It is a beautiful building, great amenities in a very good location. the sales staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered and I was also sent in the right direction for help with finances.

important to me was cost and saving steps. Have had knee surgery and aren't as steady on my feet as I would like. Getting to the various venues didn't take long at all. Even being on the 2nd floor wasn't an issue becuz of that. Cincher was having my rent frozen for 2 yrs and not having to pay the community fee. That will give the CDs I plan to obtain from sale of my house 2 yrs to mature/increase my income.

I’m touring 4 Independent Living facilities, The Palms was my first. I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of living that The Palms offered. The building was impressively clean, and a comfortable feeling when we walked in. [name removed], the Community Sales Manager, was very helpful in explaining rental rates, room sizes, etc. it was a pleasant experience, I got all of my questions answered. Since this was my first of 4 tours, I don’t know which facility I’ll choose, but The Palms will definitely be in the running.

The managers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the facility. We got to eat lunch with the residents and the food was amazing. We talked with at least 20 residents and they all seemed to love the place. We ended up choosing this facility for our uncle.

Beautiful property, however, out of my price range. Would love to live here if I could afford it! Maybe I’ll find my true love who will bring me back to this community!

Clean, attractive public areas. Art work in the hallways with each floor and wing having a different mood or theme. My studio apartment and balcony are spacious with big windows and a beautiful view. Activities are well planned and diverse. I can do water aerobics in a 92 degree outdoor pool six days a week year round. There is a culture of mutual friendliness among the staff and residents.

Initial impression is very positive. Friendly and warm people. We are visiting other communities, but this one is definitely on our list.

5 to all! The staff is great and the food is excellent! Rooms are nice! Great place to retire! I definitely would recommend this community. They are great for the seniors. Many activities. Movie theater, 24 hour coffee bar, ice cream station and sandwich and snacks always available. Also a place for mom was excellent. They did all the hard work for me. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for senior living.

All 5. The place is fabulous. My mother loves it there. Everyone is so professional, easy and warm to deal with, and the pricing is very competitive. The residents are treated with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend the Highlands.

A good place to investigate as a possible residence. My wife and I are not yet ready to live where all meals and housekeeping are included in the rent. Expecting one air conditioning unit to cover several rooms separated by closable doors might be somewhat of an overreach (the bedroom has a separate heating only unit). The dorm size refrigerator would not fit with our lifestyle. My wife would be inconvenienced because the building has only one small elevator (she is somewhat mobility challenged). This facility seems to have friendly and courteous staff. Adequate activities seem to be provided residents.

What we like the most about the community is the social aspects and that as you get older you need help doing things and there are people willing to help you out. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

It was a great experience. I got a real feel for the place. The staff was so nice to me. I was shown everything from various staff members. It just felt very warm.

Had long interview with Marketing, comprehensive tour and lunch with 4 residents who highly praised the facility and said they were very happy there. Marketing Managers (2) responded well to all my prepared questions and were certainly aggressive in pursuing my moving in. I was offered a "deal" I "couldn't refuse". I was also introduced to several other staff members. I received courtesy and a Marketing Manager escorted me to my car at the end. Prior to the visit, I had scheduled 6 other facility visits. I only kept the 2nd two days later (just to note comparison and feel confident in my decision). I cancelled the other 5 facility visits and DECIDED TO MOVE TO SYCAMORE RIDGE. My only regret was that in order to receive "the deal", I had only TWO WEEKS TO MAKE THE MOVE. Still, I'm happy to go to Sycamore Ridge Friday of next week. It has all the amenities I'm looking for.

The staff and residents were so kind and considerate. My dad had a studio which was perfect for him... unfortunately he became very ill within 2 weeks and passed away soon after.

The facility is Very clean, welcoming, tons of activities led by the activity coordinator, to enhance residence(s) memory, mobility, occupational and physical therapy. Truly an exceptionally safe place to recover and live an enjoyable fun lifestyle. Very diverse, outings and faith/family friendly. The staff is very friendly, know each resident by name, preferences, interact with residents and the family and very caring and accommodating. The food is very tasty and the chef will do his best to accommodate your taste buds and there is always other choices to accommodate I spent quite a few days there getting my dad accustomed there because he came from NY and this was a major relocation for him. The family that makes this move will not regret it.

The administration was easy to work with and very friendly and accommodating. The pricing was very attractive and the facility very clean. They just need to improve their meals.
