Staff helped my father settle in and feel at home. Most of the staff are lovely. Some are better than others in helping him deal with his frustration at not being able to do things on his own now that he is feeling stronger. The only thing that I would add is that the 1x administration fees are high and weren't fully disclosed in the initial call.

Overall we were happy under the circumstances. Everything was always very clean. Most of the staff was friendly when engaged. If you didn't try to speak with them, you were basically ignored. My mother-in-law could be difficult but she was always taken care of very well. They were always very friendly and went out of their way to help when needed. She wasn't eating when she was there. They had many activities for the residents including the memory care residents. The best out of all the facilities we visited. They were supposed to reimburse us for some overages but never did.

There has been some administrative changes and we are trying to be patient and give things time to catch up. Most importantly is my dad seems to be very happy and as long as he is content we just keep a check on him and let some things play out.

We utilized the services of HarborChase of Coral Springs for respite care for my mom while the rest of mom’s caregivers took a European vacation. She was very comfortable and enjoyed the staff. She highly complimented the food and ate all her meals in the dining room. She had mostly good interactions with the other residents but mom is not a social butterfly and didn’t take advantage of the many activities as we hoped she would. Overall it was a good experience for her and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for either respite or full time care.

Caregivers are great, give good service food lately is not as good. Loves our PT team.

Just when we got used to the admin staff, they all left for a different new facility together and we had to start all over with a new exec director and staff. They do seem to be short on help often. Everything is relative to one's taste and liking. If I had to live my life out there, I'd be pretty content.

My mom spent only 6 weeks in another memory care unit at a higher price facility that sent her to the ED twice for agitation and “medication management”. This resulted in a 2 week hospital stay where she fell, was restrained, over medicated, developed an UTI, and massively de-conditioned. Following this, she spent 7 weeks in a geriatric psychiatric unit. She was well cared for started to walk again, and despite all meds being slowly weened off, she fell 2xs one time hitting her head, but at least this facility allowed her some dignity and ability to walk. She continued to sharply decline. Our family could not return her to the former high cost memory unit as their poor oversight contributed to all of her issues. Harbor Chase provided total care, allowed my stepfather to visit 2-3 times a day, and appropriately recommended hospice services. While I wish I could go back and choose Harbor Chase from the onset of her wondering my father could not manage alone, we are happy with the care.

I have recommended the facility to several people. While it was expensive, I felt they were doing their best to provide care. The facility was nice and they seemed to know how to help those there with the unique needs they have.

Friendly, nice, hardworking staff. Professional nursing staff has had some turnover, and contractors fill in. The turnover is confusing for my mom.

He was very happy there so overall it was a good experience. Unfortunately there came a point where it didn't meet his needs as he was very prone to falling so being alone in his apartment except for meals became unsafe. The current director, [name removed], was very, very kind to me and worked with me with the move out process, as I was doing everything myself and needed extra time. So I would recommend it based on their compassion for both my dad and me.

What we like the most about HarborChase of Naperville are that the people are friendly. I feel they can improve on communication and improve on activities for the memory care population.

My cousin liked the community and location. I would recommend it to others. I would like the meals to be more varied.

My wife is in memory care.

Laundry room needs to be kept clean, especially the screen for lint. Resident stated the screen was clogged and hard to get out. I have remember to tell waiter to give 1/2 the amount of food. Sometimes they give too much and gets its waste.

Still learning the system and direction around the place. Love lurking outside. Not interested in Bingo, prefer sport activities or card games.
