Overall we were very happy with the community, and we do think the care our loved one received was great. At times there could of been more staffing but that was no fault of the community we understand every place is struggling with staffing. Our loved one was difficult at times and they still provided great care. Some reason why we picked this community was location, the size, and they had a physician's assistant as apart of the group and we found that to be very meaningful. Our loved one did not really participate in the activities but we could see all the effort the staff had put in to keep activities going.

They have been very open to our feedback. We picked this community, because it's really close to my Mom's house so she can visit Dad often, small size of facility, they listened to our concerns/fears and shared their personal experiences with memory loss caregiving, A Place for Mom got them to work with us,to negotiate on the costs.

The staff and general atmosphere was very friendly when I walked in. All the residents seemed to be very comfortable. There didn’t seem to be quite as many activities as the place we chose.

Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center will hold a special place in our hearts as we were able to know that mom was in a safe and secure place during her respite care needs. BGA offered a homey, happy, atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. The staff were more than accommodating and offered us the comfort and respect to come and go as we pleased to spend time with Mom at our leisure. It felt more like a family than a facility... the freedom the patients have to enjoy their days was impressive. They encouraged and had freedom, yet closely attended to as well. Mom made new friends and was encouraged to help and engage with others as she felt comfortable. So many activities offered healthy interaction with staff and clients. We were so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend BGA to anyone considering care for a loved one.

My tour at Bayside Terrace was amazing. The place had a home feeling to it. I noticed the residents look out for each other . They spend lots of time out amongst the other residents . The grounds are beautiful.

For what the facility does, it is pretty good.

We chose Overland Court because of the location (she wanted to stay in her same area), and also the gal who gave us the tour the marketing director was amazing and so friendly. She talked to my grandma instead of us and was really involved. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others looking

Blossom Grove has made my father feel welcome and at home in their community! The entire staff works tirelessly to accommodate my fathers needs. They are quick to resolve any immediate concerns! We are so thankful for Blossom Grove!

The caregivers are great. They are always willing to help. My loved one seems to like the food. They have a new activites director. I am not too happy about the increase in the prices. We picked this community because, they specialized in Alzheimer's /Dementia. The communication could be greatly improved, with administration. Overall, I would tell other families to do their research.

My mom has commented on. She really likes the food. They seem to have a lot of activities. I do wish for my mom's sake they had more outdoor activities. I have seen other facilities that or considerably more expensive for what you get, This is one area where I feel like they are quite reasonable

I took my husband out of a different facility because I was very unhappy with it (understaffed for the amount of patients, theft, etc.). Moving into Autumn Leave, it has been absolutely fine. He's getting very good care. I like how clean the facility is. I'm very happy to have him here (as happy as you can be considering the circumstances). Autumn Leaves is also cheaper than the previous place, which was in no way the reason for my decision, but a nice bonus feature.

We have some background in this and we understand just how important the meals and dining service is and for that this community gets a 5++ Our loved one says he has not had a bad meal there as of yet, he loves it and eats everything. We stayed there with him for about a week to get him adjusted and we even thought the meals were good. For us the location is very convenient and based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

This was a beautiful community; however, it was very modern. I didn't feel it fit my loved one needs and the internal courtyard was very small for the residents. They didn't have any safe walking path for them. The views confused my loved one due to them thinking their were larger apartments available. Most of the activities for the residents were done inside.

This is a nice, safe place for your loved one to live. The staff communication with the family is very good. They keep the family updated on changes with our loved one's care. The community is able to provide medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance for our loved one. My loved one doesn't care for the food due to the taste. There are three meals a day served, and there are choices the resident can choose and can order off a menu.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was great but the community was just a little bit more expensive for us

The property is good, but they clearly have some issues maintaining chefs. They can't seem to keep a chef on staff and the food has really suffered because of that. They are also having some security issues. I'm unsure if it's a resident or a staff member, but someone has gotten access to a pass key and has been going into locked apartments and stealing things from those apartments. It's happened to my loved one's friends and my loved one themselves. I personally feel it was a resident because of the type of items that were taken. Other than that we're happy; the people are really nice, the food is just not so good.

Tour we believe was very nice, ended up choosing location that worked better for our family.

If it wasn't for my mom getting Covid I would rate Coventry a 5 for care. My mom had dementia and didn't know how sick she was. The staff said they would check her vitals often. A week after she got sick my daughter used the gadget on my mom's finger and her oxygen level was 72 so we took her to the hospital. Also because of Covid no visitors were allowed to eat in the dining room and my mom never could remember what she ate because of her dementia so I don't know if the food was good. They did bring her meals to her while she was sick but she wasn't eating anything. I wish the staff did better to communicate with me when my mom was sick. I will tell my friends that Coventry was a good place for mom.

The the stafff is very friendly. They care for your loved one. They recognize me by name. They are always open to suggestions. They sometimes have a shortage of staff. If they were properly staffed, they would have a higher rating.

I've had limited interactions with the staff, but some of the staff are extremely helpful. In particular - [name removed], one of the caregivers; [name removed], who assisted us during move in & was the most hands on; and [name removed], the health director - have all been very helpful! Another lady named [name removed] was also very helpful. I'm unsure if she's still there, but she's the one who gave us our virtual tour. One thing we've noticed is the wandering of other residents into my moms room, I'm unsure if that's common in memory care. My sister, who has more contact with the community, wanted to know if their doors could be closed. I guess maybe that's just the nature of the residents? My sister also recently mentioned that when my mom was having her meal, she had a half slice of bread instead of a whole slice. I know that's small, but small things can lead to big things. Overall I would recommend this community to others.
