Harmony Senior Services

When it comes to the meals and dining - they have been through a few food services directors since my Mom moved in. They need more training in running services at dinner. It was definitely a good move and a good fit for my Mom. She has been doing well. Active in the community and taking advantage of the services available. Our family is happy with our choice with Harmony.

I am thrilled that my dad is in the care of Harmony at Tucker Station! My dad entered Harmony requiring the care of their Memory Care community. After 2.5 months, with managed medicine, PT and OT, and 3 fabulous meals a day, my father’s physical and mental health significantly improved! And Dad knows that he has improved. The meals are VERY GOOD. Just like going to a nice restaurant with fresh fruit appetizer, menus, and wait staff. I know many of the staff by name AND THEY KNOW ME and dad of course. They communicate with me when needed or asked. But they do not overwhelm me with the day to day care…they handle that. The staff, well put simply, are very special people. Their patience & support is unmeasurable it is so immense. The activities offered are super. The accommodations are stunning. I am 55 and I want to move in. I am thankful every day for still having my dad around. And I believe this is greatly due to the staff at Harmony at Tucker Station. Many…many Thanks!!!

My view was a big reason for moving to Harmony. My living room and balcony look out at the Asheville mountains. No matter the season, the view brings joy and peace. There are numerous activities. I can choose to participate in those that I enjoy, including book groups, discussions on current events/ideas, knitting, plus, classes or groups for exercise, yoga, meditations, journaling, coffee chats, etc. Harmony's driver takes residents to medical appointments, the grocery store, and other errands, plus, a weekly mystery ride around the county. As I am on the one meal a day plan, I can choose which meal, usually, evening. A la carte is also available. The staff supports us here, whether it's our concierge, house keeping or maintenance. I love the gym!

We moved my grandfather across the country to be closer to family when his Alzheimer’s worsened and the Memory Care Unit at Harmony has been wonderful for him. The facilities are beautiful, clean and bright, and the staff goes out of their way to care for the residents. They serve them with a smile and treat them with kindness and respect. There is also a wonderful community within the families and residents of the Memory Care Unit, and it’s been an added support to our family. We are so grateful we chose Harmony for my grandfather!

Harmony has met all our expectations. From the tour to moving our loved one in was smooth. The Nurses and Caregivers are great. I can truly say that everything from care to food, more than meets our expectations.

My parents moved from the Washington DC area and are settled at Harmony. My mother enjoys bridge and my father enjoys the journaling club. They watch movies in the theater and participate in all of the social gatherings. The nurse aids are kind and go above and beyond! It’s a peace of mind for our family to know they are tucked in, happy and being cared for at Harmony.

My Mom moved into Harmony at Reynolds Mountain January 2020! As I look back, at what was the strangest time for everyone, the lockdown of Covid! My Mom was just getting settled into this “NEW” Independent Living environment meeting new friends, learning her way around the beautiful facility, enjoying Dinner with her new found friends! Then 2 months into it, BAM ??, she was quarantined to her one bedroom apartment! Meals were now delivered to her room, no meeting of friends without a mask, everything changed almost overnight! My Mom being 79 was not a fan of change, as many elderly people are not! I watched as the Staff at Harmony joined together to help bring some routine back into my Mom’s daily life. They social distanced and limited the number of residents in the morning exercise class, Wednesday Wine down, Movie theater, etc…… At such a strange & scary time I had a piece of mind knowing my Mom was being cared for and in the best place for her! Thank you Harmony at Reynold!

From the moment we stepped out of the car we saw residents laughing, smiling and visiting with one another, some out in the warm sunshine and others in an exercise class. My father-in-law was the first to notice. He said, “People look happy here”. We were greeted by [name removed] who was very warm and friendly. The Director of Sales met with us and spent the next 2 hours or more sharing information and showing us apartments and areas of the facility. She wanted to know us, but more importantly she wanted to know my father-in-law. She truly cares about the residents and their happiness and well-being. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The apartment was extremely nice, spacious and clean. [name removed] continued to support us through the process and was always available by text or phone call. I cannot put into words fully what this has meant to the family during this transition.

My mother is a resident at Harmony at Morgantown and everything has been great for her. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is adequate for what you pay for. You can hire an outside person if you want more things taken care of. They call if there is an emergency. They also offer medical alert buttons and have pull cords in each room in the independent living community.

I have been impressed with the facility and the staff. They have always kept me up to speed with everything that mom is going through. They have been more than helpful when dealing with her insurance.

[name removed] was very helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns when we transitioned our 97 yr old mother into Harmony at Martinsburg. The staff has been very kind and welcoming to her. Although it's still a big change for my mom, it's nice to know that she is being well cared for at Harmony.

This Harmony is so amazing. They met with our family and explained everything to us in detail. Mom was able to move in quickly and now we know she is in a safe place and has so much fun meeting with her new friends. As long as she is happy we are happy. And she is happy!!!

The reason we gave the meals and dining service a 4 is only because our loved one was a picky eater. I can't thank the people at Harmony for y'all that each and everyone did there while mom was there. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I have only been here for two months but I’m very impressed with the staff and services that are available and are very extensive. The grounds are well maintained with an ample number of rocking chairs and lawn furniture in the outdoors area there is a large outdoor cooking area. There is ample space for parking if the residents have a car.

My loved one was previously a resident at Harmony at Southridge and the experience was great for her. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff, care services and meals were also great. However, it is very expensive. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

My loved one was previously a resident at Harmony at Greensboro. The staff seemed to be short handed. There were only emergency pull strings in the bathroom and bedroom, none in the kitchen or den. The price seemed to increase as time went on. It was hard to reach some people at times. Other than those, we really had no issues. I would recommend Harmony at Greensboro to others if they can afford more than 7+ k a month.

My dear friend decided it was time to give up home ownership and move into an Assisted Living facility. We reached out to several but thankfully decided on Harmony. He was quite happy and enjoyed his new life here. However age caught up with him and was hospitalized and not a good diagnosis. All he wanted was to go home to his apartment at Harmony. The care, love and compassion showered upon him, myself and his family was truly a blessing for all. Shortly after his passing I decided I too wanted to give up homeownership with all the responsibilities. I phoned Harmony and made an appointment with [name removed]. My daughter was impressed and happy with the facility and friendliness shown by all. I moved in on [date removed]. Again, I was welcomed back by staff and resident friends I had made previously. I have never looked back and am very happy and content here. I am going on 92 and am still active and am blessed with good health. I strongly feel this is where I need to be.

I visited Harmony at Chantilly to tour Independent Living for my in-laws. The Director of Sales I met with was so informative and positive about the entire process. It was so nice to see that they offer so much excitement to seniors day to day living. We really wanted to move my in-laws here but my sister-in-law convinced them to move to Florida to be near her. I enjoyed my visit here and want to share that it is a great option if you are looking for senior living.

Harmony at Chantilly's Independent Living is a true gem! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I toured the facility, the sales team knew exactly what they were doing; they were knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The community offers a wide range of activities and amenities, making every day exciting and fulfilling.
