Our family came in for some information. We felt overwhelmed. The staff at independence villages Greenwood made us feel so welcome and put our minds at ease. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

As a visitor of the community I can tell that the staff are genuinely kind people and the folks that live there are happy! Always people laughing and carrying on, small groups of residents hanging out and what appears to be lots going on.

From the first week of our loved one being there she has been super happy and from what we have heard from her, she loves the meals and dining service. Based on the experience we have had so far with Keepsake Village we would recommend them to other families. We do wish they could give the door code to the families when they come to visit - you have to have someone let you in/out of the building and sometimes you have to wait outside or go and bother someone. So at times it is a little inconvenient.

We had a great experience at Heritage Woods of Plainfield. It was very homey, kept clean, constant activities going on for those who chose to participate. They decorate for every holiday and occasion, and have one big event per month with an entertainer, different theme parties, etc. The staff was very nice and attentive. I'd highly recommended it and give it 5/5 stars.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time of year to be grateful for our blessings. We have to say the Fountains is at the top of our list. The superb, warm and loving staff have given our mother a wonderful, and caring new home. The director, front desk people, office staff, nurses, cleaning ladies, maintenance crew and cafeteria crew all take exceptional care of our beautiful mom. Every visit we have with mom shows us again that we made the best choice in senior facilities. Thank you, everyone, and may you all be blessed for the genuine love and care you show your residents every day.

My grandmother spent her last few years here. She needed to move out of her home of 50 years and the staff made it an easy transition for her. She enjoyed the activities they offer and the company during meal times. The dining room is like a restaurant.

I just want to say that [name removed] in charge of the Medicaid process at OakHill Supportive Living has been so wonderful and so kind at guiding us through process for my mother that now lives there. I wish more people were as kind as she is! Thank you for all of your hard work! You made it a pleasant experience. If we did not have your help, it would have been a different experience! I was invited to a marketing event at Oak Hill. I attended and was given a tour also. Oak Hill is a beautiful community that really shines. It's hard to believe that this community will offer Medicaid once the resident runs out of their private pay funds. The residents are friendly and the staff know all the residents by name. They have eight managers that take turns being manager on duty on the weekends and half of the managers have been here since they opened 10 years ago. Team tenure is very important to a successful building. I recommend you check them out if you're looking for a community for a loved one.

Our mother has been living at Oak Hill since [date removed]. My family and I cannot say enough nice things about the Oak Hill staff and facilities. From the research phase, to intake, move-in, and day to day life, EVERYONE we’ve encountered at Oak Hill has been welcoming, friendly, professional, and attentive to our mother’s (and our family’s) needs. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and inviting, with plenty of room - indoors and out - for relaxing, visiting, or participating in various activities. Even more telling, the many residents of Oak Hill that we have encountered are also very friendly and seem to be happy and well adjusted. My family and I visit often and with no notice. We have never experienced anything different. We are glad we found Oak Hill and are very appreciative of the care they provide for our mother.

They helped without it feeling like it to the residents. Everyone was happy and alive!! Employees enjoyed their job.

We picked this community, because they offered care for, the later stages of memory care and alzheimer's . It's a safe and secure environment. I would recommend this facility, for families who have loved ones that need, the later stages of memory care.

We could not love it more. They are absolutely amazing. We were hesitant at first because it was a big move, and my mom was really scared. I told her to just give it a month, that she would probably look back and see how happy and independent she was. She has come so far, and she has actually gotten better with her Alzheimer's' since she's been there. She has people to hang out with and is getting more social interaction, which has been very beneficial. The staff are wonderful. Every time she presses her button, they're there 100%. We're so glad we made the decision to do it.

This was a good experience for us and our loved one. We have recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff communication with the family was very good. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they had choices to choose from. The community tried to work with the dietary restrictions of my loved one. Some of the activities available included: entertainment, bingo, petting zoo, outings, and more for the residents to participate in.

This place is absolutely amazing. They care about the residents here and make it a point to try to keep them involved and active. They're wonderful and take such great care of mom. It's very comfortable here and feels like home, even to me! Housekeeping is once a week and they do a great job. Laundry service is offered for an additional cost. Communication from/with them is amazing, they stay on top of things. They have a variety of activities, there's always something going on. Mom chooses not to participate, but I wish she would. The only thing that I don't like is that there seems to be a lot of turnover with the nurses and aides, but I know you get that everywhere. I will say, the nurses and aides that they do have, I really like. Mom's nurse is absolutely phenomenal. I can't rate the food because I've never tried it and mom doesn't like to eat, so she doesn't eat it. They're very accommodating to her, though. As far as getting her broth and things. They also have a smoking area for residents, which we learned during our search is hard to find. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family

This is a nice place! My mom is very happy here. They seem to be taking care of her very well. Communication with the family is great. The food is ok, good quality and variety for the most part. The staff is friendly and outgoing and very aware of things going on around them. They do offer activities, but not a lot of variety. They have a good amount, but seem to do those same things weekly. Overall, we're happy with it! I would recommend them to family and friends.

The fountains have been great for my dad and his situation. The administrators have been flexible, responsive and compassionate. The staff has been great! Wish there were more amenities but again not sure what my dad would use. Even the exterior amenities are lacking and they have beautiful grounds. I'm sure all of this would cost more - which would be fine w/us but not sure how others would be. The location, staff and fact that my dad is happy is what we care about. He's made friends. My dad loves the therapists - and like all places- staff is limited but they are accommodating his requests for more therapy. The place needs updating - which they are working on slowly. Food isn't great but tolerable for my dad- I would not do well on it but expectations are different.

Moving a loved one to Assisted living can be very stressful. Lindsey was so patient, understanding, and guided us through the entire process, she was wonderful! Every single employee (Director, Nurses, Techs, Activity, dining room, maintenance, etc.) with Independence Village seems to enjoy their job and treats all residents as if they was family. They offer many fun activities which helped mom to get introduced to other residents. I really appreciate how attentive to all my moms needs especially medical gives me peace of mind. BIG THANK YOU Independence keep being Amazing!!!

The culinary programs and resident experience-focused model makes Independence Village of Greenwood stand above all other senior communities! The quality of food and care gives me peace of mind knowing I chose the right community for my loved one.

They couldn't be nicer here. Overall, we're happy with this community. We've had a couple of small issues. For example, my loved one prefers to shower more than once a week. We requested that, but it doesn't always happen unless she gets a little more insistent about it. Then it gets done. They are losing a couple of good staff members, which is unfortunate because they're great. The variety of food wasn't great at first, but it has improved. Communication with the family is very good. They offer a variety of activities, but my loved one hasn't participated in them yet. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.
