Beautiful facility with nice amenities/activities; High cost, unexpected fees, best for high functioning senior with limited care needs.OK if looking for independent living and have ample cash to spend.

Nice facility, good value, friendly, clean, good but occasionally short staff, laundry and housekeeping okay and mostly adequate food. I would recommend to others.

In memory care The staff is very caring. They take extra time one-on-one to sit and listen and chat with all the residents to ensure all needs are being met and the residents feel heard. It's a very loving and caring and environment.

Overall satisfied, rooms clean. Diaper clean. Staff helpful. But there is very little fufu or pizzazz. Keep in mind. It is [amount removed] less expensive than his previous situation... Don't let the place fool you. At first it looks a little dim (lighting low). A bright place will be more sympathetic and seem happier. However it definitely suits the purpose for what it needs to be. So far I am extremely satisfied. My dad found a new friend within 2 weeks, and he seems happy all around.

Eat there before you commit. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Recommend that for ALL facilities people are looking at. Staff are very caring. Impressive response when fire alarm went off. All staff seemed to know EXACTLY what their role was and acted quickly and what appeared to me to be appropriately.

Pelican Pointe is my home. I have good friends here and the staff treat us with care. There is plenty of stuff to do during the day or you can spend time in your apartment. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be. All the residents wear pendants, you press the button and the R. A's. come as quickly as they can and help you. This is a wonderful place to live. This may be a rambling review but there is just so many great things about Pelican Pointe. Like I said this is my home and I love it here. Come and visit, take a tour.

When I first went there they seemed perfect. I don't know another about care facilities and maybe have unrealistic expectations. Someone is stealing from his room. The aids don't have the patience my brother requires and they charge for every little item that I thought was included. Very clean. Activity director great. Food terrible.

There should be meals that cater to specific needs such as those who wear dentures etc. If a resident feels like eating in their own room, there should not be an additional cost to deliver their meal to them. Never have anyone but a med tech take vitals for someone especially those on hospice.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Also, the food is excellent with menu choices. The facility is very well kept with an inviting atmosphere. The communication with the residents on activities could be improved so they understand what the activities are about, and personally inviting them to participate. Maybe even involving them and showing them how the activity works with a one on one help. Maybe some volunteers could be used here. Activities are important for those who are able to participate.

What we like the most about the blossom Grove community is that they are inclusion when they do activities. They also do a great job having them recognize holidays and celebrations. I know my parents wouldn't remember any

My father was a resident at The Auberge at North Ogden. He declined to the point where he couldn't feed himself. He had to go to the Memory Care facility to eat and didn't like it because he couldn't have a conversation with anyone there. I went with him there once and helped him eat. I thought the staff were rude and ignored any request that he had. At this time I wanted to take him to the dining room so he could be with his friends, but they wouldn't let us. Once he was placed, the office staff was pretty dismissive and didn't keep me informed of his decline. He also fell regularly and was with aids when he fell. Also, the dinners were gross and not nutritious. The lunches were good, but the breakfast had strange eggs. I would definitely not recommend The Auberge at North Ogden to others.

Would I recommend the place to other people, yes. The staff are amazingly friendly. Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time at the facility as I live here in Washington. I have another relative who visits my father regularly, and he says they are doing pretty good. My one concern is that I do not receive updates or news letters regarding how he's doing, and that is very frustrating. Also, it seems they are slightly understaffed because it takes forever for someone to answer the phone or it goes to voice mail, and they take a while to respond.

They're new, still have issues to work out but they are trying. It depends on what level of care a person needs. If it's minimal, this place is great. If more care is needed, maybe look at a nursing home.

We picked this community, because of the proximity to my home. I would recommend to others, it's one of the best.

I like Grand Montecito but I feel like I have to stay on top of what's happening as Mom gets left out of things from time to time. The pediatrician was there one afternoon and did not stop by to check Mom's feet. They said no worries, he's here once a month. We said ok. Turns out he's there once every 3 months. We have been in numerous times to find that mom is not wearing her compression stockings. These are supposed to be put on every morning for her. We like the place but I feel like I have to be on my toes.

Catalina Springs Memory Care community needs some more staffing. We often couldn't find anyone to talk to about our family member when needed. With staffing improvements, we would recommend this community to other families.

The Countryside Lakes Senior Living community is a nice community but pricey. We do like it but it is almost double of what they charge for in Texas. One of the major selling points at Countryside is that you can get assisted living and stay in your unit.

Our family had an in person tour with Cedar Bluff and it was a good tour experience, but due to our loved ones health they were not geared towards caring for her an they had multiple levels and we did not want her by using elevators.

Based on the experience we have had so far, we can say that La Sonora is basically a good place. However, they need to provide the care they promised to give and the care that we are paying for.

It fit the specialized needs of my mother. They do very well with dementia care. It's a good place for those with dementia care needs.I would recommend it.
