My mom has lived at Brookdale Northbrook indecent living for a few years. I will be forever grateful to this loving Community. Mom chose a one bedroom apartment. The space is very inviting, with a living room , kitchen and bathroom. There are 3 large closets and the apartment is designed well for the residences. I have never heard any negative comments from any residents about their homes. Brookdale is welcoming. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by a friendly competent person at the front desk, who knows every residents name. The facility is well maintained and inviting. I have never met a more caring and concerned staff. From the director to the maintenance crew, you won’t find a more dedicated, caring group of people. They listen to all the residents concerns. There are weekly chats available for residents to discuss everything from menus, activities general concerns etc.. Given these crazy times my review will focus on the handling of the pandemic because that’s where we are. Brookdale Northbrook was quick to respond to safety measures. It is amazing to me when a watch the numbers in other senior communities soar, Brookdale kept the numbers to staff and residents to almost zero. Employees and residents are monitored daily with temperature taking. Accommodations are made and changed as Illinois requirements change. When allowed, activities took place with limited numbers fro current events, exercise, bingo, WiFi bowling to name a few. (When not in Covid there were many activities, lectures, food demos etc.) When on shut down the activities are made available on a Brookdale channel where activities, lectures, movies etc are streamed. Meals were delivered to rooms when the dining room closed but opened on a limited bases when it was safe, and closed again when it wasn’t. Visitors were given the opportunity to visit, through windows, outside when it was safe and on a limited bases inside when it was safe. The activities staff are available with devices to help residents connect for Zoom, FaceTime, etc for family events, religious services a quick hello to name a few. I could go on but just wanted to give a feel. I do not live near my mom, I am in California. I can’t explain what peace Brookdale has given me. I know my mom is safe and well cared for. As her needs change they adapt to her care. I will never be able to thank this community enough. They will always be heroes to me.

Brookdale is a neat place to live. The comfortable apartments, food, and staff stick out to me about the community. The community is in a nice place to place to live. The have walking paths and places to sit to enjoy the outdoors.

Town Village allowed our loved one to live and independent lifestyle which we liked. The rooms are nice and the food they served was about a four out of five. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.

The community is a great place for your loved one. The room sizes were great. It was a fair price and we liked everything about this community much. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

I FEEL [name removed] COMPLETES THE TOTAL PACKAGE OF THE PARKROSE AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED FOR HER COMMITMENT TO QUALITY I SALUTE HER AND PARKROSE FOR HAVING HER IN HER POSITION.

My mother has now lived two years at Mira Loma. She has done great during this time. The staff attends to her needs both socially and physically. The facility provides an open, warm, & sunny atmosphere. Meals are served in a very pleasant open dinning room and the tables lend themselves well to getting to know other residents. Covid-19 has caused challenges but the staff have weathered this well while continuing to give excellent care as before the pandemic.

My father is blind, deaf, frail and over 90. He has lived at Brookdale Peoria for several years now. Brookdale has been wonderful with his care. Very sensitive to his situation, needs and wants. I totally recommend this facility. Best place he has been in.

Very clean, welcoming community. From the very beginning mt virtual tour piqued my interest for my mother. I was set this is the place for mom unfortunately my mother passed and was not able to move in. I would recommend you check out this wonderful community in Pahrump.

Well run community. The needs of residents are well met. The handling of the Covid-19 has been exceptional.

Excellent in all respects. Even though we're on lockdown due to Coronavirus, better than getting it!

Excellent residents. Staff aims to make this your home. Residents have excellent programs that keep us alert, imaginative, busy. We write plays, poetry, have a symphony, chorus, encourage families to join us be one in the community. If you can find other residences like this, don't hesitate, come and be part of the group. We are family!

Great location and view. Wonderful building and decor. Exceptionally kind and caring employee. Leadership = superior. Programs are numerous. Safety first always! Emergency apt buttons and emergency necklace. Employees have been heroic during the pandemic. Attracts exceptionally interesting residents!

We love the Landon at Lake Highlands. They have the most amazing staff! The apartments are special and beautiful. It is simply the finest senior living apartment!!

The Landon has been a safe haven for us amidst the virus pandemic with my problems. The grace healthcare personnel are excellent, giving my wife the ability to gain better mobility with her cane. You have an excellent staff in all areas, too many to mention them individually. The maintenance staff was prompt, competent, on a special note [name removed[ has been a godsend for my wife physically and electronic classes very helpful for our digital world. Your senior staff has done a great job of keeping residents safe. Keep up the good work with the months ahead! Until we have more effective therapies and eventually an effective vaccine there can be no "normal."

The wait staff in the dining room is exceptional. I have no complaints. Love to start the day with a delicious breakfast. An ending the night with a great support. Chef [names removed] cook delicious meals every day. Great place to live.

My mom has been living at The Sheridan for two years. Before Covid it was the best decision we've made as a family to move my mom there. The staff and residents were wonderful, loving and made her feel special and like a member of a family. Many activities kept her busy and really happy. After Covid, my feelings are the same. Although it has been challenging. She is safe and healthy. Highly recommend.

My dad and mom both lived in the assisted living side of The Sheridan for two years. They both loved their time together at The Sheridan and had such great care with dignity. The meals were all amazing. Love the caring staff!

We chose Prestige Assisted Living because it was recommended to us. It ended up being a little too expensive for her needs. The room sizes here were fine for her needs. The best part about the community would be that everybody was friendly and helpful. I would recommend the community.

Entire staff is outstanding. In addition to providing safety, respect, and care they are caring.

Great place to settle. Comfortable and very efficient staff. Food is good also. Activities everywhere. Knew what to do during our covid-19 attack. And still make it fun for the community. They care for us.
