Beautiful, friendly, clean. I have more positive comments, but unfortunately it is a distance from my church. But I haven't taken Town Village off my list

They seem to do a good job here, my loved one is enjoying herself. She's enjoying many of the activities they provide, which include bingo, singing, rides to various places, etc. The staff have all been very friendly, and they generally keep the place clean. I did take a point off for cleanliness because my loved one had an issue with her plumbing that it took them a bit to get fixed.

This is a nice place overall. They have a very friendly staff who provide good care, and keep the place nice and clean.

Everyone seems to be terrified of the director. I'm grateful that he's safe, and around people all day, and taken care of. The food is one area that we hear a lot of complaints about, it was hyped up a lot and it's not all what it was touted to be, it's adequate though. His blood pressure is only taken once a month, but I would like to see it taken once a week, without needing to go up a level of care. I was disappointed they didn't have more one on one or independent transportation there. It's only two stories and the layout felt better to me than the others and the sales director was amazing at her job.

The facility was very plush. More of a retirement community than assisted living, they do meals and transportation and cleaning. She had a good experience there. They have a service where if she is not feeling well they deliver meals. The food was the big complaint. The meals that I ate there were very good, but that was her complaint. They had a little dorm type refridgerator.

We never able to move my brother into Sterling House because he needed skilled care. From what I saw, I like the apartments that they provided. There was quite a variety of sizes. I believe the cost is about $3000 per month. There was introductory special and we were going to take advantage of that. The facility was very clean and well decorated.

I liked how it was set up. It was very new and nice. We toured on the weekend, and there were no activities going on. Initially my dad put money down and had planned to move in, but he would have had to walk and park too far away from his apartment. They have changed hands a couple times now and are not in a good finanicial situation so it may have been a good thing that we didn't go there.

We had my mother in law stay here while we were in Seattle area with my Mom who had surgery. We drove up and picked up our motorhome as well. It would have been too hard on her to try and take her. She totally enjoyed her visit and loved everyone there. There was only one little glitch. She twisted her ankle and was not given any pain medication for it. We were not aware that we should have left some there for emergencies, as they are not allowed to give any medications or even an ace bandage for her ankle. They did not call our daughter - who was visiting her while we were gone. She got the tylenol and she called the doctors office to have them OK it's use. She did spend several days in a bit of pain, but this did not deter her from loving where she was. It upset us more than anyone. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star. If she goes there again, I am aware now and will have all the appropriate meds, etc. available. My mother in law was there for respite care.

I was impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and the willingness of everyone to be friendly.

I liked but its multistoried and i didn't care for that. It was very nice but it was multi storied and it would have been like staying at a hotel, my dad would have liked it if it was 5 years ago. Where he is now though, the different levels wouldn't have worked for him.

Liked the open feeling of the facility. Like the location. Appeared clean... the staff I encountered were friendly. Did not see many residents... I think they were out and about.

2 bedrooms, undergoing renovations to upgrade facility. Can have one pet, maybe two. Can pay someone to walk pets.

That's one I would consider for the future if something were to happen to granddaddy. Grandmommy requires a lot less support so I think this is more the clientele she would like. They have more transportation and I think it would be more fun for her.

I've not phsyically moved in yet, I signed a lease and will be moving in next week. The people appear to be nice, the facility I thought looked good, the apartment that I got is a big one, it's bigger than I expected it to be, it came with a stove which is unusual for the assisted livings I looked at. My son lives in town and he wanted me to be closer to him so the suburbs were out. It's a new experience for me and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm looking forward to the place but I'm not looking forward to doing this. They have lots of activites, there may be some that I'll be interested to do but I really won't know until I move there.

My mother was there for about a year and a half. An RN was always sitting at the nurses' station and the room all went off that area so they had a good bird's eye view of things. The problem with that place was that my mother wasn't quite at the point with her dementia that the other patients were. I think she felt out of place and for it hard, socially, to relate to some of the people so she stayed in her room and isolated herself. She didn't have her own bathroom and that was not to her liking. With all the ice and snow I though it would be good to find something closer to me.

We had lunch here and it was very good. The community was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The people here were very accommodating we showed up after the dining area had closed but they were still able to offer us something to eat. They were more on the expensive side something like $2700 a month.

Tour good, lunch really good, small one bedroom apts, not many two bedrooms.

We visited this morning, Bethany and everyone there were Great, friendly, informative, helpful!! This place outshines the rest that we have seen! Definetly on top of list!

It seems to be one of the best places out of what we've seen. We have good friends and family who work in the health care industry, home health and things like that. They have all heard good things about Sedgwick Plaza. That was very comforting to know. The only reason I gave the care services a lower rating is because I think it's a learning curve. The are helping my mother with pill dispensing and it takes time for both parties to get used to each other and learn how each other works. Even though my mom doesn't participate, they seem to have plenty of activities available.

PROS: Close to me, close to my church, close to K, close to my weekly shopping. Several sizes of apts and many levels of care depending upon what is needed. An option is to pay an additional $5 a month for a patio view. It's small, but that would be better than a parking lot view. CONS: We may need to take a smaller apt to offset higher monthly fees depending upon their evaluation of what Mom would need in terms of care. They assign seating in the dining room! The assignment can be changed per Mom's request. A possible pro/con is a bed check every 2 hours by staff during the night. Would Mom find that a good thing or intrusive?
