So far very nice and comfortable, food is usually great and people are friendly.

Great retirement community and very spacious studio and 1 bedroom apartments. We were looking for assisted living options and not sure the a la cart home health service would fit our needs. Very convenient location.

Outstanding staff, very kind, thoughtful, well qualified. The facility is lovely, however the apartment was rather dark, little sunlight. Also, became too expensive, medications must be purchased through their designated pharmacy - very costly.

Mom is doing well at Northgate Park. There has been a change in ownership which has been good for the facility. The only issue we have encounted has been with the Monthly billing not been correct. This I believe is the result of the ownership and accounting system change. The Director has worked with us to get this correct.

My Aunt [Name removed] and Uncle [Name removed] moved into Heritage Oaks in July, they are slowly adjusting to the facility. My Uncle is liking it there, enjoying the food and assist of staff @ facility. I living in Pittsburgh talk with my Uncle on the phone. I did visit last summer before facility was opened and in July before they moved in. Heritage Oaks is very very nice and brand new. I recommended this facility to them.

Rooms are larger than other places that I looked. This will give Mom room to working on her quilting projects. They serve 3 meals a day which Mom would also like.

We toured and loved this community. Lots of faith based and spiritual folks here! Only major drawback was no kitchen, which does not work for my Mom in law.

Big rooms and bath. Convenient location,staff friendly and premises was clean and organized. [Name removed] was a pleasure to meet and tour with.

This is a nice facility. One thing we really liked is that as residents progress from independent to assisted, they stay inthe same apartment, and the additional help comes to them. So once you are in your home, you know you won't have to move. For our Aunt, this may be a big selling point. Under consideration at this time.

The facility is very nice, the staff are abundant and very friendly, and the lunch we tested was delicious. They say they have remodeled apartments, but there aren't many available. It is about 30+ years old, but well maintained. The apartments do not have ovens, but with meals provided, you don't need one. The grounds outside were lovely and quiet. The price was right for all the amenities.

Outer appearance needs updating, but interior was clean. Staff was pleasant. Not plush but still nice.

This is a possibility. A few draw backs: Need to find someone to manage medications. Cable, phone & internet are extra charges

My loved one used to live in Acacia Springs, and overall, we had a very good experience with the community. My loved one's needs increased, and she needed more help with her medication. Unfortunately, Acacia did not have openings in their more advanced care unit, so we had to move out.

I toured this facility when looking for a place for my loved one. The building itself is a bit older but overall very nice. However, everything was a lot more spread out and that was my biggest concern. To get from the room to the dining area or any of the activities areas would be a trek and that wouldn’t have worked well for my loved one. Their method of charging for assisted living was difficult to understand as well. Their prices were pieced together through different things they offered so it wasn’t just one monthly charge but rather multiple monthly charges. It ultimately wasn’t the right fit for my family’s needs.

The facility was beautiful, the food was outstanding. & the staff was marvelous. The apartments themselves, while accomodating, lacked a doorwall, which is high on my list of priorities. Otherwise, high up on our list of contenders.

From our first moments here, we have seen smiling faces everywhere, and we have never felt patronized or uncomfortable. The staff and the management are sincere, warm, and genuine. They really enjoy their jobs and the people they work for. We were warmly welcomed immediately by both the staff and the other residents. The activities here are excellent. One resident told us when we arrived that "If [we] are bored, it's [our] fault." and that is right. There are lectures here, efforts for the homeless, happy hours, live entertainment, and so many other things. They also have excellent groundskeepers here and cheerful housekeepers that come once a week. We are so happy here. I really do think this is one of the best communities

Big rooms. Good location. Lots of activities and PT on site 5 days/wk.

While deciding on a place for my mother, we were told by a representative that this community had a better assisted living area compared to another location that we were interested in. In the short time that my mother has been there, the care service has been very good. The staff seemed to be doing everything very well and they know what they are doing. They check on my mother every two hours which was good. At night, she likes to keep her door a foot open when she sleeps and the staff respected that. However, there was a night when another resident got out of his room and mistakenly gone into the other rooms. I complained about this to the staff and they assured me that it won’t happen again. They suggested having my mother’s door shut, but because it made her feel comfortable she didn’t want to. The staff still remained very kind about that. Any complaints that I have had they take care of it right away and it all resolved very well. Every time that I have gone there they’re just so friendly. I have yet to meet anyone that is not.
