My loved one is a resident at Town Village Tulsa. I would recommend this facility to others.

The patient services contractor, AdvisaCare, is not very good. Everything else is okay. Overall I would recommend the facility, as long as additional services are not needed.

My loved one got kicked out. I don't blame the facility however but our experience was a little tainted. I would recommend it to well behaving adults.

Items: 1, 2, 3 are a 4 collectively. Item 4 is not relevant due to the nature of our population "independent living" however, the staff is very aware of all resident's weaknesses or challenges and try to stay cognizant of their needs. Rate this as a 5. Item 5 is somewhat different there are quite a few times that food items shown on the menu are not available or are in short supply and run out during a meal. Item 6 has been great -- a 5 we have had an Elvis impersonator 2 weeks ago and the Jacksonville Symphony's string quartet appeared last week. We have weekly Happy Hour each Thursday with a disc jockey for a 1-11/2 hour show other activities are introduced ad hoc such as balance training etc. this is a 5 for item 6. I Item 7 Value I feel the all inclusive price is great because we have no surprises. this is a 5!

Care & food did improve. The management does listen and will improve the issues (if you talk to upper management). Make sure they are certified and or trained properly to assist for certain conditions. Like my mom was wearing a back brace after a back up operation and they were unable to put this brace on properly and none of them said they had ever been trained.

The staff ( aides, housekeeping, activities director, and food service) are all friendly and helpful. The cost was reasonable, but now prices have exceeded cost of living.

We are enjoying Portside, the staff that deal day to day with my parents are wonderful, kind, empathetic. While the medical staff are good, they are not easy to get ahold of so I haven't enjoyed that as much. The front desk people are wonderful and nice with my parents, the dining room staff have lots of patience! We have enjoyed the food here, surprisingly. The homemade soups are very good. My father is dying, but we will be keeping my mom in the same lovely two bedroom unit. It's large and airy.

Staff members are nice and the facility is nice as well. My only issues are that the lighting in his apartment was dusty when he moved in. He is in a handicapped apartment and in a wheelchair but has a top load washer. We asked for a front loader when he moved in which was late October. He never got one.

They do a great job with housekeeping. Friendliness is Outstanding! Everyone always smiles and say hello every time I visit. I would have rated quality of care one a 3 but once we got our own offsite doctors and pharmacy (which was horrible and frustrating), they are doing well with the remainder. According to my sister most of the food is bland and hardly ever served hot enough. My sister tried bingo until she realized a number of residents cheat at it. She doesn't do arts &crafts and was doing the exercise class 2x weekly until she fell and cracked two ribs earlier this month. My sister has lived there for [time frame removed] and her rent is going up 5.5%! Her last facility had a cap at 4% so this surprised her. She is irritated that they have satellite TV instead of cable; currently can't watch anything on ABC as they are in dispute with each other. Earlier this year it was the same thing with NBC. She complained to the director but he said he can't do anything about it. She much prefers cable.

The Sumter Senior Living community is very nice, very clean, quiet and spacious. Our loved ones room is very large for the money - also vs the other places we priced. We would recommend this community to other families.

If you are looking for a place for your aging parent, look no further. My only wish is that she would’ve moved in a few years earlier. Everyone there, from housekeeping to marketing is welcoming and genuine.

I am currently a resident at Woodhaven Village. Overall, things have been good for me at this facility. I would recommend Woodhaven Village to others.

Easy to get along with. Caring for residents both assisted and independent. I toured other places and felt comfortable in the environment and like the ranges of living costs and expenses.

It’s very friendly place to live. The staff is very good. My cat loves it here too!

I like it very much, everyone is so nice and keep busy, it’s great! Been here 6 years.

It’s very comfortable, lots of activities going on. The staff is so friendly!

They run specials occasionally. They have some long tenured staff. They communicate to the families about events and updates on the residents. Chef that prepares the meals. They do off site trips for meals, bowling and other things. Have access to medicine being provided to the residents through a 3rd party and medical care on site. Overall, it has been a blessing having my dad there.
