities are helpful for her to participate. I would highly recommend this community for the good care and the value received. I like knowing that she is happy here.

Mom seems to like the food at Autumn Leaves. The residents are friendly and she is making new friends. The community is gorgeous and it is a nice environment. The staff are wonderful, encouraging and attentive. They try to do whatever they can to make sure the residents are well cared for. They offer daily activities and mom seems to enjoy participating in some of them. She is walking better since moving in and I would recommend this community.

I thought Edencrest was a very nice facility. The rooms were very nice and it was a positive experience. We did not choose Edencrest because it was a little more expensive than other options in the area.

My mother had been in another facility for almost 2 years when she moved to Autumn Leaves about 2 weeks ago. When she got there she wasn't speaking or walking, slept most of the time and spent most of her time in the wheel chair, and was almost total care. From day one the staff noted that it was very hard to wake her up and to keep her awake. Slight changes were made and now she is allowed to sleep until she chooses to wake on her own. She is talking again. They encourage her to walk and her legs are getting stronger. She is a concert pianist and hadn't played in 2 years, she has started to play again. The people at Autumn leaves have been amazing. She even says she like the food.

This is a nice community for good care. The staff is pleasant. The meals are needing some small improvements lately. They offer a lot of activities that he is participating in and it is very helpful. They have a nice activities board to see what he is participating in. We would recommend this community for other families for the care of a loved one.

I am very impressed with everything at Autumn Leaves so far. I pop in a few times a week and every time my mom will be involved in activities or doing something. The staff is great, they take very good care of her. My mother seems to like it, it has been a good experience.

I would say they have been excellent so far. I don't think my in laws would be happy wherever they are. We made some changes since they moved in and Azura was very accommodating. At this point I would recommend them.

This is a beautiful community. And we liked how clean it is. This looks like a glamorous place and not a community for assistance. We found the staff to be very nice and answer the questions we had. They were activities for all the residents. We highly recommend this clean and beautiful community.

All around this community has provided excellent care to my mother and I have been very pleased with her experience this far. She does not eat many of the meals because of her age but really likes the dinning experience and the interaction she has with the other residents. I really like the fact that they have multiple common areas with great amenities for her to relax throughout the day and not be stuck in her bedroom.

My father lives here and it enjoys it. He's a bit of an introvert so he isn't getting that involved in activities. There is a retired Pastor close by and they offer church services which is nice.The one thing that could change is he feels like he is eating all day because the meal times are so close together. I wish they would start supper later, they start serving at 4:30 and if you are not there early you have to pick off the menu that's left.He started buying his own groceries and making sandwiches for dinner.

This community is really a caring community. My in laws had a incident and they were right there. They even checked up on my mother in law to make sure that she was doing okay with everything. We really are appreciative of this place and all that they do.

I am happy with the care of the staff at this community. We like that they are always helpful and friendly. We are glad to know that he is happy with the meals and the nice variety. There are activities for him to stay active. The community is clean and we would recommend other families to this community for good care for a loved one.

They have been great with my mom. If you need this type of care, I would highly recommend! They have been very helpful to me and my whole family. Very loving and caring to my mom and me. They are awesome.

VERY nice, but TOO expensive for us. would be about 6000 per month it is like a "little city". has everything. I would rate high, even though it's not an option for us.

We are so pleased with the staff and the care that our loved one receives here. They really make it feel like home. There are many activities throughout the day to keep everyone involved and active. The facility is clean and beautiful. We couldn't ask for a better place for our loved one to be!
