My dad has been here for a good 6 months now which I feel like is an adequate amount of time in order to deliver a fair review. My experience is every time I come in, it always smells nice and looks nice. The care staff is nice and helpful when I ask questions. I've dined with my dad a couple of times and the food is always good. My dad always talks about the food. If I wish to dine with him it's only $XX [amount removed] a plate which is very reasonable. Overall, I would recommend the Harbors to anyone wishing to find a community for their loved one.

My family has been touring for a place for my great aunt with dementia. We have toured several communities this week and were pleasantly surprised by the Harbors! It has such a fun environment! First thing we noticed was a festive decorated bulletin board with all of the fun activities and LIVE music coming in. It really set the tone for the tour! We were very impressed to say the least, looking to book as soon as we are ready!

I love it here! the food is so good and I love my room overlooking the courtyard! The entertainment is definitely the best!!

Appreciate all of their accommodations they made for my family and I getting mom settled in. They have gone above and beyond for what we have asked.

Blown away by how attentive the staff have been for dad. He’s a jokester so I’m sure that helps and he doesn’t ask for much but thrilled to hear him say how much he enjoys his time here and feels like he’s at home! Food has been his favorite and activities have been eventful! We appreciate the staff and how much they have relieved a lot of stress for our family when we tried to find the perfect place. We feel we have found it!

The food has been so good for dad, he came in from spending close to 3months in the hospital and lost a terrible amount of weight, we are so happy to see he loves the food and has gained his weight back! He said it taste like actual home cooked meals and staff have always been great to talk too! They have a very big courtyard that dad goes out too and enjoys the sun and fresh coffee in the mornings! We are happy with finding this community for dad and his needs.

I lived here for 3 months now and love it! The activity director has been so great to work with and the entertainment they bring in is such a treat! The food here has been so wonderful and flavorful! I feel great living here! I wish we had full kitchens in our apartments but make due. The staff have always been friendly and make time of our their day to visit with me! Management has been great as well from nursing to administration! I recommend this place to anyone!

We can say as our dad has lived here for almost 3 years now that The Harbors has been the best choice for us! Dad moved in on a low care level and with this nasty disease of Alzheimer’s he continued to decline and with each new change of condition the nursing staff were on it! They keep us informed, they make sure dad has everything we need and reached out to outside help to offer us help and guidance so we could learn more about Alzheimer’s on a deeper level. The staff has been wonderful, the turnover has been high with care staff but that Is expected now a days! The administration staff have been so wonderful to talk to, they help us with every request and really make us feel like we are family, the activity director is wonderful and they have new activities daily to help stimulate dad and others! They do such a great job with everyone. We love it here and it is the best choice for dad!

We moved Mary in around [date removed] and are content and happy with the services she is getting. Nursing has been easy to talk with and admin and food are fantastic! The transportation they offer has been a god send to our family! We are pleased with our choice to move forward with this facility!

This was a great experience and the staff were wonderful. They provided great care and I don't have enough great things to say. I would highly recommend this community. the person that was staying here had a unique situation and they rose to the occasion of everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this community for you or your loved one if the services are needed.

We moved my wife in back in [date removed] right before Covid hit. I can tell you that through a pandemic, construction, and life happening this community kept my family and I informed, educated and at ease through it all. We never worried about her as we could talk everyday, emails to the families weekly and my wife thriving through it all. Thank you to everyone who is there helping her and everyone else have the best care and attention. We are fortunate to have found you!

Moved dad in about a week ago and we are taken back with how great these aides are for him and the other residents. One aide in particular stayed over an hour after her shift helping my mom unpack my dads belongings and made sure everyone in our group had supper. The nurse truly cares and is so soft spoken, the director was a delight to work with and guided us through the whole process flawlessly. We are looking forward to a great relationship with this community and our dad.

My 86 year old dad suffered a stroke in January 2022. He was living independently before that in Wisconsin. We had him at a great hospital in Madison - but candidly, they gave up on him. Once the staff there ran into roadblocks - they just left him in his bed 24 hours a day. I need a place closer to me (in the Cities) and was referred to The Harbors by a nurse friend. I also used St Croix Hospice to help accentuate care. I was - and am - very impressed by the facility, leadership (particularly [name removed], head Nurse) and the nursing staff. My brother has been to many different facilities through his work - and by far Harbors was the best according to him. The nurses were constantly working with my dad, bringing him down to meals even if he wasn't going to eat. They were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my dad suffered another stroke and passed peacefully with family at his side. I highly recommend Harbors for any loved ones.

My mother moved here 3 years ago, we have always been so impressed with how caring everyone is and how my mother feels so happy and safe here. Unfortunately mom passed away last month, but we as a family are so happy we chose The Harbors for mom to spend the rest of his life at this facility. The food is wonderful, it could be a bit hotter sometimes but the atmosphere and loving staff make it the best place to be! this is a wonderful community to move into!

It has been a very unsettling time for loved ones trying to find a place during the pandemic, we chose the harbors because of how small and personal it is and couldn't be happier. The director is always checking in on the residents and the nurse is available 24/7 for questions big or small. The food has been wonderful. Only thing I wish we could get is more activities but understand the pandemic has voided some of them. The community is beautiful and the care staff are pleasant.

I am pleased to say mom has lived here for 3 years now and the care and attention she gets continues to outshine ear after year. The renovation of the community is beautiful, and we are so thankful for finding this place for mom! Staff are wonderful, nurses truly care about mom and the lines of communication from front desk to nursing are exactly what I had hoped for!

The food has been amazing since we have moved in. It feels like down home cooking straight from moms kitchen! Our sister is happy being here!

Very nice facility, the staff have shown a lot of Compassion for my wife and my kids approve of this facility. I am pleased with our choice to move mom in.

It’s been almost two years now since we moved mom in. We have been through the covid lock down, construction, outbreak, and survived it all while living here at The Harbors. We can honestly say, that this building and it’s staff were wonderful! The nurse kept us up to date on everything since we could t see mom, the aides are so attentive to mom and spoil her by doing her hair and makeup and help her just feel good about herself still. The activity director comes in on her off days and will play games with residents, the chef serves home style food and I can add mom has gained some weight while living here which is good! We are very pleased with the care and services we get here and would recommend this place over and over!
