I really can't say anything bad about Elmcroft. But my mom complains that the activities could be revised. She has given some suggestions, but hasn't made any changes. They could have a driver available at least 5 days a week, not 2. According to my mom, they only transport to Dr appointments. No outside activities. The chef could have more options for diabetic meals, but doesn't. Other than those few issues, they are very professional and keep me posted on my mom's care.

Nice place, but for the dollar amount you would think the rooms would be furnished. Over all not a bad place but just a little pricey for what it offers.

My parents moved to Town Village Sterling Heights in July of 2018. They had never lived in an apartment before, and my Mom was hesitant, however after only a week or two of being in their new apartment home she was happy, socializing with the other residents. My parents participated in some of the activities, they loved the menu in the dining room, and enjoyed stopping at the Bistro, and attending the non denominational church services. The staff made them feel welcome and comfortable. The apartments at Town Village are beautiful. I would recommend Town Village to anyone looking for a perfect place for their aging parents.

$2400 per month marked down from $2805. Community fee dropped from $2500 to $1500. 2nd floor apartment with elevator close by. Beautiful,well kept grounds and friendly staff.

Largest units are at the extreme ends of the hallways requiring maximum walking to main area and diningroom.

The staff and all the residents are extremely friendly, and we are pleased with our two bedroom apartment. We would like f ew more choices of activities but have enjoyed the ones we've tried. The grounds are really kept nice and we were happy to decorate a space outside. The food is excellent but we would like a little enlarged dinner time as it is often too early for us. I would highly recommend Town Village to anyone.

Overall we are very satisfied with Grand Villa. Most recently there have been issues with the food service department because of staff departures. They are addressing it but it appears it will be a long process to get back to the quality level they provided during our initial visit and first few weeks of living there.

We found our initial visit with [name removed] very personable and informative! Our second visit with my in-laws was awesome. The Chef [name removed] was endearing with the story of his own experience and father. [Name removed] showed the units and was also personable. After the closing chat with [name removed] They are leaning toward choosing the Landon, which pleases me!

The apartment space is nice - my parents are in a one bedroom unit and it is adequate. The weekly housekeeping is fair - doesn't seem to include dusting. The meals are fair as well. When they moved in, I would have rated them lower. Fortunately, alternate selections are now offered at every meal in case you don't like what's on the menu. That was a huge improvement. I've eaten with them several times and feel the protein content of the meals should be increased. Activities have been good although they describe some behavior at group gatherings that I can only describe as "high school - like". However, most staff and residents are lovely people. I guess no matter how old we get, there will always be some drama in situations where we congregate. The situation with the locked exterior doors has changed several times lately. That, too, has improved with the pushback to 9 pm. However, the residents should have a way to access the main entrance after hours like a key fob. Overall, the monthly cost seems high for the package.

Everyone, staff and residents are extremely friendly and helpful. Our large apartment is the best I viewed for us,and we were able to bring lots of furniture and accessories. I would like to see more game activities although there is a lot offered. The dining room is very loud but halls are quiet. Overall, we are very pleased.

One of the best things about Grand Villa is location. It is central to shopping, drug stores, churches, banks, doctors and hospitals. Another plus for Grand Villa is the apartment size and having a washer/dryer in each unit. A one bedroom unit is larger than most with 785 square feet. I have lived here for nearly three years and, while the staff and residents are wonderful and the activities are great, we are still going through some growing pains. All in all it is a great place to live.

Augustine Landing has been my home for the past six months. I visited several other facilities before deciding where I wanted to live. My choice was based on the friendliness of the residents and staff and the location near my family. I was accepted with my 11 year old Labrador retriever and my cat. I live in a comfortable two room apartment and enjoy my meals, while not gourmet, are healthy and tasty. I like the informal lifestyle and have learned several new activities and made several new friends since moving here from The Villages. I recommend Augustine Landing for independent seniors like myself.

Good meeting. Did not see a lot of residents in activities. Modern facility and spacious resident rooms. Will consider this along with others when all reviews are completed.
