We’ve been very happy here for our mom. She tends to shy around from people and prefer to stay in her room. The activity director makes time out of her day to visit with her and play games with her one on one, we were blown away with her thoughtfulness! Nursing staff is generally good, sometimes hard to get through to them but administrative staff is wonderful and so attentive to the needs and wants from not only residents but for us family members to! It’s been a very pleasant experience here thus far!

I moved in for a short term stay about 60 days while I finished rehab and got stronger to return home. This was such a pleasant experience for me and my family during a time of uncertainty. The staff had me laughing and kept me motivated each day to regain my strength. The food is good, sometimes it could be warmer but no complaints. The new side of the building is beautiful is where I was able to stay during respite and couldn’t say enough good things about it! One of the things I miss most about the facility is the friends I made with staff and other residents! I would never hesitate if I ever need to return again!

This is a nice community. They have an older and newer part. The newer part is very big and open. There have been issues along the way; however, they have tried to correct the issues along the way with the family. Sometimes it is hard to get a hold of staff; however, when we do have time to speak they are good at trying to hear the family out. Singing hymns, walking, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents. The management were receptive in trying to fix the concerns I had about my loved one. They now have a fantastic nurse who is willing to assist the residents and families.

The staff does a good job of asking questions so they know what care is needed and then also let you know what they can and can't do. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Moved my husband in six months ago and am very appreciative of the staff and the level of detail and care they give him everyday. The facility is small but it gives you a level of comfort and familiarity when there. The management has been great and helps us through the process of hospice for my husband. I am very thankful I was referred to The Harbors.

Small and perfect community for my husband who is a 2 person assist and needing a hoyer lift. Their all-inclusive pricing is the best around! Beautiful community! Hidden gem.

Moved dad in 2 months ago. The staff is so friendly, very impressed with the COVID-19 precautions, and how well they have normalized and simplifies the new norm for families and residents. So happy we chose this community!

At the beginning stages of looking at cares for my mom. Toured this community and see the benefits it can have for higher care! We will be back when it's time to move mom!

It’s been almost a year now since mom moved in, I don’t write reviews until we have experienced the “honeymoon phase” and I can comfortably still say this was the best decision we made in the hardest of times. Moms care staff have been so nice and helpful. They continue to make her feel so special and loved. During this lockdown phase for covid, management has kept me and my brother informed on every level, the staff takes time to FaceTime us with their own personal phones if other tablets are being used, and sending us pictures of her so we still feel connected! Thank you to all the staff for all that you do!

Good choice for our dad, right off of 694 and university in Fridley which made it nice and easy to get too. Small and quaint and family like atmosphere. The chef makes to die for dishes, staff is very friendly and loving, they do a great job keeping the place clean and orderly. We are very happy we found dad his home here!

Overall we are very pleased with choosing Watermark. The staff take wonderful care of our grandpa. He is very happy and engaging when we come to visit. The food has always been excellent when we stay and join. His apartment is a bit on the smaller side and not a lot of extra space in the community itself, but the cares and food and company is what makes this place perfect for grandpa, especially with him having dementia and he doesn't need all of the extra curricular activities and spaces! We are very happy with Watermark!

Tour was good, staff friendly. There isn’t a lot of community spaces for dad to explore. Care over amenities is what’s important and dad is getting great care here. I do appreciate seeing everyone so happy no matter what time I come in to visit. Im very happy with my decision to bring him to Watermark

Beautiful building, but expensive. Wish they would come down in price. How can any afford years of this? But I guess the poor never will get an opportunity to live somewhere nice.

The facility is new so it is very nice and in good condition. The biggest thing that I was disappointed in was the friendliness of the care giving staff members. I have seen it get better since I have been there. If you are able to move around and go to the dining hall with the other residents, your experience may be better.

This was such a wonderful community for mom to come home too. We are forever greatful for the staff! Thank you to everyone for how kind and thoughtful you all are you truly made us feel like you were our family from day one! We love you all!

We chose this place because of the staffing ratio and how cozy the community felt. The staffing ratio for every 3 residents a care provider is provided. We couldn't find that anywhere, and with out small and cozy the community felt the wait times were almost non-existent! This is exactly what we needed for mom with the kind of condition she was in. She was past the stages of playing cards and dancing and our primary concern was the cares she was receiving and how fast someone could get to her room. We made multiple visits here before we made our mind up. we even came in unannounced just to see if indeed this place really did go as smoothly as the tour made it feel, and i am pleased to say...IT DID! The staff were so friendly and inviting. The nursing staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The administrator is so kind and gentle and doesn't make you feel judged when you walk in. The nurse is very knowledgeable and the food is superb! We are so happy with our choice!

We have our loved one at The Harbors. The care has improved a lot in the last year with better staffing of the CNA's and less shortages. Also there were new hires for some major positions, including Director of Nursing, and activity director which have had positive results. We feel our loved one gets good care and the staff really likes her! It's so nice as she feels loved and cared for.

The staff members were very nice, but some very important things fell through the cracks due to the lack of communication. Also when it comes to the meals we wish they would of been a little more accommodating and offered different options.

I would tell others to find somewhere else. My loved one is there for dementia and they have escaped at least three times that I know of. They have been put in the hospital because of dangerously low glucoses. Their room smells, horribly, and people aren't doing anything about that. I find my loved one very wet when I come and I don't expect that. I believe on some occasions, they don't change them for bed - they just let them sleep in the clothes they're in. It's also extremely hard to get ahold of someone to talk to.
