I actually give this place a 4.5 as its better than good. A bit more expensive then I would have liked, but the all inclusive costs of all the amenities, make it worth the extra. Their philosophy of people need people is exactly what we realized our mother needs to live a good quality life at her age. Provides the engagement with people through programs and activities that will have our mother living her life and not feeling isolated or alone. #1 on our list

Mom has only been at Carolina Estates for a month, but we are so happy we made the change. The food is 100 times better, the service is great, everyone is friendly, and we are saving money. They respond to any inquiry asap. The community is well maintained. Mom now has a 1 bedroom unit that is like new. We are paying less than for studio. She has full sized fridge and a microwave. All of this at a wonderful price. Even purchasing home health services is made easy and is economical. This is a treasure find for me. No more complaining phone calls about terrible food and services.

I love it here!!!! But I am very afraid my rent will increase in a year and I will be extremely sad because I will not be able to afford it. Right now it takes just about my total income. and I don't know how to fix that issue due to my income will not chANGE

Very informative tour, very friendly staff. Had several 1 bdrm apt available though not furnished they provided floor plans with appropriate furniture templates to see what one would need to fit in the room, very ingenious. Lunch was served restaurant style, come to the table and asked what it was that you wanted and then brought it back to table. Menu had several choices to choose from, lunch/dinner is the largest meal served. Very clean, lot of amenities available to keep one occupied and busy. $3000 is required, of which 1/2 is held on deposit until you leave and the other half is used for maintenance expense during your first 90 days and is refunded according to a certain percentage if you decide to leave early for some reason. 1 bdrm apt $2995. ??

Management is excellent. All 4 managers are ready to help and try their best to satisfy our needs. They are just overly pleasant.

I am very happy here, starting my 5th year. They have so much entertainment for the elderly regards what your age and your abilities. Management have all been great.

I love it here. I have been very happy since moving back home. Starting with the staff whom go above and beyond what I believe would be working their job description. It's made evident that they love what they do. It's personal, the activities have a broad range of choices. They are limitless. Having staff whom live on site is absolutely a positive. It has a huge impact.

Three months ago we made North Ridge our new home. We took 2 years to tour 14 facilities and knew when we were ready to sell our home North Ridge would be out 1st choice. For my husband, with 22 years in the Army Infantry, the "Wall of Honor" was very important. For me, it was all about choices...North Ridge gives you choices in great good...choices in daily activities and planned events...choices in time to be spent developing new friendships and time to enjoy privacy with my new freetime. North Ridge is the best choice for us.

Very good place to live!

I moved to North Ridge from a suppose to be a 5 star resident. It is not even a one star. It is awful. I love North Ridge, could say nothing but good about this place.

I have lived here for 2 years, and Northridge is my home, and the staff, management and residents all welcomed me so I feel "at home." I keep busy and enjoy the outings and activities. The facility is lovely with many windows, porches and patios...and three very good meals a day! I recommend!

We are impressed with the facility, the activities, and the staff. Having been here for a month we have already joined in the activities and look forward to our future here. No more worries with a home just relax and enjoy our retirement years. I would highly recommend other seniors look into the facility while you are still able to enjoy this new lifestyle!

As I say to anyone asking my opinion of Northridge. "Welcome to Paradise."

My home away from home. What a great place. something to do during day. Meals are great. Games, games and more games.

We looked at a lot of places before deciding on Northridge. I love the unique design. But the thing that stood out to me was the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I like that the managers live on site, and there are so many activities. Everyone can find something to be part of regardless of age and physical ability. I love Northridge!

Staff is friendly and ready to help whenever and whatever. The building and grounds are beautiful! Food is very tasty and menu options offer variety. Love my apartment and all that was done to make my move from home easy and comfortable.

People who live here are very kind and helpful. They are fun people!!
