I love this Community and would highly recommend Parkrose to anyone. I have volunteered here for the last two years and have met wonderful residents, staff and other volunteers. The residents are happy and outgoing which shows to me that they enjoy where they are living. The staff makes everyone feel at home and are dedicated to their extended family of residents. The building itself is always clean, bright and well taken care of, just what a person wants to see for their family. A visit to Parkrose should be in your future if you are looking for a wonderful retirement experience.

Jaimie did a great job touring me around the facility. I feel like this one strikes a good balance between good care & affordability. On site physical & occupational therapy.

Loved it! We toured with Kimberly who was so nice and informative. She offered us lunch and it was great. We loved the apartments which were quite large in comparision to most. The exercise equipment and pool were great, there was a nice neighborhood behind the building and we were invited back for a ladies' wine and cheese party where we met some lovely residents who all welcomed my mom.

We love it, my mother is so happy there. They have so many activities she had a sheet with all the ones she wanted to do highlighted. They take them on day trips. The food is wonderful there. Breakfast is her favorite meal, it's made to order, she can have her eggs just the way she wants them, and they make her oatmeal just the way she likes it.

This was a nice place. Essie was fantastic, really great! This boiled down to not being the right match for my loved one's personality, but it was a very nice place.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. Based on what we saw, and on what we'd heard from friends, this is a very nice community! It was definitely somewhere we would have considered as an option, but we ended up finding a community that seemed like a better fit for her.

We are very happy with them. Everything is very clean and the staff is friendly. I am glad we found them. I have no complaints at this point, no concerns.

They did real well, it's a real good place. This was a short respite stay. Everything was good. They were able to have a home care agency come by to give medications, since medicare no longer covers some of the things they used to. For food had a wide variety of things to choose from, but getting to meals at a certain time, especially breakfast, is sometimes frustrating. It's very structured.

They’re very good with the activities. This place is very conscientious about the residents who live there – they’re not just a check book to fill out the expenses. They’re family orient = so all the residents are part of the family. Everyone knows everyone. They know everyone by the first name. If someone needs help they right there to help that individual.

Mom and I really liked this place. When ready this is where the will reside.

The food isn’t the greatest so that brought the value down a bit. They do provide a range of activities. Out of all the communities we checked out, we hoped this one would be the best. The food program is different – here and it leads to it being a little more expensive. The rent includes two meals a day, but if you want it delivered it’s 8 dollars and 10 dollars to have someone walk with you. All the ala carte items can get very pricey. The surroundings are really nice. Very friendly, very clean! The food has small portions and it’s a little plain.

The staff could not be nicer. They have gone out of their way to welcome us and residents have been friendly and offered help as well. We liked the level of informality in furnishing and activities. there is so much they offer but they do it in a friendly way that made us feel comfortable. We are negotiating upgrades to the apartment so it is good to know that they are open to alternate arrangements. We will be moving in a month or so.

Camelia of Deerwood is a God-send! It has allowed my loved one to live happily "independent" while being safely supervised and engaged socially. The assisted living staff offer medication reminders and supervision. They check in multiple times daily assuring safety and wellbeing. My loved one enjoys their games, activities, outings and nightly films. The dining room reminds me of a private club, where the servers know each person's name and food preferences. The food is carefully prepared and delicious. I enjoy stopping by to share a meal.

They've been really good, we are happy with them. The price is really good compared to other places we have checked out. The food there is good, my sister loves that she can get breakfast all day from 7 to 6 so all day. I've eaten there, and I've enjoyed it. It would be nice if they could change the carpet in the room maybe in the future, we moved in a hurry and they didn't get a chance to change it. We chose them because they were able to take residents 55 and over, and didn't have to wait until they were 65.

It's great, we like them. They needed to change out the thermostat in her room, and it took them a while to get it done. Other than that everything has been great. We have another family member there and that is why we picked them. They have some vegetarian options, but sometimes the sandwiches are limited for vegetarians. The people have been fabulous.

A nice facility - friendly workers and upscale residents. Very clean and new - good sized bathrooms and rooms or suites -- all in top, modern shape. I loved the large central and safe yard with walkways and trees and the spacious, light dining room. The building is adjacent to a nice small shopping center and hair salon. Overall, this seems a great place!!!

I love it, and I can't believe I love it. I thought I was a little anti social, and it turns out not so much. I feel like I get happier everyday. It's awesome, the people are wonderful. There is more to do than I want do, but I get to pick and choose. They seem to have a lot of card games, they have an exercise room, and they have a wonderful young woman, I don't know what she is accredited in, she isn't a Physical Therapist, but she is able to help make sure that I did the right exercises at the classes. The staff are in tune with the residents. They have done a couple of stress management classes and they are going to do more because it was so appreciated it. They have a happy hour, and they took some people to music under the stars. I have been here for almost seven months, and the food is good, I have only had one time that I wasn't sure of the food. They have two menus and they have two of the main choices and they have a couple plates so you can see what the food looks like. We are right now in renovation. Most people are even accepting of the noise. It's a beautiful place.

Extremely helpful & friendly staff. Spacious and light filled apartments, lovely common areas, superb amenities, 24 hour concierge and other monitors in place for residents' safety, flexibility in daily dining options-our #1 choice (although our plans are currently on hold)

My loved one was in their assisted living section, and I thought they did an absolutely wonderful job. The facility itself was nice looking, and the staff were friendly and caring. They provide so many services for their residents, and all of it is excellent!
