Welcoming feeling would consider in future

My grandparents have lived in Carriage Crossing for several years and are happy and thriving. The food and care is always impeccable. Also, lots of planned activities to keep them happy and engaged. The staff is wonderful and compassionate! I would highly recommend their wonderful facilities.

I work in the industry and by far the best assisted living in Champaign County. I toured multiple assisted living facilities, and the care, employees, activities and financial support is amazing. If you are able to get your loved ones into a assisted living I would for sure do this!

My 95 year old mom has been at Carriage Crossing in Champaign for two years now. She first lived in assisted living for a short time before needing memory care support. Mom also has severe macular degeneration and a cochlear implant for her hearing loss which affects her balance. Since I also live in Champaign, I have been able to visit my mom daily, interact with the staff on a frequent basis and understand the challenges and demands they face on a daily basis. Yet, I have observed their caring, kindness and love for the residents they serve. They provide not only support, but friendship. I've lived in Champaign for fifty years and have recommended Carriage Crossing to friends as a home for their parents, knowing that they, too, will sense the love and compassion that I have witnessed.

The minute you step inside the community you feel welcomed! Seeing the residents interact with one another and the dedicated staff, helps you understand why people choose to call this community home! Incorporating some of the best care, socialization and overall wellbeing that Champaign cam provide! Carriage Crossing has both the assisted living and assisted living memory care under one roof! This helps promote aging in place and continued care for long term stays for your loved one! I would encourage anyone to call, stop by, schedule a lunch tour or just pop in and see the community for yourself!

I have had several family members stay with Carriage Crossing in Arcola. The staff is extremely helpful. My family loves the food. I believe they really care about the residents. The facilities are wonderful. I give them two thumbs up!

The Heritage Woods of Huntley community was a great experience so us all. Our loved one has enjoyed his stay and he felt comfortable being there. The staff members were very friendly and very supportive.

My mom and dad both live at Carriage Crossing Arcola. From the moment they have been there, they have loved it they both live together on the assisted-living side of the community. I couldn’t be more happy with a care and the love they have shown both of them. Our dad suffers from dementia, but they get to live together. They have been married almost 65 years and to see the love that they still share and get to be with. Each other, means the world to the rest of our family..

Overall, the facility is great. There are sometimes when there are few workers staffed, but normally that isn't an issue. My mother reports that the food is good, not great, but that is to be expected. I do wish that they had more activities and more of a variety of activities.

The location was a part of the decision. Along with staff, building, food, transportation and all of the great activities! My parents can be busy or just relax. Like being on a cruise. Safe clean environment. Friendly caring staff. Better than their private home.Food, laundry, cleaning, and medication is taken care of. Lots less work and worry for the family.

I am currently a resident at Independence Village of Greenwood and everything has been very good for me here. The cleanliness, friendliness and staff are great. I would recommend this facility to others.

Staff is very pleasant to interact with in they go above and beyond to help you. Compared to the last home we were in, This place is much more homely as most places in more industrial. More about money. This place seems to be more about the people.

Very friendly people and move in process was a breeze

From the time that we toured White Oaks Memory Care of McHenry, the staff had been amazing. The housekeeping is excellent, they were very helpful. The food is excellent and I would highly recommend this facility to another family.

All the staff in which I've interacted with have been extremely friendly, inviting, and willing to help in anyway they can. The building is well maintained & provides a warm environment to visit loved ones. Daily, there are a variety of activities for residents to participate in to promote the health of their minds, body, & the formation of new friendships.

I've not had a negative experience here! I'm so glad to be here near my daughter. It's spacious and just what I need!

All the staff & everyone is always so nice & inviting. The place is super clean and the food is really good.

Toured for my grandpa. The team was willing to get him moved in the next day, after assessment. He ended up going to skilled nursing, but it was a great experience for our family.
