The studio apartment is too small. This may be an option down the road when more assistance is required, but not now.

It’s a lovely facility. Everyone is very professional. I’ve never seen anyone be nasty to the residents. My sister and I ate at the facility for the Mother's Day brunch. It was very nice and the food very tasty. My loved one likes the food. Parking can be a problem for visitors especially for quick visits or picking up the resident. The day my loved one moved in, we weren’t really greeted. We didn’t know where we were going or who we should talk to but then my sister was just transitioning from a rehab facility and perhaps they dropped the ball.. The only other concern is the billing – I have to have an invoice to submit to the long term insurance provider and getting one takes a reminder or two but then it has only been 3 months. It is a very lovely place though.

The CNA service here is excellent, my Dad can be a difficult man to work with and they did a great job with him. I was also very impressed with the activities staff here, although my father did not participate. We ran into a lot of frustration when attempting to communicate with them. They were not very responsive in general. We had to really hound them to get any answers to questions or feedback regarding care.

C said her friend doesn't like to eat in the dining room because people fall asleep in their food.

I got to the front door and they were pretty crowded... on the outside its beautiful, it looks very serene, comfortable, like they'd be able to go out for walks when the weather permits. However, like all of them, once you get in the door you're in the dark basement somewhere. I just don't get why they don't let them have light, people thrive off of light.

The facility was clean. Our tour guide was informative. My cousin felt the facility was to big for her liking and didn't care for the location.

Public events (prof.wrestling when I was there!) in top floors; guests use same elevators as residents! Security concerns!

Large hotel that was renovated recently. Food was really good, clean environment, residents appear happy. Truly independent living. Mom would need to be responsible for eating and socializing. A little only 9 miles to Marshalls but she would have to drive through Maywood.

This place was nice but I just didn't get a good feeling from it.

$1150 studio includes 3 meals per day & maid. One month security deposit. Assisted living on site.

Lovely, a feeling of spaciousness. Price is too high. Few units with kitchens. Will not allow dogs.

They do not have locks on the doors and she did not mention "memory secure". I have also heard about staffing issues since they are new.

Spoke with the marketing person a few times. Said he would be willing to get Mom and bring her their for a tour.

Pros: Interesting place, 1 bedrm apt adequate. Menu ok Cons: cleanliness?, large facility-could father navigate with blindness?

Mom was here for over a year. This is a very large facility with very little staff. I would avoid if your loved one actually needs any care.

I am not as impressed with the staff as I expected. they don't keep up with the clients like the should if the clients don't get around easily. cleaning crew not as good as Brookdale.

Some staff at this place is very friendly and some will paint a picture to think they are but watch it. I notice the staff meaning cna are over worked and they are always short on shifts, the carpet is dirty in hallways and rooms and the place is very hot sometimes. Ive also heard and seen this building has bedbugs...... many many reported cases of bedbugs, do your background history before you put your love ones there. Ask around to people that stay there they will tell you.

Mom thinks the food at this community is ok. They do not offer an orientation or a meet and greet with a new resident. There is a fee to have a nurse escort your loved one to and from the dining hall. They do offer some daily activities, however they do not communicate these very well. Her room is nice they keep it and the community clean. This community just does not seem to be working for my mom.

This is an older worn out community. They did let us know that they were going to be doing some remodeling. The community seemed clean and the person we spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable.
