We chose Northridge Gracious Retirement because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the gal who walked us through the facility for our tour. You could tell that she was genuine. My sister is in a studio apartment and it good for what she needs. She is happy here. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

It was a very nice community during our tour. They didn't have a memory care unit, and we needed more care than what the community offered.

They provide great resources for independent care. The staff is friendly. They have a reasonable amount of appropriate activities for the residents. My loved one is enjoying the food with the quality and taste. The community does special events around the food.

We toured this community and the facility was very nice. The tour was very good and we had a complimentary lunch. The staff was very nice but the price was on the higher side.

The cleanliness of the community is just fabulous and the staff members are pretty much like family at this point. The food here is healthy and presented well. They have a ton of activities we party all the time. I enjoy my apartment, it is quite comfortable and maintained perfectly. If something goes wrong the problem is fixed right away, they are very responsive when it comes to emergencies. We get physical therapy at the community. The grounds are beautiful, they are well maintained. Internally and externally it is a very nice welcoming place. During the pandemic we have had to lock down and during that time every precaution was taken to insure our safety.

We think the dining service would be a four out of five, and the meals would be about a three in a half out of five. Because of COVID they are having to have the meals delivered to the rooms and sometimes by the time they food gets there, it is cold which has been a struggle. However, we would absolutely recommend this community to others.

The cover page is usually educational, refreshing, and interesting. The second page is always interesting and revealing of fellow seniors as they spin take of their past. The word search is a good way to pass the time when you are writing for something else. Keep the print as large as possible. The sodoku is my favorite part and of the addition as it is challenging and informative and keeps my brain moving.

On my first review of Alexia Estates, I mentioned if you look for a rainbow in the sky, follow it as it will land on the rooftop of Alexis Estates Independent Retirement! My mom and I were so elated to what Alexis Estates offered her, especially comparing Alexis Estates to a more expensive Independent Care facility my mom came from. Unfortunately, at 94, she now resides above that rainbow! My mom had been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes but continued to keep the strength to return to Alexis Estates. It was family, comfort and the most awesome manager teams that lives on campus and is always present with a hug or talk of a dance! It is those 4 – [names removed] that make the difference! In addition, as my mom aged and needed more care, she could have not continued in Independent care had it not been for [name removed] with Senior Shield Caregiving (In-house care). She was my mom’s lifeline. And the embrace all five made to communicate and cover my mom’s needs plus make her life fun and comfortable… I just can’t thank them enough. I will miss stopping by! They make everyone’s life a joy to be around!

The Staff and my neighbors here are wonderful. I have a volunteer job working at our community store while I feel very needed. I have lived here over 4 years and it's my home !

Julian Estates is a beautiful community, it is clean and the people are very friendly. This was the most reasonably priced out of the other communities we had looked at. They have been through several chefs and the food is up and down. You can contract for additional care, but basically you are on your own unless you need that additional care, they also offer a lot of activities.

Because I have multiple sclerosis I found it necessary to quit living on my own. Mountain View Gardens is a month-to-month rental arrangement for individual apartments that allow for as much privacy as one would wish. I have lived here a little over a year and have found the facility full of interesting people. Since the pandemic started the management has taken steps to protect the residents and staff. I appreciate how well cared for I feel and can imagine how vulnerable I would be on my own had I not moved here.

My 84 years young father has been living at Mountain View Gardens for several years now and loves it! The facility is clean and the staff treats everyone like family. There is tons of stuff to do ranging from religious services to casino trips, exercise groups to on site movies. Regularly scheduled meeting are held to exchange information and to allow residents to express any concerns or ideas. You are not going to find a more caring group of people and their communication with residents and family is A+.

I think they have had a good amount of staff turnover, but the ones that are there are quick to respond. My mom really likes the fact that they offer an exercise class every morning. The dining experience is slow and is served in courses. They always offer fruit and snacks throughout the day. It seems very friendly. I like the fact that have a home care agency that comes in and provides care. It is absolutely beautiful out back. There's a deck that overlooks the private golf course. The view is beautiful. They offer a guest suite on each each floor for visitors to stay in. I feel like they have done a very good job of keeping the residents safe during this time of COVID.

My father has lived here since they opened and been very happy. The units are nice, staff is very helpful, residents are active and interesting. Food is good and activities are engaging. I highly recommend.

Staff is dedicated to maintain cleanliness in both public and private areas. Managers & staff and most residents are friendly and helpful. A few harboring bad attitudes or fanatic political observances create negative reactions. The quality of services provided is high in value. Care services are easily attainable. The activities director loves her work and does an excellent job of guiding in maintaining health and healthy attitudes. The chef meals are exceptional and delicious.

If you are looking for an independent Senior community, look no further. This facility is bright and cheerful. The staff is very friendly as are the residents. I get no bills here, including tv and internet. I gave up my car because the facility provides transportation for shopping and medical appointments. I do have a larger apartment than I reAlly need, but I can move to a 1 bedroom if the increase in rent is more than my income.

We were able to move my 90-yr old Aunt into Southern Pines Gracious Retirement, in Southern Pines, NC in Mid-October, of this year. She is in a studio apartment in a really beautiful facility, and is very happy to have moved out of her small, cottage style house after living there alone for 25 years. For most of those 25 years, she wouldn't consider moving out of "her" house. But after researching and visiting a number of possible options, I talked her into going with me to look at Southern Pines, and she was blown away by the facilities, the staff, and the so openly friendly residents. She loves bridge, reading, watching sports on TV and almost any group activity. SPGR has all this and more with a card room, a library and a weekly bookmobile; a chapel, a movie theater, an exercise room, an activity room that stays busy all day, all week; transportation to and from shopping, churches, doctor visits, and special field trips and activities; walking paths on the property, three excellent served meals each day in the dining room, and more. Levels of care include independent living thru hospice care. There are two managers on site 24 / day, as well as health care professionals, and therapists during daytime hours. SPGR also has a great working relationship with local hospitals and clinics. She really enjoyed moving in and decorating her apartment, and is very proud of her new home. I strongly recommend SPHGR for anyone looking for a retirement home or assisted living in this area.

[Names removed] do a great job of running Summit Glen. They always try to meet the needs of the people living here and they work hard to resolve any problems that occur to the satisfaction of all parties involved. They have been the managers here for many years and hopefully will continue to be the managers here for many more years. [Name removed]

Just Visiting, but enjoyed the community and the residents.
