The facility is very clean, especially the memory care hall. The staff are very kind to the residents and treat them with respect. The therapy staff is very good. They rooms in assisted living are a good size for single rooms, but are somewhat cramped for doubles.

The staff here is very friendly. Right now they're going through some changes from the top down. Everyone is working to make things easy for the residence during this time.

I am currently a resident at The Shores at Clearlake and the experience has been good for me overall, so far. They do seem to be short of help in the dining area a lot of the time. But overall it is a nice place. I would recommend The Shores at Clearlake to others.

Overall, there's not one bad thing. It's just that they're terribly short-handed.

It's been very positive. The staff have been very friendly and always helpful. Have responded in reasonable time t o our maintenance requests. The meals fairly good. Some better than others but I understand that happens. Personally I need to eat gluten free but I'm doing fine. Staff is quick and willing to check any food item I question. We feel that our choice of The SUMMITT has been a good one.

Staff is really friendly. The place is clean and they are always looking to improve. There has been a lot of kitchen staff rotation and a struggle to staff a new director after the prior one retired but I have not seen any issues. Activities are good but not always suited for dementia residents. Senior Nursing staff is great. The newer aids or nurses are not as thorough. The cost has gone up 10% in a year! That does seem merited but there has been inflation.

Most of the staff at Town Village Sterling Heights are friendly - however turnover is high and consistency should be better. Housekeeping is good and fairly reliable. Meals are good and variety is good, too. Service in the restaurant should be better. Rent went up $300 or 10% this year - unsure how long we'll be able to stay if these rate hikes continue.

I would tell them that overall it is a great place to move your loved ones. I'm not too happy with the billing and accounting part.

It was nice that there was always someone at the front desk entry . Most were pleasant. A few seemed bothered to at their job, overall it was a decent place though! It is a great price and location.

I chose it initially due to location. When they were fully staffed, things were good… They just went through a huge turnover of people which made things difficult. My mother passed away last October so I don't know how it is now. I don't really have much more to add. There was so much turnover while we were there that often they were understaffed or didn't have a Director or you name it…

The staff are great to ALL the residents seem to really enjoy all the activities. The staff that do stay (there's a huge turn around) are TRULY amazing. The activities they do are excellent- and the outings they go on, and people they bring in.

The caregivers are all very kind and thoughtful. There could be more activities that involve people rather than television. Such as "work outs" have someone doing it as an instructor rather than a tv program.

The friendly atmosphere and attitude of the staff is what we like most. The lack of following the schedule of activities and including activities for residents who have better health and memory in order to keep them active is probably our biggest concern. We do understand that part of the activities are based on the current residents.

PMC is a very nice place. It’s got wonderful grounds to walk. Mom’s favorite place is the porch. There are at least two activities daily, but should be constructed towards those that can and those who need more help. It took her a long time to find people that would actually talk to her. They were very cliquish and I guess that’s part of the disease. Fortunately she just decided to talk to them until she could speak with them. She has a couple of gripes however. Mom is hearing impaired and the staff will tap gently at the door if at all and open it. We understand the checks are important, As her room and bedroom are one and the same, she would like a change to cover up. I give a hard rap, crack the door and call out, “Mom, you home?” If she doesn’t respond, I open the door wider and call again. Just common courtesy. Our final gripe today is coffee! There has never been a meal that coffee wasn’t served. Now she gets none even for breakfast, it’s asked for but ???

Very nice facility with a great staff that makes their residents feel at home. My only complaint is that their on-site care company is not very quick to respond to my mom when she presses her life alert to be escorted to meals or when she needs assistance. We have not had any major issues yet, but it doesn't seem to be staffed very well. They do have activities for the residents to participate in if they wish. My mom is liking the food too although complains that service is slow due to lack of servers during the breakfast & lunch.

I would recommend this facility to family or friends. Everything is a little better than I expected. Food is good quality, menu varies and they recently started an always available menu which has a large variety that we can order from in addition to the regular menu. Staff is great. Transportation to local stores twice a week, 2 days for Doctors appointments, one day to different restaurants and the Rivers Casino. In house non-denominational church and transportation to local Catholic Church on Sunday. Rapid response for maintenance requests.

Most of the staff are wonderful! Even though the housekeeping is short staffed, they do the best they can with what they have. It's kept up. The housekeeping supervisor supports her staff and fills in as much as she can. Communication with the family can be very limited unless someone is in assisted living and needing a nurse a lot. Even that can be sketchy. The families need to do their part to make sure of communication. The quality of the meals is getting better. There is a food committee that any one can participate in regards to the dining. Dining room staff is also short handed. The move in process is easy. The room for improvement really depends on paying the 'lower end' staff enough to keep the turnover rate lower. Too many good servers find better paying jobs elsewhere. I definitely recommend this facility.

From the very first phone call everyone was so pleasant and understanding. They listened to what we were looking for and explained everything this community offered which turns out to be exactly what we needed. Freedom to do what you want but at the same time offering many services and activities! I would recommend point pleasant to everyone in need of finding a place for mom and/ or dad that aren’t quite ready for a nursing home but just need a little help with everyday things. Plus, The social aspect of it is life changing ! The only reason it’s not a 5 star review across the board is because the meal plans could be better, it’s NOT bad at all but there is definitely room for improvement.

Frequent fun activities. Staff is friendly but often seems stretched thin. The building environment is clean and pleasant. I would recommend Brookdale Bartlesville South to others looking for assisted living.
