It is hard to explain what Emeritus has done for my Dad. He's been there only a few months and he is better than he was over a year ago. It's truly amazing. He's happy, hungry, participates in activities and more. I'm really happy for my Dad knowing that he is getting superior care. Emeritus should be a guideline for all other memory care facilities. The best ever. 5 stars is not enough, at least 10 stars.

My mother-in-law needed a respite placement following surgery. Not many places offer respite care. We were able to tour the facility and enroll "G" at EFR. The building was well kept and the staff friendly. They took very good care of "G", attending to all her needs. Meals were home-made and portions generous.

My sweetheart was there for about thriteen days. She didn't like it, but she had alzheimer's so she didn't really know what was happening. They took good care of her there. Hospice came in too and they were great. It's a great place; very clean, very nice people, very professional.

We were in a bind and had to choose a community right away and out of the communities that we talked to Emeritus just seemed to actually care about our mothers needs. The other communities seemed like it was all business and really felt kind of rushed. Emeritus had immediate availability and the staff seemed to know what was going on.

The staff shows a genuine interest in the residents and really makes it a more friend type feeling rather then a hospital feeling. The staff is really friendly and talks to the residents and really makes them feel comfortable. The third floor has longer windows and really provides the best views of the area. The inside of the rooms are really nice and comfortable. We are very pleased with our choice and would recommend it to anyone.

I toured 3 separate occasions and found this facility exemplary,in services,employees,and patients(of character)throughout.I am sorry my mother is in need of more care than Fox River could offer.

Nice place and staff was great!

It's a pretty good place. Ifel like, we got our moneys worth. My loved one is in the memory care unit, and they went from six to ten residents, which is still a pretty small group. They do a pretty good job, for what they have to deal with, especially since it's dementia patients. I am very impressed at how they do their job. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

I would say to take a look and consider this community. We have had a great experience with our loved one. We are still transitioning and things happen here and there but we understand them being a bigger company and short staffed. Sometimes they can lag on communication but other than this things are great. The staff are excellent very friendly, compassionate and caring.

I would go check out Country Manor to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one. The community is able to monitor my loved one for safety (to make sure my loved one doesn't fall), redirection, medication management, and more for care. The community stays in contact with my loved one's doctor to make sure they are well taken care of. They are good about staying in contact with the family and this is wonderful. Some of the activities that are available are music therapy, be active group, and more for the residents to choose from. It can be difficult for the residents to stay engaged as there isn't an activities director for memory care currently. My loved one likes the food being served. There is a good variety of food offered. They provide 3 meals a day and snacks to the residents. The staff do a good job at making sure the residents are staying hydrated. I appreciate this for my loved one.

They have a lot of activities with a lot of stuff to offer for the residents to participate in. My loved one does not always participate but there is activities for them to pick from. I would highly recommend this community. The apartments are really nice with good access and the place has a homey feel.

I visited my dad through a window the last weeks of his life. I was able to be by his deathbed. I am glad mom was able to acclimate to Azura before the virus. I would like to get tested, be quarantined till the results are available and go directly to spend the whole day with mom... Even drive with her on country roads... no other people involved.

Brookdale Appleton was very welcoming of my uncle, both staff and the community. My uncle many times remarked on how everyone knew everyone. Brookdale is well kept, friendly, community oriented, and supportive.

[Name removed] was at Sylvan Crossings for only 4 months. We were extremely satisfied with her care. But the best features at the facility were the caregivers AND the low number of people residing there. Thanks so much to [Name removed] and [Name removed] especially

Advise anyone wanting to retire in a senior retirement village that has safe, quiet, living, meeting all necessary needs, you should check out Kruse Village. Beautiful with other friendly people.

Generally satisfied that our mother, age 97, is in a safe and caring environment. Lots of new faces showing up. Not sure why major (recent) staff turnover – I am watching closely, however. Staff is caring and observant. Only small concern is the frequent offering of sweet snacks before meals. (Sweets always win over veggies and protein)

Azura memory care has been a fantastic find for me for a place for my wife. I love the caregivers and all they do. It is one of the most underappreciated jobs out there and tough to do. So hats off to them! They understand my wife's issues and deal with them patiently. Not all places are that patient. She was at another facility that flatly kicked her out. Leaving me in a difficult situation. But Azura in Stoughton knew they could and would take care of her. I am very in debted to them for what they do.

This is a nice community it is smaller and we were considering this and one other community for my mother. The rooms are very small and there are no extras like in-house rehab. You have to arrange all of that, as well as pay for it by yourself. The residents there seemed happy we just felt it was on the small side for what my mother needs.
