I love it! It is really a great place. What they provide is very good as far as their services and meals. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They always call my mom by name. Any time she looks lost they stop and help her. My mom is in assisted living. They don't have a memory care unit, but she does have dementia. They are able to take care of her for now because they let you choose the level of care you'd like based on how many minutes you need help. The food is wonderful, I would like to eat there every night!

I didn't take part in too many of the activities, I'm 71 and I think that some of the activities were aimed at people older; they had activities but I think that's the one area they could improve on. I just liked the people, they were very friendly, the staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. I was quite a bit younger than the average person there, I think they said it was around 82, I was just using it as a place to stay while I visited my daughter and they let me have my dog up there which was really nice. Hallmark required no jeans in the dining room at night and they required the men at least not wear shorts which I really liked. If I needed a place to stay indefinitely, this is where I would go.

This was outstanding, a five across the board, it was just too expensive. It was 7000 a month for what I was needing and it didn't include additional care. The place was elegant, it was very plush the way it was decorated, the rooms were great and they were big.

Town Village is a well run, compassionate and caring community for independent, active seniors. At first, Mom was hesitant to jump in as leaving your own home is definitely an adjustment. The Advisor there completely understood Mom's emotions, and encouraged and assured us within 2 months, Mom would feel more at home. She was absolutely right! Mom has made friends, participates in all of the outings, and recently said being at Town Villages was a blessing, and she loves her new place! Town Village offers wonderful amenities and services, and as Mom ages, if she would need a little extra help with a few things, help is readily available. The staff is warm, friendly, and always accessible to their residents. They are attentive to the resident's likes and dislikes, and hold monthly meetings to get resident input. We are so grateful to know that Mom is in good hands 24/7!

I'm comfortable with what we're paying and I feel that we're getting a good value for the money. She's independent but she did have one problem in the middle of the night and they were there right away, we were impressed. Everybody's in the same building, if they're independent or not because you go in often as independent and then need assisted. There's lots of activities, a lot of people don't take advantage of them, my opinion is that it's easier to sit in your room rather than go out and do something. They put up fliers by the restaurant, they put fliers in the elevator, they give them a large monthly calendar, they're consistent throughout the month but they add special outings for lunch and other outings. The whole family likes coming to the place, it's clean, it's updated, it seems more modern and we do not feel like it's an old folks home. The one thing I wish they would fix is they have a crafts class and so it's done on a shoestring, money wise, they don't put a lot of money into it, some of the crafts are very simple but we looked at a lot of places and this was our number one choice.

Misty was wonderful! The 1 bedrooms were very nice, roomy and clean. Lots of activities going on when I [removed] bingo, bridge, and the Humane Society with pets. Friendly and helpful staff and happy residents. A 'must' for others to tour.

We chose this community because of the location. It is a good location for our family. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The have a great value they are not the cheapest community in the area but they offer the most for the price. The staff is just outstanding. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them.

They have been outstanding. They handle any situation very quickly and they were on top of everything. We are very happy that we came here. The price has been affordable, it is about 25% less then other communities. The nurses and staff have just excellent can’t rave enough about them. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking. This would be the place to be. They are very reasonable, fair, and on top of everything. It is very clean and just overall they are 1st rate.

The residents there appear to be happy, all of the staff are friendly - I went out of town for 4 days, and I called 6 - 7 times a day (because I'm a worrywart) and they tolerated me! :) The building is immaculate and so is the landscaping. They also steam clean the carpeting, it was spotless. What I really appreciate is that the staff doesn't just look at the individual and treat the illness - they see the whole person, and they have a very holistic approach there. They're very emotionally supportive of the families as well. I had 24 hours to find a place for my dad. Two days after he got there (He falls and he has dementia ) he was comatose, but now he's coming around and he's socialable. They have quite a few activities. My dad thinks the exercise class is a little silly - he likes to go down and tap his foot while they're exercising - but he loves to flirt with the nurses! :) He's with people his own age, and they take him to a dining room to eat instead of just bringing his meals to his room. Also, they're arranging a flag-folding ceremony for him to honor him for his service to our country. The VFW, the Fleet Reserve and an honor guard will be there to present him with a new flag to replace the one that used to be on his house. They're very receptive to that, and I think that it's wonderful.

It costs a lot of money, but they're really taking care of my mom. There have been a few times when I've had to make sure things were getting done but I expected that for the first month. There was once when they wouldn't give her a breating treatment in the middle of the night; they sent her to the hospital because they didn't have doctor's orders. I understand that they have liabilities, but it was a little aggrivating. It's been worked out. She's participating in quite a few of the activites like exercise classes, current events, going out to lunch, and happy hours on Fridays. The food is really good! I've eaten there several times and it's always been delicious. I would definitely recommend the food!

We were pleased to find a nice place so quickly. Our mom loves it!

Love this place! Maybe in the future!

The residential walkways are a little worn down you can tell they are actually being used. It is located next to a trailer park so the exterior of the community isn’t very appealing but once on the community ground it is beautiful. The community grounds are very well maintained. They offer a good variety of food and it must be good because my mom has not complained. They have a wide variety of activities so there seems to be plenty to do. We chose The Springs because of its location and the staff really made it what it is. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

We were very impressed with the facility.

What an incredible community. Mom moved into Prestige and enjoys it so much! There is so much for her to do and the care is incredible! She lived in the Assisted Living side and went on many outing, enjoyed the great food and made wonderful friends. Once her dementia advanced, she went into memory care and still continues to feel valued, loved and part of a community. The staff is amazing and loves and cares for her as if they were taking care of their own parent. I would suggest to anyone that Prestige is the only place to look. There are people who live there that appear to be completely independent. They still drive and come and go but feel safe knowing that help is right outside of their apartment if they need it!

The place was wonderful & so was Judy! I sure wish my parents would consider this lifestyle to what they have now, but my father feels he'll be losing his independence and my mother is too connected to the house. It's very sad, because I'm afraid they'll have an accident or something, but I'm not in charge, so I can't do anything else at this point :(

We initially had my mom in Emeritus and it was a nightmare. Our experience with The Prestige at Mira Loma compared to the Emeritus is night and day. Mira Loma is beautiful and clean, and as far as value goes a million times better. It is several hundreds dollars cheaper than the Emeritus, and everyone is way happier with the Prestige at Mira Loma. Emeritus was clearly in it for the money and told me things when I was very vulnerable just to fill their beds. The Prestige is completely different, talk to anybody there, they are happier and tell you exactly what you need to hear. They are not concerned about filling their beds and want people to be happy there, it really feels like a home. It's a cool little resort for old people!

Sedgwick Plaza was such a gem to find! We toured many other retirement homes and we noticed Sedgwick Plaza was not only very clean, it was very friendly. The resisdents and staff were so welcoming and happy to be there. The resisdents were out of their rooms and involved in many activities. It seems Sedgwick Plaza promotes living and loving life. Misty Miller was a world of help and very professional. She made a difficult situation better. She responded to our phone calls promptly and helped us with a smooth transition. We can't compliment her enough, she is a keeper.
