Overall the staff was friendly and very helpful. Communication could have been improved, and I think some more monitoring of health conditions could have been better. Lynette with A Place For Mom was instrumental in helping us understand everything and she spent a lot of time speaking with us about what our needs and options were.

They were nice, each Brookdale had their own thing to offer. It's a little larger of a place, 2 or 3 stories, with elevators involved. I didn't want my mom to have to try and navigate that. It's a lovely place.

Facility has really nice studio rooms for AL seniors. The rooms are bigger and have a small kitchenette. Price range was lower than many other places that had smaller rooms. The facility is clean and the staff friendly.

He was in for less than a month, but couldn't go back to Clare Bridge because of the type of chair that he is in, he is in a geri chair and needs either a couple of people to get him up, or a lift since he no longer walks. While we were there, it was very good, it is a very nice community. The facility itself is a little nicer facility. He had his own room, like an efficiency apartment type thing. We were happy with them, and the staff all seemed very nice and conscientious.

It is a nice place. Comparative speaking, the pricing is good. My mom is in independent living, and I think that they over-advertise the availability of the nurse service. They say that there a nurse on call 24/7 for the independent residents, but they weren't always available. My mother has a lot of complaints about the food, but we ate there several times and I thought that the food was good. I think that it was a wise choice. They have physical activities, movies, bridge, and water aerobics. They do things outside of the center like going to dinner, shopping, and church services. There is always a full schedule of activities.

Lighthouse is extremely too expensive for their services. It's outrageous. They were charging $1000 more than the other places we saw. It was clean but it was more of an apartment kind of thing rather than buildings with apartments and common areas in a community setting. Lighthouse was more just apartments.

Very nice place. Looked and smelled clean. Studio and 1 bedroom apartments were roomy and had a kitchenette. Basic cable TV service included. All the common areas were well kept. Staff was friendly. Assisted Living section had 1/20 ratio of caregiver/resident. Room price range was lower than some of the other AL facilities.

With one visit to the website, followed by a speedy response call, A Place for Mom was able to guide us to five places nearby to meet the needs of our family and 93 year old grandmother. We quickly narrowed our search to Emeritus. The resources helped us stay focused and after several visits and preparation, she is now receiving additional care and much needed socialization. We will continue to learn and grow with the Emeritus team on communication style and preventative wellness measures, but are in general are quite pleased. The community is clean and the staff is pleasant and accommodating. Based on our own research, referrals, and reputation, we feel confident that we have chosen the best location.

My wife was there for about three months. She had glaucoma and her sight was very limited. If I wasn't there to feed her, they wouldn't feed her. They said that it's an assisted living and they expected the patients to feed themselves. However, because of her sight she couldn't see the plate or find the food so I had to be there to feed her. That was the only real serious complaint I had about them and the food wasn't that great either.

This is a very nice place. I liked the apartments but very few people walking around. It seems they stay in their apartments most of the time.

Mary Jo was a wonderful, down to earth tour guide. Mom seemed to feel comfortable about being able to continue an active social life at this place. More formally routinely organized activities

This is a Brookdale, fairly nice facility about 30 minutes from us, one part is independent living, one area is assisted living. One story building so depending on where the unit is can be a fairly long walk.price depends on location. Fairly nice 1 bedroom, all are light with a storm door to an outside patio. They are redoing the bathrooms as units are vacant to tiled walk in showers. 3 meals a day, weekly housekeeping, all utilities. In house OT PT physician and nurse practitioner. Only 1 main meeting place beside the dining room. 1 bedroom 560 square feet with separate kitchen area, range 1920-2025.

My niece toured this facility and really, really like the staff, atmosphere of the facility and activities available.

Very nice clean facility. Staff were all very friendly. I got the impression that this facility was for clients with more care needs than Mom has right now.

They have a dedicated memory care only area that we really liked. They have access to outdoor space in memory care where the residents can go outside without having to worry about wandering away. Some of the staff at Peak View had also recommended it.

Nice place, good location. Smoking area on porch might be a turn off.
