Heatherwood is a wonderful, loving, safe community for my mom. The staff are incredible and really care about every one of their residents. I can't believe some of the reviews here as they are not representative of the Heatherwood that I know. I would recommend Heatherwood to anyone who wants the best possible place for mom and dad to live.

The management staff is examplary! After several false starts we now have the best. The food has improved so much it is hard to believe. My only suggestion would be that the regional/local managers occasionally walk the property and note areas that need/will need repair before the problem becomes worse/more expensive. Windows need washing

My parents moved into this facility three days after it opened in October of 2009. My father died in May of 2012 at the age of 96. During that time interval they lived in two, different two bedroom apartments - both quite spacious with outdoor patios. After my father died I moved my Mother into a single bedroom apartment. She has been living in that apartment for six years and is now 102 years old. I live less than two miles away from this facility and visit my Mother most every day. Even at 102 years of age she is able to live independently here. Three meals a day are provided and I join her every now at then. Visitors are charged a minimal fee of $5/meal for these visits. A minimum of two selections are offered for every meal. Room cleaning and linen services are provided once a week. Laundry facilities are also available for all residents. Free of charge. I have contracted for assisted living personnel several times to visit periodically as needed. Mt. View Gardens does not provide this kind of assistance but does have a list of providers to consider. Twenty-four hour emergency monitoring is provided and Mom has needed to use that service several times in the nine years she has lived here. Response times were within minutes. I highly recommend this facility. Services and rooms for the monthly fees are quite reasonable. I have looked at similar facilities, primarily in the Tucson area, and find that Sierra Vista location is by far the better deal. I should mention that cable TV service is provided at no additional cost to all residents. Telephone and internet service is at your own expense. Exercise equipment is available for all residents as well.

w We really enjoy the ;Ranch". It is well run and has a positive friendly staff who go out of their way to make the residents feel comfortable and important. The food is amazingly good for institutionally prepared meals. There is always 3-4 options at each meal. It is presented very nicely and quite healthy. The residents are generally very happy and most friendly and keep letting us know we are important here.

When you are in a place that the meals are treated as an adventure, you are in the right place. Always cloth and table ornaments of some sort. Food excellent. Employees are like family to the residence. Staff also helps with meeting people, picking classes or adventures to go on, and encouraging the residence.

Love our new home and the people! Wish we had done this earlier. Downsizing wasn't easy, but worth it.

The new management this year is great! [Name removed] and [name removed] really make an effort to make people happy. They are approachable and make my mother living there feel like family. Portions of food could be better and more buffet brunches at dinnertime could be a good change. The residents could then have a little choice....something special once a month! Otherwise, the activity director and asst. Managers are awesome....friendly and caring.

My father has been living at Jordon Oaks for a year and he absolutely loves it. He often complements the food and enjoys the dining experience. He enjoys the daily activities and proudly displays numerous artwork in his room. He loves the variety of entertainment that is provided by outside organizations. The holidays are always a fun time for him. Most importantly, he has made many good friends who seem to care about him. I have personally found the staff to be very friendly and always willing to help when asked. They always extend an invitation to the family to join my father when they host special events. The facility is always clean and has a warm home-like feel to it. I highly recommend Jordon Oaks to any family that wants their loved one(s) to have a very nice place to live and enjoy life.

I have lived at Williams Place Gracious Retirement Living for exactly a year and absolutely love it. The food is excellent; our apartments are cleaned and linens changed weekly; and there's fun things to do on a daily basis and also weekly excursions. The managers and assistant managers live on site and go beyond the call of duty to accommodate us. Recently I fell and within practically seconds, the manager responded to my call for help. What a joy it is to spend my last years in the beautiful facility! [name removed]

We toured Summit Glen when we were looking at living options for my mother. We really liked Summit the best, but they had a waitlist going, so we were not able to get in immediately and we ultimately moved her in elsewhere. Summit Glen is so inviting when you walk into the community, and the staff is excellent. The owners live in the community, so it’s comforting to know that there is always someone to assist the residents at all hours of the day and night. The community is so clean and well-kept inside and out, and they work hard to maintain its new appearance. There are also so many activities for the residents to take part in. I know it would have been an excellent option for my mother had it not been for the waitlist.

My loved one did enjoy his stay here! Though he did not participate in too many activities, he liked the fact that the facility was very lively and vibrant!

My Mother has been at the Palms for approximately 2 months. She loves it, staff is friendly and go above and beyond. The food is great and it is very clean. Great location it is close to many stores and a health care center.

My mother has recently moved into this community and so far my wife and I are very pleased with how things are going. The staff have been very accommodating to her and make sure she is comfortable in her new living environment. She has had no complaints about the food and is impressed with how clean the housekeeping team keeps the facility.

My loved ones like living at Sanford Estates. The caregivers cater to the residents. They offer daily activities as well as a bus for trips and to take you to your appointments. The food is good and the community is clean. I would recommend this community.

This is a beautiful clean community. The staff we met during our tour were nice. The food was excellent. The pricing , however did not fit what we were looking for. This community seemed a little more for high roller type residents.

Awesome place. Very clean all staff and residents were very friendly. Food tasted good, a little pricey, but worth it. I loved the benefits and how they were explained to me. Enjoyed every visit, my mom only had good things to say about the place before she moved in, now she loves it.

I'm here and happy, the community has been great. They have 3 meals that are very good, not like home but good. They offer a mixture of activities, they have a good activities director. The apartment I am in is comfortable. I have one of the largest available with 3 rooms, large kitchen, and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. The main reason I chose this community is because it's only 2 miles from the house that I lived in before, and a friend of mine's wife and move moved here and loved it.

I lived at Mountain View for about a year and a half and then moved to Maui to be near my daughter. I moved from the Hawthorn group to a Holiday Retirement. Biggest mistake I ever made. No comparison between the two Independent groups. I would move back there in a minute if I could afford it. Everyone at Mountain View Gardens, cherish it. I miss you!
