I am hoping that the issues we have had with medication reminders are in the past and that weekly apartments cleaning gets better. The whole staff seems to truly care about the residents and the facility is clean. For a facility that take medicaid, they are hands down the first choice.

My mom has been at The Keepsake for many years And the quality of help is always awesome! Everyone loves my mom, which is reassuring!!! Amazing,

Cambridge House is very beautiful. My mom is very happy here. My family is grateful that she is safe and cared for by the CNA’S. They all seem very friendly and really care about my mom. I however have found for the couple of years she has been here and this is nothing new. The management always acts to busy or annoyed to deal with you. They should be used to families calling and inquiring about their loved ones. We are putting them in their hands. For the most part we are happy where she is. But management could be a little more accommodating

I am finding things are not as assured they would be. The transportation to doctors Is very limited and not free. I was assures transportation to my Doctor would be available although she is not in Kane county, she is about a mile into DuPage county. I was assured they would help me receive Medicaid when my money ran out, now I am very near there and can't see at help coming. My room is good and the CNA's are very nice, though I don't need much from them.

This was a very nice community, open bright and spacious and the staff did a very nice job with our tour, they showed us all around and answered all our questions. I would recommend coming on their tour to see the community and all they have to offer.

The lady that gave my loved and I a tour of this place was very friendly and had a lot of information to offer us about all of the great things they have to offer. She made sure to take her time and was very professional throughout our visit. The only thing I thought was that the building was a little bit older and there seemed to be a fowl odor in the memory care unit.

The staff seems a bit unengaged and the place is often a bit dirty due to housekeeping challenges. The Medical staff takes good care of the residents.

The apartment we were shown was small. I was not sure how you would be able to fit two people in it comfortably. The community looked clean and the people we met were nice and knowledgable. This community cost a little more than we were looking for.

The move to the Victory Centre of Park forest has been a little rough but is getting better. My mother was having trouble walking down to the dining room by herself, but they will be having a CNA check on her to make sure she's going. The only problem we have encountered with the community was that they forgot to do my mother's blood work, but I spoke with them and things are back on schedule. Everyone is very nice here, my mother likes her apartment, and always says the people are very nice to her. The community, as well as her place, are kept very clean. The meals from what I've seen are fine.

I would have given Cambridge house of Swansea a 5 star rating except that ALL the residents say the food is horrible. Tastes bad and is often cold. This is very sad and inexcusable. Long time residents say in the beginning it was very good but went down hill. I was told by marketing before moving Mom in the food was great. So sorry for my Mom. I'd like to know if there is something that can be done?!

After first month the rent was raised across the board. Wasn't made aware of the raise when my mother was approved and moved in.

staff enjoys their job and they are all professional, cheerful, helpful, patient, and good listeners.

I can't believe the laundry people don't have enough sense to turn clothes right side out before they fold clothes...who would give an elderly person their laundry back all inside out....???? Other than that, its wonderful

Awesome, Mom liked it, Dad did not because it was assisted living. Dad did not give it a chance. He does not want to be closed. But no memory wing, Dad has Alzheimer's.

My mother moved into Reflections almost a year ago. We were able to negotiate lunch and dinner with the monthly rent. We were given permission to paint her unit, and make a few changes to make it more of a home. Everything was great. Since then, they have experienced a turn over of staff. The activities listed, are usually for show. The upkeep of the property has gone down hill, and it's hard to get repairs done. Furnace/air conditioning filters are not changed, and some of units need replaced. The food service has good, then budget cuts were made, and it has gone down hill some. Food choices are very limited. In the beginning, they would bring your meal to your room if needed, now they charge $5 for each delivery. They do have outings, will take the residents to the grocery store, and with 2 week notice take them to the doctor, which is helpful. Unfortunately, they gave notice of a 7% rent increase, which is causing many of the residents to look else where to live due to the changes taking place.

The place itself is pretty nice. Clean welcoming. The food leaves quite a bit to be desired. There is very little fresh food, most with a lot of breading or gravy. That is probably the biggest drawback. There are some activities. My mother said it took quite awhile to get to her Dr. appt. waiting for others. Staff very friendly and courteous. I think they could have more activities.

The staff is very caring and positive. The building and dining room are clean and bright. The lobby And dining room are decorated for holidays and special events take place. I recommend Heritage Woods.

Seem to be a very caring staff. Only have seen one that I felt should not be there. I live in California but my brother lives 2miles away so he is there quite often. Seem to be quick to try and help remedy concerns.

This facility is very well maintained. The facilities are attractive and the faculty there are friendly. In my opnion this facility is more of an independent living facility. when fulll ther are only about CNA per 25 residents. If you have a loved one that needs a lot of care I would not recemend the GV. Again the VG is god at what it is designed to do. Be sure of the level of care needed and then visit the GV.

We looked at this place for medicare but by the time she was ready to move they weren't accepting it anymore. It's a beautiful place but it's just too expensive. I personally think medicare dropped them because they're prices were soo high, they were asking 3300 a month and you would have to pay more on top of that for other things. If you have the money it's great and it's a beautiful beautiful place.
