Everything that we covered on the ratings scale have definitely exceeded our expectations. All our family are very happy with all that we have here, my mother is doing much better than she was before. She is happier, healthier and much more adjusted than prior.

My husband [name removed] and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment at Capitol Ridge. The Staff went over and beyond to welcome us there. We were also pleasantly surprised to see how much extra space is available for all residents such as a library, television room, billiard room and even a movie theater. On one afternoon we attended an informational happy hour in the spacious activity room and on another afternoon a July birthday party which was followed by the magnificent performance of an Irish dance group. Meals are not only a culinary delight but also provide opportunity to socialize with the residents. Needless to say that we miss this wonderful place but it is good to know that a place like Capitol Ridge might be available for us to live there when we will have to downsize.

We attended their Carnival yesterday, which was our first visit. A beautifully maintained facility, both inside and out. [name removed] showed us a one bedroom apartment with spacious balcony, kitchenette with full-size fridge and storage. Lovely dining room and common areas, including billiard room and library.

It is an older building so you cannot except it to be pristine, but they do a really good job keeping the community clean and our loved ones apartment was cleaned to our satisfaction before our loved one moved in. The management during our loved ones stay were very gracious and helpful. Every time we needed something they were always willing to listen to us and fix the problem. Their meals program was fantastic, they would always encourage families to come, visit and have a meal and it was $5 for them to do so. Our loved one was not always able to participate in the activities but they did have a number of things going on and she really loved listening to the entertainment that would come and perform music.

She is making friends Staff is good, some inconsistency with changeover but is getting much better with time and consistency. Meals are improving but have been getting much better than at the beginning. She is thriving now after some adjustments.

I would recommend you check the community out for your loved one to see if it is a good fit. The warmth and caring nature of the directors is amazing! The staff communication with the family is excellent, if we have questions or concerns. The food is bland and it would be nice to see more seasoning available for the residents to use. There are three meals served a day to the residents.

There has been a change in management, so there is a new couple in training right now. They have always been very good to my mom though and she seems to love it here. The only thing I could say is her little yard could use more maintenance but other than that it is great. Her place is always clean and everyone is super welcoming. The activities director has wonderful things going on for the residents. Overall it has been a good experience.

I liked Ivy Creek a great deal. It was a very nice facility with a big, elegant dining room. It didn’t work for my loved ones primarily because they felt it was too big and glamorous. They prefer a more modest setting. But I liked it a lot.

Great place for independent seniors.

This community was very nice when I took the tour. The rooms appeared to be smaller than I imagined, and had a formal feel to the community as a whole.

Mom loves living here. Doesn't ever want to leave. Warm, friendly, welcoming environment by staff (all) and residents. Activities, meals, library. Quick response from maintenance - anything you would like done in your apartment.

I had a virtual tour with Stone Lodge. The lady that I was working with was super nice and I actually liked the facility a lot. It is independent living and my son made the point that if I needed any type of extra care down the road, we would have to up and move again. That is not what we wanted to do so we decided against Stone Lodge so we could find a place that had continuing care.

We are thrilled with Linwood. The food is good, al though I feel like the menu could use a little work (needs more selection). But the dining experience is great. They make everyone feel very special, a true fine dining experience. Overall we are extremely happy.

Our loved one was only there for a short time but it was a very good experience. With all things considered and other communities in the area we did think it was a very good value for the money. Our loved one said the meals and dining service was very good. Even though our loved one did not participate in the activities they did have plenty to offer. Based on our overall experience we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and while it was a really nice tour experience it was just a little bit older of facility and we ultimately left the decision up to our love done.

I toured Willow Creek Gracious Retirement Living and it was very nice; we even put a deposit down. We ultimately had to change our mind because our loved one wasn't ready for full independent living. We were right, as her level of care & needs declined shortly thereafter.

It is a good community and my loved ones are enjoying it here. The community provides housekeeping for the residents rooms. The dining room is nice and beautiful. It reminds you of a dining room you would find on a cruise ship. The staff are wonderful to work with.
