I am very happy at my new HOME !

The whole team at Colonial Harbor has been excellent! They show genuine caring for their (potential) residents and families. I was amazed that the marketing director knew every resident by name. The team was welcoming and encouraging without being pushy and overbearing which showed their interest in having my father come join them as a resident.

It’s really nice. There are no issues with laundry or food. I ate the food once and it was okay. There is an outdoor area for residents. The parking is okay and it’s conveniently located. The best feature is that it is very clean.

It's nice and clean, the people are pretty nice. Sometimes it can take a while to get pictures hung. All transportation is included, but getting the rides set up can be difficult. Housekeeping is including but it is just a surface clean, it's not that detailed. The food is excellent. They have lots of activities, they don't check on you though. They have a beautiful theatre in there. They are very accommodating.

My 92 year mother moved into Salishan the week of Thanksgiving 2013. She immediately loved living there primarily due to not having to eat her meals alone and the numerous activities scheduled. The staff made the move in and subsequent adjustment a extremely pleasant transition. Within 1 month after moving in, an apartment closer to the dinning area opened up and again the staff helped move her belongings and our part was only address change and having the phone service moved. She has been there for 5 months now and absolutely loves it. My brother and sister-in-law who live out of state have visited mom a couple times and stayed in one of the guest rooms and loves the idea of being so close to mom and raves about the room, meals and staff.

My daughter, sister and I have lived at The Carriage House for almost 11 months and are very pleased with all aspects . The food is wonderful, the residents are friendly, the surroundings are beautiful (5 star), and most important of all, the staff is exceptional in caring about us and in serving us.

So far, this has been a great experience for my mother. She says she is happy....so far.

My 84-yr-old mother liked the place from the beginning. A unique concept in that there is no huge initial outlay of money - it's a rental from month to month. 3 balanced and delicious meals a day are provided, along with more services and activities than I can enumerate here. My mom's apt is tiny, but well appointed. It's going to be difficult for her to downsize, but I think she will be happy here. She's going to move in March 2014.

Stoneybrook is very fancy! It's beautiful and gorgeous. It's a gorgeous spot and I know Corvallis and like it there but my decision really just came down to price and location and Stoneybrook didn't make the cut.

The staff is great. They've recently had a manger change - which is normal for them - and they had a problem with the elevator and the new manager got that problem resolved pretty quickly considering all the red tape they had to go through. Parkrose Chateau is part of a fairly large corporation and the management had to go out on their own and get this elevator fixed. It was good that they did that. I've had one meal there and it was pretty good. The did have an interesting desert but sometimes you just have a flop. The staff is just amazing. I really can't say enough about them.

They've been very good. My mother has been there a few month now and she loves it. She's a people person so she's very very happy here. They did have some situations going on with the activities. The activities were a little lagging the last few months but they've hired somebody new and the calendar is picking up again, as it should. They also have a new head person there and the sales director is not there anymore which is a shame. I really liked her. I've had some concerns about the staff turnover but the place is running okay. The main thing is my mother loves it there. I haven't seen any drawbacks other than I think they're short-staffed. Maybe this is because of budget needs but they have their housekeeping staff also serve food in the dining room. For a company as big as Hawthorne I really thing they should have separate staff for housekeeping and dining. Quite a few of the residents are a lot older but they are really nice and a lot of them are still very mobile. Mom just needs medication reminders. Otherwise she a pretty active senior.

Mom is doing really well, she's very happy there and we're happy that she's happy; so so far, so good!

Well managed. Do a good job attending to residents needs, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

My mom lives there. She hasn't complained. The one thing is if you request something to be corrected like a leaky faucet or something it takes several days for them to do. That's why I give them a 4.5 so it's really not that bad. I think one thing that is spectacular is that when people come in the door of the place it feels like a vacation. My mother's friends have commented that they're surprised with the price for what they get. They go to the casino. I know they went to Eugene and shopping. They have music during the week and bingo. They had a Saturday tailgater for the Oregon and Oregon State game. They have happy hour, I think it's Thursdays.

We loved the staff and the facility. We're past the halfway super nice and helpful. The facility was clean and welcoming. As far as the food goes, they need better selections or more choices. Tough for picky eaters.

I’d give the staff a 5—they’re all thoughtful, professional, and have made my experience great so far.

Very nice place. Very bright cheerful. The amenities were very nice. The price was slightly less than some of the other places we toured. All 3 meals were included, in the monthly rental fee. Therefore the apartment had kitchenettes instead of actual kitchens. It will be a contender for us, if we can sell our home.

This is a lovely place and I've decided to move here in the near future! The Apts have generous closet space compared to many places I toured. The only problem I found was it took a long time for meals to be served. The meal we had was very good. Also, pets are allowed. I gave it 4 stars only because of the time to be served our meal.

There has been a lot of transition so activities will probably improve. They are also looking for an Executive Chef so hopefully the food will improve! The value is great.
