Everything about Concord Place is great. Only wish there were locations like it in NW Indiana too! Very accommodating - you can see and feel the personal touches of the staff.

I would let others know that there are professional staff members throughout the facility. The Director [name removed] has been very helpful in assisting with the initial application, and later on with Medicaid applications as well. This facility is in a great location too! There do not seem to be many activities provided to the residents. I would definitely recommend Victory Centre of River Woods, I have also recommended them via other online surveys as well.

My mother was a resident at Waterford Estates Senior Living and everything was great for her at this facility! The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and quality of care are also great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The only complaint I have so far is the wait staff in the dining room. Most of the time they are rude and impatient. I dread asking most of them for anything. It's like they are being bothered. I feel bad for some of the residents on how they are treated. It's not all of them but most are like that. There is a couple of them that are just great and accommodating. I have had to wait a half hour to 45 minutes just to place my order while they stand around chitchatting. Just because these people are elderly and most have a disability it's wrong to be treated like that. I have only been here for 4 weeks and pretty much like it better than I thought I would. It's just when it's time to eat I dread it. This is a big adjustment for me. The rest of the staff and other residents have been very helpful. If the dining staff wore name tags would be nice. Not all of them are so rude but most are. They shouldn't be working here. Every other area the staff have been great. Housekeeping, if I need help with anything they have been great. I have a problem with my hands and if I need help they are here right away. I just need to know who to ask when I need something. I have asked 3 times at the desk what jewel the bus goes to and no one knows. I want to transfer my medicines to a jewel near by. I had to drive out to oak lawn yesterday to get my refills. We are going to be selling my car but if I can use the bus it would be helpful. I'm not familiar with this area. It's close to my daughter so that's why I chose it.

When we toured with Concord Place, it was not environmentally pleasing. I do understand that they have done a lot of renovations since we visited. It was also a lot more expensive than my friend was able to afford.

We were so thankful to find this place because we had no idea of where to put my mom with their help. We found the grand Regency and she has been there about two months and couldn't be happier. Thank you for all your help. Our experience has been very good.

I would rate quality of care 1 million if I could, they are so amazing!! The cleanliness rating isn't something Concord could do better... it's truly the few residents that sometimes have bad days and such... but Concord does a fantastic job of jumping in with support whenever they find a resident in need of help, care and support. It's totally understandable that all areas cannot be spotless. Concord is conscious of quality and care. Activities dad might rate a 3, but I think it is because he is just not beginning to "fly solo". I have been a little "hover-ish' as he is adjusting. Value is HUGE! Another million on top of 5. We are truly grateful and amazingly blessed to have him here. It's a strain for our budget but worth every single penny! Just such a wonderful home!!! I think others should know that Concord Place strives to be a "forever home". It's a safe and loving place for our families. Everything in Concord is designed to ensure residents have the freedom and flexibility to age with dignity; to have choices, support, and be able to "take part in life". It's even its own voting precinct/location. An amazing group of humans from the staff to the residents!

Waterford Estates is a friendly place, and the food is good.

Concord place is clean, safe and very comfortable. The staff here is friendly and helpful , very supportive for assisted living . There are programs all day and most evenings too, plenty to keep busy with. The rooms are private and clean. Each day there is a great selection on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and many healthy options. I don't think I can say enough how friendly and helpful everyone has been and really made me feel welcome and at home.

I would say you won't find a better bang for your buck in Dupage County. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay there! It is an amazing place...with such great amenities included. They re-did the activity room upstairs next to the barber shop. You have views of the city, a fireplace, full kitchen and alot more. The staff was really helpful, especially [name removed]. I wouldn't go anywhere else honestly. When you look at the building driving by on the interstate you would never guess how nice it is on the inside! I actually could say alot more than this. One thing is my Dad was on the veteran floor...what an added bonus. They have a activity room on this floor also. They have a wonderful pool too. It used to be a hotel.

The facility is very clean and the staff is amazing. My loved one loves the food and enjoys the activities that are provided. She likes meeting new friends. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Concorde Place has been great all around. The staff really try to work with us, and everyone has been really nice. They're really friendly and involved with the residents. The wait staff in the dining room and the dietician are very nice. [name removed], the admissions person, was great. They gave us vouchers to try food in the dining room for free when we were touring. They just go above and beyond. There's somebody at the front desk 24/7. If a resident pulls their emergency cord, they make the appropriate phone calls immediately to get the resident help. They're currently remodeling, and what they've done so far has been really nice. They've taken out carpeting in the common areas and put in laminate flooring. They redo the apartments when somebody leaves. The building is a converted hotel, and the apartments are actually very spacious with lots of room to move around. There is new tile in the bathroom and luxury vinyl tile in the kitchen. The walls are freshly painted a nice bright color. They put in new Berber carpeting so there's less chance of tripping/falling. My mom is thrilled at how nice the place looks. Her neighbors are friendly and come and talk to her. When she moved in, Concord Place sent a welcoming committee to help her adjust. She's really enjoying it there. She's in a picky eating stage in her life, but so far she hasn't found anything she doesn't like. They serve two specials at each meal, but then they also have a general menu with about 30 common items that you can order instead. So there's really something for everyone. The portions are a little smaller, sized appropriately for elderly people. And I appreciate that the meals are well balanced. There are a lot of activities going on, especially now that a lot of the remodel is done - things like Wii bowling, bingo, puzzles, etc. They have a library, a movie theater, and numerous TV areas. There's a small swimming pool where they hold water aerobics. And they have workout equipment and classes. We like seeing people up and out of their rooms. And my mom is excited to gradually get more and more involved. It's also cost friendly for people who don't have a lot of money. Utilities and meals are included. They provide a phone for $20, which is cheaper than what the phone companies offer. We only have to pay TV/internet. And if she does run out of money, they told us they would help us fill out the Medicaid paperwork, and she will not have to move to a different apartment. Which is a huge relief, especially compared to polices we encountered at other places. Concord Place costs about half of what other places in the area are charging yet has so much to offer. It has been such a pleasant surprise.

My mother just moved in and is loving living at The Grand! Her apartment is beautiful and clean and she loves the food! They have lots of activities going on and the staff is so friendly. We made the best decision for us and you won't be disappointed. Lots of good things here!

The community is wonderful. The staff are great to work with. They sometimes have a difficult time cleaning the common areas with the seniors that drop items on the ground often. The resident's rooms are cleaned weekly and they look great. The meals are good and there are choices for the residents to choose from, from a menu. There are activities available for the residents to participate in if they want.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience, it was a secondary choice, the price was a little cheaper but the location was not going to work out for our loved one

One of the deciding factors for choosing Concord Place is that they have 3 meals a day 7 days a week which was huge for our loved one, we fell in love with the menu and our loved one is pleased with it overall. She says they have a lot of variety to pick from. They have great opportunities and different things for the residents to do - just the other day when we came to visit they had an ice cream social in the lobby. Comparing it to other places the value is reasonable, and the location is close to our family. They have quickly gone through their remodels so everything just looks amazing and beautiful. We would recommend this community to other families.

I would rate the first 1 as a 5 the second as a 4 and the last ones as a 5. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. They were very attentive and if ever I had an issue ( which wasn't too often) they addressed it immediately and efficiently

Our experience with Concord Place has been good so far. They have a lot of staff available to assist with the residents' needs, and are willing to assist with extra support when needed. This is a nice place to retire to. The community is in the industrial area, so there is not a lot to do outside. It would be nice to see some walking trails available for the residents to utilize and to spruce up the grounds the community sits on.

Very helpful staff. Management is great also.
