What we like the most about The Harbors Senior Living of Fridley is how friendly and caring they are. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Dad has been living here for almost 2 years now and we are happy with the harbors! The staff have been easy to get to know and work with, the activities have been great. I do wish there were more outings however but understand that it gets voted at resident council. The managers have been great to work with! We keep asking dad if he wants to move closer to us (we live about an hour away) and he keep saying no he is very happy here, and that makes our family happy!

Been a fun adjustment with getting my wife moved into the harbors and meeting good friends. The staff have been great to get to know and the building smells good and clean. My family have appreciated the efforts that the housing director provides and her time she sets aside for our family! The food has been great as well! I am happy with the harbors and what it has to offer for my wife

The transition from assisted living to memory care can be challenging, but the team here made it seamless and comforting. They attentively listened to our concerns and my mom's needs, ensuring a personalized approach in every aspect of her care plan. The facility itself is welcoming and beautifully maintained, creating a home-like atmosphere that immediately put my mom at ease. What truly sets the harbors apart is the staff's attentive and caring nature from their top management down to their housekeeper. They go above and beyond to ensure my mom is not only well cared for physically but emotionally too! We are impressed with how personable this community is and informed they keep us on everything.

The management here are nothing short of amazing. Their genuine kindness, patience, and professionalism have made my brother feel right at home. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, fostering a warm and supportive community. What truly sets this facility apart is the personalized care they provide. My brother has specific needs, and the team has gone above and beyond to accommodate them, ensuring he is comfortable and content.

I think we could use more nursing here short sometimes when you need them. It's nice having people here to socialize.

Moved mom in about a month ago and can say we are all very happy and content with the cares and meals here than the other 2 places mom was at prior. Staff are great to get to know and appreciate their love they have for our mom! Management has been great to work with and quick to respond to any questions we have!

We picked them because of the size of the rooms. I would recommend to others.

My dad and step mom moved in about a month ago and we are very pleased with the community. They just got finished decorating for fall and it’s gorgeous! Staff have been wonderful to work with and are always there ready to tell us how they’re doing when they see us in the hall! It’s a small enough community for all the aides to know them on a personal level! We are very happy with the harbors! The DON and the executive director of the building have helped us in so many ways with the move process to get them in and high demands we have had!

Had the pleasure to tour this community this morning and it was a great experience, she answered all my questions and helped me get everything I need to get dad moved in this week! She has been great to work with and very knowledgeable. The director of nursing has been great as well I am at ease knowing dad is coming here. His room is great! The chef was preparing lunch while I was here and got a chance to see what they were serving and it looks very appetizeing, love all the snacks in the community room as well its a nice touch for the residents!

Our sister has been a resident here for alittle over a year now and we couldn't be happier with her cares here and over all experience so far. We do wish the rooms were a bit larger, but aside from that the staff and management have been an absolute pleasure to communicate with and keep up to date on our sister. The director of the building is a gem and stays in close contact with us, the main nurse has been great and truly cares and the kitchen makes wonderful meals! Our sister has a VERY complex medical case and weren't sure we could do something outside of a nursing home, and this facility has proven itself time and time again! Thank you for the great care and attention you give to not only our sister but our family!

What we like about The Harbors Senior Living is the staff. The staff are great with getting my parents involved in everything. I love seeing their pictures on social media involved with the other residents!

We have had dad here for about 1 year now and are very happy with the cares my dad gets! The staff had some turn over in nursing but it has been pretty consistent lately and they have been great to work with! The director and director of nursing are great to talk with and keep me updated on any changes happening. I am very appreciative that the administrator gives her cell number out and takes calls on weekends. It has calmed alot of fears of mine. The food has been great as well I am overall very please with this community!

We moved mom in a few months ago over Christmas week, it was a very hard decision as just weeks before she was living her best life at home independent. Due to a fall and a stroke she has forever changed. The staff here accommodated our family with a evening weekend tour, the director met us on site and took over 2 hours with us answering all of our questions, even got the nurse on the phone to help answer medical questions. We looked at 2 different rooms and the director helped us measure each room and decide which one would be perfect for mom. When we left that evening we were followed up with the most sincere email and call two days later asking how we were, never asked about renting the room just that she was thinking of us. We felt so comfortable with her and the other staff we met that evening we decided to move forward it felt right! 2 months later we are so happy with our decision, mom is happy, she has made some great friends! We are very happy with our decision!

My mother chooses not to participate in activities and she's not eating much either. Based on the experience we have had so far with The Harbors Senior Living, we would recommend this community to other families.

It took us forever to find the best place for mom, we had a list of our top 5 and everytime we kept coming back to the harbors that really stood out! The resident testimonials and dining with the residents was nice to experience before deciding. We felt the attention mom needs and deserves would be best suited at the harbors. We are thrilled with our decision!

I've been a resident here at The Harbors in Fridley, Minnesota for 15 months. When I first arrived it was a very tough transition for me. The friendly caring staff was patient & helpful as I slowly adjusted to my home away from home. It was, however, the new Activities Director who was able to get me out of my room & participating in activities. She keeps us busy with live music, dance school performances, bingo & Daily craft and game events. We have a Resident Council which has improved communication between the staff and residents that's resulting in many positive changes. The Harbors has a lot to offer any personality.

Mom and our whole family are extremely happy she is living at the Harbors! I could cite many reasons why we feel that way (e.g. the caring friendliness of staff, quality of food...etc.) But here, I'd like to highlight one of the main reasons we're so pleased- the Activities Director, [name removed]. She organizes a wide variety of fun and interesting activities. She brings in high-quality, outside entertainment for music, arts and crafts, road trips for lunches at special restaurants, games and the list goes on. She does this all the while encouraging, uplifting and befriending the residents! No longer does Mom sit in her room alone. She participates in virtually every activity, has several friends and truly enjoys living here. Thank you, [name removed] and the Harbors' staff- It's great having Mom "back!"
