My cousin liked the community and location. I would recommend it to others. I would like the meals to be more varied.

My wife is in memory care.

Laundry room needs to be kept clean, especially the screen for lint. Resident stated the screen was clogged and hard to get out. I have remember to tell waiter to give 1/2 the amount of food. Sometimes they give too much and gets its waste.

Still learning the system and direction around the place. Love lurking outside. Not interested in Bingo, prefer sport activities or card games.

The staff at HarborChase of Madison goes above and beyond on accommodating residents.

Staffing has sometimes been an issue but is getting much better. Regular staff are generally great. Temp staff not always as good. I realize staffing is a nationwide problem but don't know if it's better or worse here compared to other facilities.

As an independent living resident, I describe HarborChase of Phillips as an all-inclusive facility...(rent, meals, cable, utilities, transportation, weekly housekeeping services, activities). There are also other amenities and outings that may have added costs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have observed the aides interacting with their clients with much care and kindness. The quality of the food varies. The move-in process was easy. I would recommend HarborChase to families that are looking for a facility that provides senior living.

What our family likes the most about HarborChase of Villages Crossing is the overall atmosphere ,environment and the food that is served for the residents. My dad loved the food and the outside areas. My mom loved the food and the Friday movies.

Essentially, nice place, good people but understaffed and unprepared to handle people that have fall issues. She fell several times, last time she hit her head real hard and ended up with a brain bleed. She spent the next few weeks in the hospital and hospice where she passed from the bleed. They needed more staff. Like anywhere, never enough $$ to have enough staff on hand. It is a thankless job and I assume very frustrating for the staff when dealing with memory issues.

The facility is very clean, and in a great location; right in the center of town, located near a pharmacy, a supermarket, and other shops. The staff, while very friendly, does not do a great job in communicating with the caregivers of the people in the facility. Included in that is management. The facility shows a lot of movies, but I don't feel a lot of them or ones that residents would be interested in They say it is a luxury facility, yet two of the three gas fireplaces don't work. I also had one instance where my mother was sick and didn't feel well enough to go downstairs for dinner, and they delivered her meals for the day, but they tacked on an extra charge for delivering to the room. Given the fee that we are paying monthly, I feel sly like that could be included. Granted, if it's every day that meals are being delivered then yes, probably should be somewhat of an extra charge, but I think if it is on the rare occasion when you're not feeling well, and just not up to going down to dinner I don't feel you should be charged to have the staff bring the meal to your room.

My loved one is a resident at HarborChase of Plano and everything has been very good.

My mother is in memory care at that facility . Almost everyone in that section is very nice. There are a few that definitely could be better. Sometimes when I go in there is an odor because a lot of the people in that section are in adult diapers. I'm sure that can't be avoided. The facility is absolutely beautiful and for people that are not in memory care I can't imagine something being much better. The section that is not memory care looks like a high-end hotel, and smells as clean as can be.

In general, very pleased. Staff is warm and very caring. Excellent food. My Mom loves the pretty dining room. Maintenance requests for things that need repair in the room are a bit of a challenge. Still working through the list. I rated overall a little lower due to maintenance delays. Otherwise, we are very happy with HarborChase of Branford!

overall a good experience

My overall experience has been positive. There has been large turnover in staff which leads to some feeling of instability. That said I have always found staff responsive to my concerns.

The HarborChase of Mandarin is a clean and nice facility, that is something our family likes a lot about the community. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families

HarborChase memory care was recommended to me by extended family. I sped time with my husband each day, usually at lunch and dinner. He came here during the recent pandemic, so we've witnessed the staff shortages firsthand. Here in 2023, more staff regularly in mc. :)

Major improvements is dining area, activities, decor. I am pleased with the upgrades.

It was an adjustment leaving my home and moving to a retirement community. I have adjusted in time. You have many new friends.

I would recommend.Staff is all very helpful.Very clean no odors.
