I am celebrating my three years at Summit Glen today. it’s been a wonderful three years. I’ve been able to lead my life as I’ve wanted to with three good meals every day. cleaning my room once a week was very adequate. I feel very secure here and management is just out of this world. they will make sure all your needs are attended to. the servers in the dining room are wonderful and the people who clean our rooms are just so friendly and will help anyway they can. I just appreciate living here and it’s a beautiful home away from home since I can’t have my own home. this is the best! I’ll be 88 in December and is it just a wonderful place to be thank you

Both management teams are the best! They do all they can to keep the residents, and make them feel at home.

This building is a wonderful place for loved ones. The managers are thoughtful and attentive to all needs. They also have therapy services and aides on site to help people age in place. Such a wonderful place for elderly!

I can't say enough about how great the management and staff are. The place is a beautiful and well maintained. With lots of activities for whatever your level of ability. Food is every good and served in a relaxed atmosphere. I am very pleased with are choice of assisted living.

In August of 2018, when my 96 year old mom fell a the home she had lived in for more than 50 years, we realized she needed to move to an independent living community. When we visited Summit Glen, we knew we had found her new home! From the minute she moved in, she has felt precisely that way. She found her new home! [Name removed], the community manager, promised us that they would treat mom like she was their mom, and they have fulfilled that promise every single day! Mom has a lovely apartment with a deck. We can't believe how many of her precious things we were able to bring to that apartment. The storage is amazing! The building is beautiful and always clean. The food is delicious and Mom enjoys visiting with her her many new friends at meals. Mom just loves everyone who works there from her housekeeper to the servers and the chefs, the activities coordinator and, of course, the wonderful managers, who live on site and are there for the residents 24/7! We feel so blessed to have found the perfect home for Mom at Summit Glen!

My daughter-in-law/s mother was a resident at Carolina Estates for a little over two years. She would still be a resident at the facility except for the fact that she had to have her foot amputated and could no longer take care of herself even with home health coming in to check on her. I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful facility Carolina Estates is! [Names removed] and his wife take great care of their residents and look after their every need. My daughter-in-law's mother called [name removed] several times during the middle of the night to come to her apartment to check on something and he would go immediately to check on her. From the activity director, to the bus driver, to the cleaning people, to the dining room staff, everyone made the residents feel special. The food was delicious and there were always numerous activities and off-campus trips for the residents to take advantage of. This is definitely a five star facility!

Carolina Estates is a very caring, loving community, I feel so safe and secure living here. I am so very happy and feel so peaceful and feel like I am a part of a huge wonderful family. I couldn't ask for a better management team, they are so joyful and protective of their residents - such a joy to be living here!

I was in the area visiting my parents who have lived in their home for 60 years. My father has have been issues with falling recently and we know it's time to start making a decision as far as a transition into a community. When I first came by I only went by myself and I was really impressed with how new the community looked. I had seen the community and passing but had never been inside. I was able to bring my parents over to look and have lunch. The lunch was very delightful and we were greeted by all of the residents that lived here. I can tell that this community is definitely very welcoming and I am very much so impressed and would be happy with placing my parents in this holiday community.

I had a tour of this community this week. The tour went very well and I was very much so informed about the residents and the activities that they have as well as the care that they have to offer. During my search I have looked at about 5 different apartments and I will have to say that this Senior Living Community is really the best that I have seen. I am looking at placing my mother in this community at the end of the year. She lives in Boston and I am trying my very best to find her a place where she can fit in. Based off what I saw I do believe that this is the best community for her and I am leaning towards placing my mother here at the community. I want to thank everyone that helped me out.

Truly the best community out there in Wilmington. I have a chance to look at this community and this is actually the perfect place for my parents. They offer so many different activities for the residents and they truly seem to be very happy where where they're at I would highly recommend this community based off my experience of being there and looking at the community as well as how clean it was and the overall appearance this is a gorgeous place to be and I must say it definitely stood out among other places that I have looked

The first time I drove past Summit Glen I could tell that it was a special facility. It was well-maintained, with plenty of parking, grassy areas and an appealing warm feeling. I called and scheduled a visit with my mother, which included a complimentary meal during our tour. My mother is very picky about where she lives, so I had great doubts that Summit Glen would appeal to her. I was so wrong. My mother not only loved taking the tour of Summit Glen, but she met so many friendly residents who were eager to meet her and encouraged her to move in. We then met with [name removed] and [name removed], (the management team at Summit Glen), the same day, and all our questions were answered satisfactorily. My mother decided on the spot to sign the agreement to move to Summit Glen. My family has been greatly relived since my mother moved into Summit Glen several years ago. We don't have to worry that she has daily contact with her peers and that she will have many opportunities for activities and 3 good meals each day, plus snack items 24 hours a day. My family has always felt welcomed to enjoy meals whenever we want to and we happily dine with my mother and other residents regularly. I don't think there is a better value in this area with such an overall competent, responsive, well-trained staff in a clean, safe, healthy facility. I would definitely live at Summit Glen myself without hesitation. Grateful kudos and appreciation to [name removed], [name removed] and all the staff at Summit Glen. This is a great team!

My grandparents live here. It is a wonderful place, great people, great residents, great chefs. Stoneridge feels like family.

The staff and management at Stoneridge is great! We found everyone to be very helpful and courteous. The food is wonderful and we found Stoneridge to be a great fit for our Dad.

So great. This is a lovely community and I cannot really express how much I really love this community. I was really impressed with a residence and the stuff they seem to be very happy and content. We looked at other locations as well too but was really impressed by this particular Community. I really like how bright the community was it seemed like it was very open and not closed in. The outdoor had a very nice pond on the side and it had a very nice path that you could walk on. The residents seem to be very active which we really liked and it just seemed to be an overall great experience for us and the entire family. We are looking at placing our mom here in October and very pleased with what we saw.

Wow! What a beautiful community. I was referred over to this community by my church. Some of the current residence live here and go to my church. I know it has reached a time where I need to start looking at different communities and this community made me very happy. I got a chance to see one of my fellow church members here and she told me what a wonderful experience she has had. I do have my home For sale and when it does I will be moving here. This community really made me feel comfortable and like home. The people seem to be very nice and I was really impressed

I am not one that normally gives reviews. However I was really blown away by the atmosphere and friendliness of this community. Senior living can be very stressful especially when it comes to searching for the special place for your parents. I however had a very pleasant experience during my journey and looking at this community. There were a lot of things that I was unaware of prior to coming to the Woods at Holly tree and I felt like I left with a lot of knowledge about senior living. I must say that this community really felt like home and while this is a very difficult decision for both myself and siblings it does give me hope that my parents will be in a great community. Keep doing what you’re doing as we were very impressed

Before stopping by the community I did learn that this community is owned by holiday retirement. I was somewhat familiar with this type of community as my family used to live in a holiday community in Virginia. I toured the woods at holly tree and was really impressed with the location, cleanliness, staff, residence, and the overall feel that I got of the community. The community is definitely a smaller community which appealed to me because my mother would do better in such a community as She is very shy and normally keeps to her self. I did notice however in the other communities that they were much larger and detached which really worried me. I would say that this community is definitely by far on our top of the list. When my mother does decide to move this is the community that she will pick
