[name removed] the executive director is extremely responsive to any complaints or issues that arise, so if you are placing your loved one in here you should have no issues at all bringing anything up to her, she will address things immediately. The Harbors is a very good place and I would recommend them to others.

Great community for my mom she needs a higher care level than most assisted living facitlies can offer, this place was able to offer that while still feeling like home and family! The food was wonderful, the staff was so professional and kind and loving. Going home at night after visiting mom I feel at peace knowing she is in good hands!

We had the pleasure of moving mom in last year to Watermark, now that the "newness" has worn off, we are pleased to say that the community, staff, food, activities, etc have not only stayed the same great way but have continued to excel in excellence! We have never had a worry after leaving mom from a visit. They keep us updated, everyone knows our mom from the residents to the staff, thats just a benefit from being a smaller community. It really is like your second family! The food is to die for, the staff are so welcoming and calming. Our family is so pleased with Watermark and cant say enough good things about this community. If you are looking for a place where mom or dad can come, be a part of a family atmosphere, and you as well...leave from a visit never having to worry...then Watermark Senior Living is where you need to be! Perfect size for a family/home like feel! Mom has received the best care here since she has moved in, which she has been to two other communities and we finally found Watermark to meet and exceed our expectations. Thank you to Watermark for all of your help during this transition!

Both the director and the lead nurse have been very approachable and very helpful.

There is only one elevator which does cause congestion at meal time. Staff is very friendly, they all know every client by first name, and readily match visitors with client to provide info. Activities director reminds one of the Energizer bunny, she has something going on all the time. Concerns or complaints are addressed immediately.

She is happy at this facility. I have recommended it to a couple of people who mentioned their parent with dementia. I haven't heard what they chose. She says her meals are good / stagg take good care of her / cost is good. Some staff say hi or smile, so I would say they are friendly. I think her room could be cleaner as well as the elevator.

I think I would suggest that they look around.

The Harbors is a lot better than the last place my mom was in. However, the communication is spotty at best once you get into the facility. Showers are not often enough (my mom went over a week and her hair was so greasy it looked wet). We aren’t told that she needs more supplies until she’s completely out, which is frustrating. There are things I like too, though. I like that she has her own room to decorate. The place is clean and modern looking. A few of the staff that works with my mom are fabulous with her and there are other staff that don’t even say hi back when you pass them in the hall. But my mom needs 100% care and it is provided at The Harbors and overall I’m happy with the place.

Our families overall experience so far has been pretty good - management can be slow to respond. Our experience is atypical as mom was only there ~3 weeks before passing. Yes, for a more inexpensive memory care I think they are a reasonable choice.

We took a tour of The Harbors Senior Living of Fridley during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility was good, we had a good tour. The cleanliness and friendliness were good, also.

Overall, good experience with the Harbors of Fridley. My father was only there a month before he passed. He was bed ridden so we did not take meals in the dining area or do activities so my ratings reflect this but I know the offerings were there. Overall my only concern and issue that lead to rating a 4, was the lack of communication from the facility on care, prep, follow through, schedule etc. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the community to other families.

We went with this community, because it was picked by the hospital. The staff is trying their hardest. It's a close location and it's convenient. Everything is going well. I would recommend to other families.

It was a good experience overall during the brief time my loved one was there. They were short-staffed, but the staff they did have seemed nice. And I liked that with their pricing model, everything was included. That made it a good value.

This is a newer facility with a spacious patio. There are many amenities. There's always something to do, thanks to our creative activities director. A recently established residents council fills the communication gap between the residents, staff and our executive director, [name remove].

Food is pretty good. Nurses are nice. Other staff is pretty good. Love the weekly movie and popcorn.
