Harmony at Brookberry Farm is still newer and they have somethings to figure out, they do not have a ton of help but they are trying their best. We do think once they get more staff things will be better. During our loved ones stay they did take really good care of our loved one and we would recommend them to other families.

I think they took care of my parents well overall. The facility was very nice inside. But I think we would have enjoyed a smaller community, even though Harmony isn't at full capacity yet. Even so, they're understaffed. The nurses are great, but I feel like the higher up administration needs to be more present. It's a pretty corporate environment. Everybody was nice and said hi, although established residents were a little slower to warm up to new residents. It seemed like they had a lot of activities. It would likely be a great place for the right person, but if we had to do it again, we probably would have sought out a smaller community.

Our loved one are happy with the activities, they love that they have live music and entertainment often. They have met a lot of residents who are very friendly, and the facility itself is very nice. However, the meals are not what our loved ones consider up to par, and when they go to the dining hall they have to wait awhile before being served. The house keeping only comes for about 20 minutes and barely cleans so we have had to hire an outside cleaning service. Also, the response time when a residents uses the emergency cord can be a long time which is a concern to us.

We chose Harmony at Harbour View because of the affordability as well as the convenient location. The room sizes here are adequate for her needs. The staff members for the most part have been very receptive to what I have had to say about things and been accommodating. I would probably recommend to others looking.

The communication of the community could be better and their covid plan could be better also. When we needed some help with my loved one we were not able to get it due to my loved one having covid. I would have liked to see some type of a plan to assist residents that had covid. I would recommend this community to others

I feel like they are doing a good job at trying to keep residents safe. I feel the food has been good from what we have had, but lately my mom has been complaining and said other residents have been too. I do think they need to have more variety to better accommodate dietary needs. It has been hard to visit our loved one because visitation hours are only during their business hours for set times, so it is hard when you have a full time job. Other than that, the size of my moms room is big, it is a well kept facility, and the staff have been very accommodating with our family. Overall, I would recommend them. They are trying their hardest.

Dinner is iffy--sometimes fine, other times cold or slow.

Family BEWARE!!! Complete "bait & switch" & ZERO communication between departments of care giving. Moved my 92 year-old mother there 3 weeks ago from a different assisted living facility knowing memory care would be needed within a year or so. "Residents get preferred status".... After FOUR DAYS the calls started that she needed memory care. Please note: we had hired home health for 5 hours a day to help with the "transition trauma". They insisted we have extra help 12 hours a day!!! We're at day 28, $15,000.00 later & they dropped the ball COMPLETELY!!! I definitely would not recommend!!! It's a sad situation to watch your parent decline soooo rapidly because the proper care/protocol was not given... Avoid The Crossings at Harbourview! They have too many issues to work out to be reputable.

This is a new community and there are still a lot of empty apts. My mom really likes her apt and she has her furniture all set up so it feels like home. The staff is really friendly and attentive. I have been talking with the director about working on the lack of activities, adding evening events like bingo and cards to help bring the resident out of their apt and get to know one another. My mom likes being active and interacting with her fellow residents. so it has been hard for her to meet others. Mom does enjoy going to the dining room and she likes the food.

The staff here did a very nice job showing us around, and they did take their time to answer all our questions. This is a lovely community and there seem to be a lot of amenities here for their residents, the lay out is nice. We just felt that they were a higher priced compared to some of the other communities we had seen.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken at this community for my loved one. The staff where friendly and made sure to answer questions we had for them in detail. They had a nice floor plan with lots of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right budget in the end decision.

The Village on Pheasant Ridge was nice but needed some work. When i was shown the rooms, i noticed they needed a lot of repairs. The flooring in some rooms was lifting and the walls needed repairs. The maintenance could do a better job at cleaning.

This is a brand new beautiful community. It was a little to expensive for us. The staff I met were nice and answered my questions.

Several snaffus in the beginning. A new Director and a new Nursing manager have arrived and are "cleaning house" to replace the slacker staff. It is clean. Some staff are very friendly. Dining room staff seem like they are just going through the motions. Quality of care needs improvement. Emergency pull cords and on-person emergency buttons have gone unanswered for 30+ minutes. Administrative staff has just tuned over and seem to be actively trying to improve things. Food is reported as good with minimal complaints. Not sure about the activities. I haven't seen many advertised. We actually got a partial refund for the first month because mom's meds weren't picked up for weeks, maintenance was unresponsive and she still needs her own private aids for now due to staffing issues.

My sister is in memory care at Harmony at Wescott. I am concerned about how clean her room is sometimes. I believe she eats pretty well and the food is okay. The other day, they couldn't find her glasses. Also, they didn't have her ready to leave with us and called ahead. I believe my sister is safe. I believe she eats, and receives her medication when she is scheduled to. I believe one of the biggest issues is assessment and placement into appropriate level of care. Then open and timely communication. Changes were made to care level without proper notification.

I only am there at weekends. We provide all snacks, protein drinks, toiletries. Sometimes her floor needs swept. I brought a push sweeper to pick up dirt on the carpet we put in her room. If we are visiting the staff does not stop in to take her to the dining room for lunch or dinner. We must make sure they are serving the meal and take her to the dining room. Most the time they give a sandwich, not a hot meal for dinner. The staff is nice to mom and calls me when she has an incident with anybody there. The clothing is labeled with her name but clothes coming back from laundry is mom basket even with someone else's name on the garment. With the snacks there one week and totally gone the next week, don't know if other residence are eating the food. I am not sure if it depends on the nursing and staff who is with mom, if they give her more drinks and snacks and that is why some weeks she runs out. If you ask mom if she wants ice cream, Graham crackers, cookies, etc she says yes she wants something. If they do not ask, she does look for food. The nurses are concerned she is losing weight and not eating and walking constantly.

My overall experience has been disappointing. The aides do not seem to care about the residents, sometimes my mother's room is too cold and dirty. They do not open her blinds so she can get sunlight in her room. Clothes, bedding and other items are missing from her apartment. They do not adhere to request for laundry and [name removed] separation even after I provided more than one laundry basket. I plan to move my Mom before the end of this year.

Very nice facility and appears to be well maintained and clean. Good size apartment with bedroom, bathroom with shower with a built in seat, living area and small kitchen with small refrigerator, sink and microwave. They have a multitude of activities but our dad is wheelchair bound and has only participated in a few. He has several ongoing medical problems which we are trying to systematically address so he tires easily and doesn't hear that well. Food is not good - his words. Breakfast is generally good however lunch and dinner are not good. He will routinely opt for soup at lunch and many times passes on dinner. This is a problem given seniors need to eat. Staff is generally caring and responsive but there have been a few times when there response has been 45 minutes or more when he needs toileting assistance. Also, some just do not properly transfer an elderly patient and thus he has become reluctant with some to go to the toilet or shower. We have expressed our concerns and they are actively working to correct these issues. I do understand they've been approved for 2 or 3 more aides so I'm hopeful that will decrease response times.

Harmony has been presented as an assistive living facility. The level of activities and opportunities to go out into the community are a definite plus. Apartment options are great considering living space and accessibility. However now upon entering, the appearance and accompanying scents are more like that of many less than superior nursing homes. While there are some dedicated staff, there are equally as many who provide only minimal services. The relatively recent change in management has come with a change in the delivery of quality care first experienced. There are many residents who would seemingly be better suited for nursing home level support. Therefore, quality care for all has declined as more residents require higher support than that which may be considered consistent with that provided in an Assisted Living Facility. The increase in residents has not been accompanied by increases in the number of qualified staff. Further, while meal options are often varied and tasty, we feel it is very concerning that dining options to account for residents living with diabetes and elevated levels of cholesterol and/or heart disease are not available. Harmony is not the same place we first encountered a little under a year ago. Very disappointing!

The facility overall won us over in the tour, however there have been issues with medication management and communication. Process and procedures felt elusive and slow to be shared. I expected transparency and that was not fully my experience. I want to continue believing in this location and see our loved ones happy.
