Brookdale Northbrook was a little more expensive. We could have gotten only a studio there for the same pierce as a 1-bedroom at other places. It just seemed very big. Independent residents and assisted living residents were completely separate. It was just not the right fit for my loved one.

We had a nice tour with The Willows of Easley. The atmosphere is just not what we were looking for, we wanted a place that seemed more bright and airy.

It's a very homey, comfortable environment, which is not fancy or new. The staff is nice. I was dissapointed with the food, since there was a food shortage. It was a lot of challenges during COVID-19 with the food.

This is a nice and cozy community but it it does have some issues. All in all I do think that it is a safe place for an elderly person. They have activities like walks, puzzles and more for the residents to do. It is a fairly small community and once a month they go out to eat lunch and sometimes they also go to the market. They do take people to appointments which is nice for my loved one.

Overall it is a good situation and we would recommend it to other families, but we do have a couple issues. Now this is our loved ones choosing so not completely their fault but when our loved ones meal gets delivered it sometimes is cold and unappetizing. Also we really don't like these specific care charges - we were led to believe three meals would be provided every day and that they can be delivered to their rooms which is true, but its an extra [fee removed] to have the meals delivered. We feel that should of been better explained during the move in process and have more clarification

Good community, not as much room for my loved one to roam in memory care.

The tour itself was fine, but they didn't start on time, which put me off schedule elsewhere and was kind of frustrating. Ultimately, it seemed like a very independent community, and I just didn’t think that they would be able to offer enough support for our loved one, who would probably more help in the future.

The staff is good at working with you and are accommodating. communication is good between the staff and our family. They keep us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Brookdale Springs Mesa because of the attractiveness of the facility and the gal we first met with and gave us the tour, we fell in love with her she was awesome. the apartments here are very average compared to the other ones we looked into. I would tell others I think that the family members need to stay very engaged because there are some staff that you really have to stay on top of to get information you need about your loved ones. Overall, I would recommend, they have done a good job under the current conditions.

The rooms at the community are nice, our loves room has a full kitchen. The rooms could use a little work when it comes to the lighting and the heat air is a little dry. However, overall the rooms are nice, light and airy.

Living facility OK. Food much to be desired.

It's difficult to completely judge during the pandemic. Acacia Springs has been locked down since the day my parents moved in; meals are in their rooms, no communal dining. Staff checks temps twice per day. Activities are very limited (10 only) and they don't open an additional room, so if you don't live near the activity room, you're often closed out of the activity because it fills up. Food has been not up to the standard we saw when we were checking it out. One day a salami sandwich consisted of one slice of salami and one slice of cheese; another day a tablespoon of macaroni and cheese. Other days lovely portions and meals, so we don't know if it's an inconsistency in the shipment and delivery of food supplies, or not. My parents have had ongoing issues with a toilet that keep backing up, phone and cable issues, and the staff is wonderful when they respond, but they don't always respond. So overall it's difficult; my parents were so excited to move there -- now they are not happy. I keep telling them to wait until this is over before they can really judge

THE FACILITY IS AT MAX OCCUPANCY. BUT THE CAREGIVERS ARE SHORT HANDED. NOT ENOUGH PERSONNEL TO PROVIDE TIM ELY SERVICE. BUT NOW WITH VIRS,EVEN SLOWER SERVICE/RESPONSE OF COUSE. GREAT FOOD,STILL.

They were very attentive to getting us signed up. Some details were not presented completely because of their rush. The client was not given a complete orientation and has not been satisfied with things that were not explained. They are responsive to questions and requests but limited to items in the Resident's Agreement.

Just over two weeks since we moved in. Visited and reviewed a number of places before we chose Town Village. Staff and crew are very helpful and accommodating. Residents are very warm and friendly. Many activities. It appears this will be the right place for us.

Excellent activities, staff great

This is a very nice community and they seem to offer a lot of different amenities to the residents who are interested. The community is bright, clean and welcoming. I was not too sure that my parents would be a good fit and we felt that the pricing was a bit higher than what our budget was for my parents. I would definitely recommend coming here and taking the tour.

I was there visiting my mom and it still looks pretty good. As for the meals, the food is not the best but she is eating the meals. One of the problems we have is with her door to her apartment. It is hard for her to open the door with out some type of leverage.

she is doing fine for her respite and getting physical therapy from the community. The staff are pretty good people and providing the best care they can for being in a wheelchair. She has been getting 2 helpers to assist her with what she needs. She has no complaints about the meal selection and flavor, she is alright with it all. Housekeeping is keeping her room tidy, clean without misplacing any of her belongings. Brookdale was there and ready when we needed a place quickly.

My mother-in-law is staying at this community and I think it could be better. She needs more nursing care. They do not offer 24 hour nurses. She is in a single room that is near a quiet hallway. At times the help she rings for is not prompt. Activities are available but my mother-in-law feels it is not suitable for her.
