They were able to get him in and I thought it was a godsend because we needed someone real fast and they got him in fast and took really good care of him and I have no issues at all with the facility

They are doing fantastic. They have made my mom really comfortable. They are informative and always in touch with me, there isn't anything that will pass them by, they know every detail. Communication is outstanding.

I absolutely love this place. My dad has just blossomed since he's been there. The care is superb. I know my father is safe. I have no worries about him at all. The CherryWood Village is a great place.

I'm not an expert on the topic of assisted/independent living locations so I used my people and restaurant observing skills. At Somerset Lodge the residents I spoke with were positive about there experiences and recommend it. Communications lines between the employees and residents are very open too. The meals are served with care and with the goal of pleasing those having the meals. There is some diversity in residents being from different parts of the world. Also, there are those who choose to dress up and others who chose to be casual dressers. And those in between. There are some residents bilingual with accents. Others who are English speaking only. Activity Director is putting events together and makes an effort to engage residents. I recommend giving Somerset Lodge a good look.

Clean environment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food excellent. Would highly recommend.

There is not enough good I can say about this place one year ago my grandma and my grandpa before he died and lived here. My grandma ever since has lived here and loves it here and does not want to move anytime soon.

I don't know what to compare it to in terms of value, but I think it's good. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about her. Someone goes in there atleast 10 times a day, she gets three meals a day, someone comes in and cleans. She has a pull cord in case of an emergency. They help in and out of bed during the night. They take her to the grocery store. There is an onsite salon, and they do pedicures. They take her to doctors' appointments. They would actually go with her. It's located ten miles from my house, which is great. The executive director, the lady in marketing, the head nurse, the physical therapist communicate with me extremely well.

Mom can't stop smiling! She chose Paradise Village in National City, California. The amenity packages are just right. The staff is outstandingly friendly, and helpful. Fellow residents are intriguing. And the best is spacious floor plans in a new building. A Place For Mom has the most comprehensive listings, and incredible customer relations. One lady even coordinated between Phoenix and San Diego. We discovered the need to expand parameters, geographic, style, and level. If we didn't we would have missed out on the best fit. Life is good.

My mom is very happy living in Paradise Village, She has already made many friends and is involved in activities daily. She loves her new apartment and dinner time is a big favorite for her. The staff is so friendly and caring it is just a wonderful place to be. I feel so much better knowing my mom is happy.

Somerset is a great community and would give the friendliness of their staff a 6. Any issues we have had they have addressed and have found solutions. The timing on their part was just great. They were not calling me at all hours but rather would call when we needed them to and addressed questions. Our father is just so happy here and we were prepared for the worst and were pleasantly surprised. We are very happy with Somerset and would recommend them to anyone.

Place was beautiful - well kept up, clean, lots of activities - sunny dining areas - nice outdoor places including a garden she could plant herself. Large pool and nice fitness center. Staff seemed nice. It felt like a cruise ship. We had some concerns it was so big that Mom might get confused in the long hallways. [removed] They did not remember we were coming and scrambled to find someone to give us a tour. We had a good tour though - but didn't get to ask a lot of the pricing, etc. questions.

Real nice

Excellent facility! Very clean, bright and colorful. Laundry service is part of the monthly fee (minimal). No odors noted during the tour. Did not witness facility resident activities, however, reviewed calendar and activity list to include a tour of the indoor pool and exercise/gym area. During the tour staff attitude was very positive and friendly. Outdoor spaces, clean and neat, appears to be safe for residents. Nutrition opportunity available around the clock to include discounts for family members when dining in the facility restaurant. Level of care includes retirement living, assisted and memory care to include medication management. Contracts run month-to-month with 30 days notice for termination. Overall, this a very nice facility and it would be a pleasure to have my dad live there.

It was a struggle initially as she did not want to be there. After some time settling in she has made some friends and seems to be enjoying her time now. Overall everyone seems very caring and compassionate.

Our family is happy overall. My biggest complaint was the handoff day when we took our loved one in. It was a little disorganized and could have been handled differently. I was disappointed that the transition didn't go smoothly for our family and ultimately for our loved one. But the facility is very nice. Everyone has been friendly. I've seen some activities going on in the little amount of time I've been there personally. And overall, we're happy with Carmel Village.

They did a great job working with my family to get the best rates due to my loved ones limited income. They were very accommodating and helped us greatly with knowing what to do and what all needed to happen to get the best care for our loved one.
