The staff cares. They are good at communicating with me about my mom's needs. They are in tune with the residents. The room sizes are pretty standard. The food is okay. They have a path around the building and limited outdoor space.

The food is good. There are not many residents there so the activities are very limited. I think it will get better when they have more residents but at this time they do not have the activities they told us they wood. They do have some outdoor space.

Very nice facility, and friendly, helpful staff. Made us feel very welcome.

Very nice and small enough for my mother. The price was a little more affordable than the sister location of the Cascade, however price is a major consideration for my mother.

Very nice and a bit too big for my mother with 268 units and 300 tenants onsite. It would be a bit over whelming for my mother.

My mother is in the memory care unit of Vista Veranda. Just the right size area for her needs. They are always staffed with at least 2 aides with an extra one helping though. Dinner and bedtime. Very helpful. The administrative staff have always been so helpful, kind, and caring.

I met with [name removed]. The facility was clean and bright and open. It had a good feel. Nice common areas. Unfortunately only the smallest studios are currently available.

[Name removed] introduced us to [name removed]... one of the residents here who is also legally blind. The studio room is more spacious than [name removed] would most likely put to use and we would like to arrange for [name removed] to provide a bed/nightstand or maybe a small visitor sofa to minimize the amount if furniture we would need to move there (she has a recliner up north she likes - but not much more, other than a swiveling shower chair) We plan to take [name removed] here as soon as her husband is buried for an assessment and to get more detailed pricing information. Whenever that takes place, we will inquire about wait list and estimation of move-in availability date.

The pricing chart for each individual support services is very high. It is very difficult to keep a person for a long time in this facility due to the high cost of services needed.

Very elegant. Great first impression. One of the few we saw with inhouse rehab. Seem to be lots of activies in the assisted living area.

Studio $2870; 1 bedroom $3430. Religious services onsite; beautician. good food; outdated decor, too dark. Majority of reviews praised the staff and food but a few complaints about darkness and update needed.. ASSIISYED LIVING ONLY.

Friendly staff, I am satisfied with the level of care that my mother receives. Brookdale keeps me informed when it comes to her care and to any changes that they would like to initiate. I do not worry about the level of care that she receives now. I could not make this statement about the last place that we had her in. I have piece of mind now concerning her care.

Nice clean environment. Did not appear to be overly populated, but not underpopulated. Not close to downtown was good in terms of lower traffic - no police sirens going off. Also the staff and food menus, activities seemed good. Price seemed affordable as well.

Lunch was good, the facility was clean and odorfree. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was accommodating of our food limitations. There is parking at the door of the independent living apartments as they are on one level. There are lots of activities and the surrounding area has a lot of outdoor activities.The apartments are on the small side and the 2 bedroom has only one bath.

I visited the Brookdale on Monday. The 1 bedroom apartments have full kitchens, all have balconies, pets allowed. 2meals/day. Independant and assisted living available. grounds pretty and many activities each day to choose from.

I went on a tour of this community and the staff was super nice. They answered all of my questions. There wasn't much availability. I didn't like the set up it was a 2 story building. And they had a set time for meals and that's just not my dad's style. It was nice and clean. Just not a good fit.

Of the three so far, this is the farthest away. Average price, more businesslike than homey, good answers, people seemed happy, two floors-elevators concern me. Good deal option for deposit. Nice rooms—Much larger than Elmcroft. More bang for the buck but less friendly. Could get on list for deposit and open till January.

We looked at other communities but we chose this one was because they are strictly memory care. I feel good about mom being there because I know she is getting taken care of well I don't have to worry or stress over it. She is doing as many activities as we can get her to participate in. From what I am being told she is eating at every meal and seems to be enjoying the food. Every time we are there the community and her room is clean and well maintained. The staff is good they keep me updated when necessary they are open and friendly.
