Other than a few issues which have popped up recently things have been great overall! My parents absolutely love it here, they really enjoy how busy and active the community is! There are so many activities sometimes they leave their apartment in the morning and don't return until the evening. They say it is like a cruise ship! However, they have recently had a lot of turnover in their kitchen staff, and both the quality of the food and the dining service have suffered for it. I'm hoping the decline in dining quality is temporary, because otherwise this place is great!

The day before moving in and the actual move in day were filled with last minute paperwork that I needed to send them by fax and seemingly being not quite prepared for my father's arrival, even though they had set the date and time for us to move in. Care, however, has been excellent. The staff has helped Dad transition easily and are extremely attentive and caring.

My mother has lived here for a few years. The overall experience here has been overwhelming. The staff is amazing. They are so kind and caring to all the residents and visitors. The dining hall here goes beyond anything we ever expected. From the fantastic homemade soups they make each day, to the many choices for each meal to the homemade desserts served daily, it's hard for the residents not to gain weight. The number of activities held daily/weekly are to numerous to list. Their is always something to attend. Plus a movie theatre where great movies are shown daily. The Halloween party is over the top! This is listed and advertised as an independent living facility but the care given to residents goes far beyond any facility I have ever seen! I have slept so much better at night since my mother started living here knowing she is safe and well cared for. My husband and I look forward to the day we can move in.

We recently moved our mother into Brookdale/The Seasons of Northbrook and couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. First, the facility is beautiful and inviting. The environment is just like being at home (only better) and it was clear all the residents we encountered were very happy there. The entire staff, starting with Sales Counselor, Jeff Altschul, is professional, caring and attentive beyond expectations. This is a top notch senior living community that anyone would be proud to call their home.

I do not know how I will rate this after I have been there a few months. The movers are here today to move me in. All I know is that The Churchill is very expensive. It better be great.

Camelia seemed to be the best choice for me. Its nearer to my son and as affordable as any I was able to find. They have a lot to offer.

We like the place, we haven't really moved all of our stuff in yet. It is very nice. They are a good size.

I toured several different assisted and independent living facilities before recommending this one to my mother based on the main factors of location, price, cleanliness and dining. After touring this and one other facility, she agreed with my recommendation. Shortly after move-in she began to need personal care due to a change in her health and she very much likes the services she receives from the ComforCare personnel (at additional cost). The Town Village and ComforCare personnel are very personable (and observant - they will notify you if they see a change in your loved one's behaviors in case you might not be aware). Mom participates in some of the activities provided by the Town Village staff and also utilizes the services of the on-site hair salon. My experience is that all maintenance requests are performed promptly. They seem to run a pretty "tight ship" and I feel that my mom is in a very safe environment.

It's not perfect but it's really good. We're pleased with it. My dad has meals and I think they're very good. In fact, I'm going there for dinner tonight. I think the activities are good. My dad hasn't participated in a lot but they're good. They have several exercise classes and he enjoys the social things and playing bingo. The housekeeping has been very good. Any time there is something that needs repairing they are very prompt. It's a very friendly place and everyone is really happy to be there. He's doing as well as anywhere. The only negative, and it's not really a negative, is I think they could do a little better with assigning someone to new people to show them around. I'm very pleased. We're really glad he was able to move in there. I can't think of another place that would be as good for him. It's working out well.

The two deciding factors for choosing Sterling House was the price and the fact that it is a smaller establishment. We did not want a large facility. The room they showed me was perfect for my loved one, close to the restaurant and activities. I looked at one other facility before choosing Sterling House.

The team was very helpful and welcoming with the move in and helping my parents get settled, the food & beverage is high quality and friendly to most dietary restrictions, they are updating many of their devices and common spaces, parking is convenient, social programming and exercise schedules are are expansive and onsite media l assistance has been really good. The only issue is with the elevators, which break down with some frequency. It makes getting to the dining room challenging when that happens.

They have a great room. It's a two bedroom first floor apartment with a door that actually goes to the outside and they have a nice porch. They have good activities which my parents participate in. I would say they're only thing that they're not really fond of is the food. But I think that's pretty subjective and they've always been picky eaters anyway so it's not really a strike against Winward. And as far as the staff goes, I haven't heard anything but good feedback from them. All in all, it's really the place for them because even though they are both over 90 they still do not need much assistance and live on their own quite well.

The overall experience has been wonderful so far. The staff is attentive, the food is good, the place is clean. Her place is clean. I can't say for activities because she doesn't participate often . I have reviewed the calendar and the activities look fun

The staff is very friendly and patient with the residents. Because this is a relatively small community, there is a lot of interaction between staff and residents and also between residents. My mother has been living at Inspirations for three months, and she has two "buddies" who eat with here and accompany her on walks and activities. My mom likes Jeopardy, and after I mentioned it to the Activities Coordinator, they facility now has Jeopardy night. This is a small thing, but it meant something to my mother and me that they would listen and act. My only concern is that there have been a couple of minor communication problems between the Medical Coordinator, the facility sponsored doctor, and myself regarding treatment needs for my mom. After discussing my concerns with the staff. Things were resolved satisfactorily. Overall, I would recommend Inspirations to anyone looking for a little extra care for their family members (that do not need intensive, round the clock, care).

Great visit. [name removed] was very knowledgeable, hospitable and answered our questions with ease. Residents were also helpful and told us how much they loved the facility, food and activities. We toured the entire facility, and got a good look at a one bedroom apartment. There were several renovations underway but that did not interfere with overall operations and looked to be worthy. We had lunch at the conclusion of the tour, and were impressed with the food, service and cleanliness. Overall: very good facility. Worthy of a closer look but not at this time of our search.

It was hard moving my mom out of her house of 20+ yrs to an Assisted Living facility. The Executive director is wonderful! She made not only me and my mom feel welcomed but our whole family! The whole staff has been great, very friendly and helpful! The facility is kept clean and safe! My mom has adapted very well and the transition has gone very smoothly! I hear the food is good and the activities they provide are awesome!

I felt it was important that she feel comfortable with whatever we chose. She ended up liking the staff at Town Village over all the rest. It wasn't a brand new place. It was comfortable, the staff were friendly. They all made eye contact and had good answers for all my questions and concerns. We met some of the residents and they all were very nice. Since then, my sister seems very happy there. She has had a couple hiccups due to her behavior which is part of her dementia. I wish they handled those situations better, but honestly I'm not sure they can handle it any differently. Regardless, the place seems clean, the food is good, the apartment is very nice size. I haven't been there since my sister moved in as I live in California and have had my own health issues, but my nephew and niece see her daily and they seem happy with her place. I will be visiting in October for the first time and can provide more information at that time.

Great facility. The dining area in memory care was a bit chaotic. Any staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. We were t able to see an independent room as they are all full. [name removed] was very knowledgeable in sharing information.

Food. The menus need to include a description of the dish. The names are not enough

My parents have been very busy playing Bingo, poker and even too the shuttle to the casino. The staff has been wonderful trying to accommodate my mom after surgery. They are liking the food as well. The place is very clean as well as the apartment. The apartment is a little small for them just because they were not happy about downsizing but I feel plenty big.
