The facility, and more importantly, the staff and managers are great. The staff is very caring and understanding. The activities director and staff does a wonderful job keeping the residents engaged and they go out of their way to accommodate interests. The housekeeping is fine. There is a portal you sign up for that comments on daily activities, such as visits from pets or even a miniature pony or visits to a diner for a slice of pie and ice cream including pics. They truly do a great job .The food is very good quality with variety. I would definitely recommend White Oaks McHenry, without any reservations. My mom has recently passed, but I believe they made her time with them as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They could anticipate what was ahead, and made me, as her advocate, feel I was doing right by her. The place has very good management and nursing staff are very caring and compassionate. Go in with your eyes open, follow up with frequent visits at various times of the day including weekends and especially at meal time. I think you will be comfortable with what you see.

I honestly don't remember much about the experience. Everyone was so helpful though! I would highly recommend the facility to others.

Carriage Crossing staff has been immeasurably compassionate and helpful and has helped my mom maintain dignity and grace during a tough time. Long term care facilities sometimes get a bad rap and I was initially worried about moving not mom in, but they have been amazing through it all.

I would like to comment on [name removed], Executive Director. He has been so very helpful with transitioning my Mom into Carriage Court Grove City. He is always there when I need help or just any questions. When I see him, he always invites me into his office to discuss my Mom and asks how's she doing and is there anything he can do. He always steps up to the plate to make our experience so pleasant. He struggles with keeping help in the kitchen as everyone does these days, but he's right there making it work with the staff he has! When we first moved Mom in over a year ago I needed to get my sister who was living with my Mom due to her disability into her own apartment, he took his own time to get me a list of recommended places. [Name removed] is top notch!! That's one of the main reasons we choose Carriage Court! Nursing staff from the Nursing Administrator [name removed], to the nurses like [name removed] are incredible. I would highly and have recommended Carriage Court to all my friends, and acquaintances. I'm around a lot of people in GC and tell everyone. Thanks for your staff!!!

No better luncheon or dinner that I could ask for. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. 5 star meal

The food is just ok, but we LOVE Brookstone Estates. My loved one is very happy there. The staff are all very nice, she loves most of them.

We are quite pleased with them so far. The paperwork is fairly intimidating, but their intake manager,[name removed], guided me step by step through it. She was patient and kind and explained every step. Because they transfer patients from self pay to Medicaid, the paperwork is required by the state. That explains why it's so complicated! Their employees are fabulous and have been great to my mom. They take attendance at meals and use her name every time. She says the food is really good and the time I have been there at mealtime it looked and smelled terrific! They have a weekly laundry and cleaning schedule that they are very good about. I have been quite pleased with everything there.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to take care of her. 110% The staff is the reason that her stay here went well. I would recommend Carriage Court of Grove City to others.

The Director is EXCEPTIONAL, a rare gem! This facility is the ONLY place that my mom has been that treats her with TLC and as a VALUED person!

The facility is well maintained and clean. It is really a pretty facility with lots of activities for the residents. Their biggest problem is they seem to always be short staffed for kitchen help and aids. And the concern I hear from the residents is that the food is often cold. The turnover rate of their kitchen help and aids seems to be high to me.

Staff is very nice, particularly Mitch and Becky - both managers. They were super helpful with the entire process and very understanding and accommodating. Haven't interacted with the rest of the staff other than one of the care takers who called me a couple of times when my mother-in-law had some issues. She was very nice. I certainly appreciated the communication. Facility is very clean. It's an old building but completely renovated. Lots of light coming in. Good energy. I definitely recommend this place. Great staff, beautiful facility and rooms, and their price is very reasonable compared to other facilities in the area.

When you walk through the front door for the first time, you will notice this is not like most other facilities. The friendly staff is exceptionally caring, kind, and loving to the residents. The Grand Victorian experience just seems to attract nice people like that. The residents are friendly toward each other and they enjoy being together. They involve themselves in the many activities that are specially planned for them. Food service is always an important consideration and at Grand Victorian, you will never be disappointed. So, if you’re looking for a new place to call home, this would a great choice.

My sister received amazing care at Heritage Woods of Moline. She was a little nervous about meeting new people and fitting in. On the day she moved in those feelings were gone. Everyone was so welcoming and made her feel very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when she joined right in and loved the activities and made friends so easily. Her care was wonderful. The staff took care of any needs she had in a timely manner. She loved the food (she was picky so that was great). Her medicine was taken care of which in the past was a huge issue for her. The most impressive thing was the way the staff treats the residents. They love them and treat them like they are family. They also invite and include the residents families for special events and holidays. Such an AMAZING place! We have recommended Heritage Woods to many of our friends for their family members.

Their executive director is very hands-on with not only the management of the facility, but with his engagement with the residents. IVZE's Director of Nursing is exceptional, too. Very experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. Lastly, the facilities chef is just that - a real chef! I would also like to put in a mention that working with [name removed] from A Place for Mom was great! He was VERY helpful during the process and his timely follow up made for a fast and pleasant experience. Highly recommend A Place for Mom because of him. And I recently recommended A Place for Mom to a family friend because of our positive experience.

I would definitely recommend them. The staff is amazing. They are attentive and friendly. The move was easy. They answer any questions you have about your family member.

I would tell them to do some research and make sure this works fir them but all finally I'm completely comfortable with my choice at this time and thank you all for your assistance throughout.

types of things. The Director of Sales who gave us the tour was just wonderful. Everybody likes her, and she was great with the residents and other staff members, too. I could see myself being very happy there with my kitties. They have studios and one-bedrooms. There are lounges on every floor for people to sit with guests or eat their lunch or whatever, and that was nice too. It's a big place with five floors, so it doesn't feel crowded. I’m excited to be a resident at Oak Hill!

Such a nice facility. Couldn’t help but notice how friendly the staff is there. Seems like everyone is busy doing activities. I also heard the food is very good there. Definitely a nice place to live.
