We've been very happy with this community and our loved one is very happy here. It's been such a blessing. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The facility is spotless. Communication with the family is very good. Housekeeping is once a week and seems to be pretty thorough. They offer Laundry service also. Our loved one really likes the food, as do the other residents. We talked with several of them before moving our loved one in and they all seemed to love it. We did have a bit of an issue with billing, but we were able to get that worked out. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends. I would live here myself!

Carriage Crossing has been a very good experience so far and we have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff members are very friendly and they seem to know what they are doing. The administrative team is very helpful and any time we have questions or concerns they answer them in a timely and professional manner. The dining hall is excellent and our loved one is given great meals. The facility itself is very nice and very well maintained.

I have been delighted with the kindness, compassion, and consideration given to my mother at Brookstone. [name removed]- and ALL of the staff - treats her as everyone wants their loved one to be treated. Mom feels safe, secure, and validated as a person. We highly recommend.

Heritage Woods of Yorkville is super clean and the staff is wonderful and cheerful.

I believe this is the best place in the area. My loved one is happy and has settled in nicely. The staff communication with the family has been good. There are three meals served a day to the residents. There are choices for the residents to choose ahead of time. The cleanliness of the resident's rooms could improve. I believe the community could provide more daily activities for the residents to participate in.

I enjoy living here. Everyone is very nice. I enjoy all activities. I was named as resident of the month. Very many people cared. When I had a problem it was usually taken care of.

I walked thru the community and liked what I saw. Staff and residents were friendly and welcoming. Apartments are great and will be perfect for my parents when they are ready to move.

The Building is well staffed now with the exception of the activities dept. Although there is not an activity Director there at the moment, the department is running exceptionally well by the long term activities assistant. The staff genuinely care for the residents and do their best to accommodate their needs and also the desires of their families. Although some of the management staff are new, they have stepped up to the task and are making positive changes. The Residents in the building are the best bunch of people you could ever want to meet.

You always meet a friendly face when you walk into the building! The staff really care about the residents and go above and beyond to make them feel like this is their home. Not to mention how well kept and beautiful the place is decorated. The entertainment the residents receive here keeps them active and busy.

Nice facility and the workers are nice, too. I just wish they could hire decent cooks. There has been several times that they either didn't have enough food ordered or no cook at all. Management then sends out for McDonald's and pizza.

This home, is the forever home for my new mom. I am a real estate agent and came in contact with an older client. She had no one to help her move out of her condo and into her forever home. I visited 18 homes and settled on this one for many reasons. #1 reason, (name removed). She was a great help to us and was very easy to talk with. #2 the rooms are a good size and pet friendly. #3 My new mom said it felt like home. Looking forward to visiting her and all the staff soon.

Two bedroom, two bath or studio options with kitchens. Patio doors in most apartments. Updated flooring and painted recently. Nurse on site. Parking available for those still driving. 1/4 mile outdoor walking path with 1/8 mile indoors available. Sits off road for privacy.

My uncle lives here and loves it. This man has not liked any other apartments he has lived in but here they treat you like family. All the staff are very attentive to my uncle and his health needs. He used to be a regular at the moose and VFW back in Illinois but became very withdrawn living at other places when he moved back here. Until we found independence village. He is social and interacts with other residents. He goes on outings with the groups and the food is fantastic and fresh prepared meals.

The apartments are very clean and cozy. Well maintained, the staff is friendly and compassionate. Management is also hands on with residents and ensures they continue to thrive. They set a good tone with the employees which contribute to a good atmosphere.

The people here are very, very nice. The food is very good and our service is good. I am a fussy eater. Everyone that works here is very helpful.

I love it here and I tell everyone about the Grand Victorian. When you love something, everything is beautiful.

We are so thankful for Independence Village of Greenwood. The staff is first class and extremely qualified to deliver the best care possible for their residents. We have experienced a spirit of personal caring and great communication from everyone. We feel our loved one is safe and being supported to enjoy the best life they can at this time.

Our family came in for some information. We felt overwhelmed. The staff at independence villages Greenwood made us feel so welcome and put our minds at ease. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.
