Everything is working out very well for my husband here. It is going so well that I will be joining him very soon. This is a very lovely community. They do a very good job with cleanliness. The staff is okay, I know they are trying their best. They are very nice and friendly. He enjoys the activities. The food is good, i'am pleased with the meals. Overall this is a wonderful community and I can't wait to move here with my husband.

My loved one lived here for a short time, and I thought it was a nice place, overall. It was clean and well kept, and the staff seemed friendly. However, my loved one had a large dog, and while they initially allowed him to bring it, eventually they said it was not working out.

We are moving from this community. My mother needed more care and assistance. This is a very nice independent senior residence.

My husband spent 8 days at this community for respite care. The main issue was that they did not follow through on some of the care options they told us about in the beginning. The food was mushy but the community was kept clean. I have recommended this community for respite care.

Town Village was our second choice.A change in management has benefited the facility. They had a wide range if activities to accommodate a variety of interests. The food was good but it wasn't great. The woman who was our contact has an excellent grasp of senior living and what is required to meet the residents needs.

I'am doing very well here at this community, they are taking good care of me. The community looks great, everything is always very nice and clean. The staff is excellent. They are always there if I need some help. I haven't had a chance to try many of the activities, but I hope with more time I can participate in all the activities they offer. The food is surprisingly very good, I really like the meals. It has been a great experience. I would recommend this facility.

A lot of activities and field trips....Food is wonderful! They offer Home Health, but charges are high...nursing visits are $2O per visit...fill your medication box for $10 administer meds for $10. Very expensive for private pay. The room/APTS are spacious and clean with a lot of aminities, dishwasher, stove, garbage disposal, full size fridge.

I am doing fine with this community. There are a few people that aren't very nice. I try to be friendly to everybody. I am still adjusting to the community. There are nice people here. The staff is very good and they are very helpful. There are many activities for me to choose from. The food is pretty nice. This community was a good choice.

We toured 4 places, and they were all fine, Sedgwick Plaza was one of them. We chose a different place based on the room available, and the better fit for my loved ones. We did not see anything concerning though, they all seemed fairly comparable.

Newer, high rise, well appointed building. Each floor is painted a different color which is a great idea to help residents locate their floor. Staff was polite and friendly but a bit aloof and we did not see as many staff members as other facilities. Seems to cater to a more upscale client base. Location is in a great area in Jacksonville. Apartment model we viewed was fairly small.

My sister has adjusted well and things are going well for her since her move into the community.The staff is nice and very helpful with everything. The food is good and a lot of activities for the residents here. I would highly recommend this community.

Our experience with Brookdale Lake Shore Drive has been a positive one, so far. We were impressed by what we saw of the facility on the tour, and the sales staff we worked with were helpful and accommodating throughout the sales process.

On the whole I have been satisfied. However, it is a disappointment that there is a large rent increase every year. As quite a few other people here, my income is government pensions. It is widely known that we usually get a small cost of living increase. I should think that the annual increase would be somewhat in line, perhaps a little more, but the rent increases have been much larger. This year we are not getting ANY COST OF LIVING INCREASE AT ALL. My annual increase will be May 1. I sure hope it will take that into consideration.

Overall our experience with Camellia at Deerwood has been a positive one. It's a nice looking place, the people are friendly, and I think it has a layout that works better than many of the other communities I toured. The residents and staff are friendly, and they have a good variety of activities as well as an excellent activities program. They even have live music a few times a week! I also think they do a good job with the food, it impressed me in comparison with some of the other places we saw. Like the previous few reviews mentioned, they do still have an issue with Legionnaire's Disease bacteria in the water system.

Felt more institutional. Staff was very nice, though, and the facility is very clean

I feel safe knowing that my family is here. I love the feel that this place has to it. Very safe feel to it.

Any problems with the property are taken care of straight away. They are responsive to any problems we have. They could perhaps improve on the menu a little bit. However, they are very generous with their meals.
