When I first walked into Cypress Springs, you notice the smiles on the residents. They appear to be happy and engaged. The Dining room is a great place for the residents to socialize. They also have Happy Hours and entertainment often.

5 for all. Seriously, it is such a nice place. And we are locked in for 2 years. Great food. Activity director is friendly and welcoming. The staff lives on site. They are very responsive. The facility is well maintained. There is a five-star chef. There is so much to do your parent will have to choose between activities. Also important - medical is on site. It is a tremendous value for your money. They could use more staffing at meal times, but this is nothing they aren't already aware of.

They have a good variety of food but my Dad said it is hot or miss on how good it taste! Breakfast is always good though! The staff is very friendly and it is always spotless when I go there! My dad has adjusted very well and for that I am very thankful! I would absolutely recommend them to others! They gave many activities and outings planned each month! They have a beautiful kitchen that families can use to cook a special meal for the whole family to enjoy! The movie theater with popcorn maker is adorable!

The Southern Pines organization is great, very friendly and so helpful. I would not have found the facility without A Place For Mom help. When it comes to the activities they have - Movies, bingo, playing cards, prayer group-Bible study, painting class, different socials(ice cream, popcorn etc) trips to various places in the town, they have bands, singers to entertain. There is a gym facility, activity room where they make different things. CNA services, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist. There is a nice library, a chapel with services.

I have been here 2 months and I love the place! It is very clean. I have made a number of new friends. The staff looks after everyone. I know all of the managers and they are present in the dining room at meal times as well. The food is also very good. If you want a peaceful location and things going on all the time, this is the place.

We loved the clean bright facility, and loved the fact they were a perfect place for transitioning from independent living to assisted living, which gave the residents a choice of services (dining, housekeeping, shuttle, activities) that hey wished to use. My parents were reluctant to accept assisted living options but LOVE the people, the place, and feel safe.

Paloma Landing was the perfect find for my mom as a senior residence. Her apartment floorplan is spacious and the facilities are well-maintained, bright and sunny, and easy to access. The services are all-encompassing and mom will tell you that the food is some of the best she has had anywhere, especially the homemade soups prepared by the chefs. The residents here are a diverse group of individuals with fascinating life experiences that help fill her days with engagement and community. Best of all are the community managers, [name removed] and [name removed], who genuinely care about each individual resident as though they are part of their own family. From running activities to managing staff to taking time to know each resident by name and how they take their coffee, their dedication to making a difference others’ lives is evident in everything they do. Staff and the facility were very accommodating for my mom. One evening she was tired and didn't feel like going down for dinner .. so they brought it up to her apartment! Very accommodating getting her apartment ready for her before the move in as well. Everything we asked to have done was handled. They had various sizes of apartments. I don't recall the exact # of sizes/shapes but after looking at 4 or 5, we found 1 that fit my mom's needs. It came with a kitchenette and had a good amount of storage space. Also had help alarms though out the apartment.

Everyone there has been very helpful to my friend that is there, they have gone over and above to solve every problem that she has had. I would highly recommend Ashwood Meadows to others.

The tour experience itself with Magnolia Heights was great. The reason we did not choose this facility for our loved one was because we did not like the fixed dining times that they had for the residents. The apartments there were also pretty dated. It was just not the right community for our loved one.

I would definitely recommend to others. It's like a family and we have lots of activities. I picked this community, because it was affordable, friendliest, nice ambience, and, closest to family.

Desert Springs has been great in all aspects. The staff were great, food was good, and the self serve ice cream and popcorn went over very well. A lot of well planned activities and great facility. I felt the price for what was offered was good. They also had a care service on site if needed.

I have enjoyed living here at the Heatherwood community very much. What I like most is that the staff is very friendly and helpful with everything

When it comes to the activities I wish they had yoga or Pilates. I haven't needed care. Management is great yet new. They need to pay attention to the upkeep of facilities. Was disappointed that the room hadn't been checked as the toilet wax dirty

Facility/Staff: Lovely/Friendly/Helpful. No complaints. Building kept immaculate. Apartment sizes/amenities: Alright. Surprisingly, now charging for light bulbs. Also the annual increase $$ cost prohibitive. My Momma [name removed] could no longer afford it. She has returned back to NC.

5 on everything it is just wonderful. And management is so concerned and prepared to help senior citizens. I just love it. By the way they gave me several incentives and I'm only paying $240 a month more than I was at the nasty assisted living I was at previously, so it is so so perfect for me. And they also started building the pool which I know was a concern because they weren't sure whether there was a pool or not. I will rave about Osprey to anyone. Its wonderful. There are about 50 places they own and we can stay for free with 3 chef prepared meals a day at any of them.

After my initial contact with facility I have not been visiting on regular basis so my experience is limited. The staff was so helpful and sympathetic to the situation I brought to them. The apartment size was adequate for my friend's needs. Can not speak to amenities as I am not sure what she has.

Mom is a very picky eater and she reports that the food is delicious and she really likes the chef. The Managers, [name removed] and [name removed], are very hands-on. They serve coffee at the noon meal and take time to check-in with residents. The staff is very caring and appears to genuinely care about the residents. Mom fell while doing laundry and they responded immediately to help her up and then checked-in on her. I would not hesitate to place someone into their care.
