I love coming to the big events at Laurel Glen. They always decorate and make everyone feel so welcome in the building. The food and atmosphere are always spectacular! I will definitely continue to come back every month to see what they have in store next!

The employees at The Brant at Gretna are friendly and kind, but there seems to be a lot of turnover. As for the food, when I've eaten there, it's great. My dad sometimes complains, though about the food being too difficult to chew. However, he is missing some teeth. During the weekdays, there are plenty of activities. On the weekends, however, the Memory Care Calendar doesn't match with any activity. The value for cost is good, we need to receive a 30 day evaluation, though. It is past due for probable lowering of the rate.

Beautiful facility with nice amenities/activities; High cost, unexpected fees, best for high functioning senior with limited care needs.OK if looking for independent living and have ample cash to spend.

When I first went there they seemed perfect. I don't know another about care facilities and maybe have unrealistic expectations. Someone is stealing from his room. The aids don't have the patience my brother requires and they charge for every little item that I thought was included. Very clean. Activity director great. Food terrible.

We toured The Inn at Los Patios during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. I really liked the staff at this facility and the homey feel. There were fireplaces everywhere and the dining room looked out onto a beautiful area. The Assisted Living side was also homey and personalized with the staff to resident ratio being really low. The apartments on the Independent Living side were a bit older and also slightly dark. Although they did have screened in porches. Overall, I did like this facility quite a bit and it was our second choice.

They're new, still have issues to work out but they are trying. It depends on what level of care a person needs. If it's minimal, this place is great. If more care is needed, maybe look at a nursing home.

I like Grand Montecito but I feel like I have to stay on top of what's happening as Mom gets left out of things from time to time. The pediatrician was there one afternoon and did not stop by to check Mom's feet. They said no worries, he's here once a month. We said ok. Turns out he's there once every 3 months. We have been in numerous times to find that mom is not wearing her compression stockings. These are supposed to be put on every morning for her. We like the place but I feel like I have to be on my toes.

Catalina Springs Memory Care community needs some more staffing. We often couldn't find anyone to talk to about our family member when needed. With staffing improvements, we would recommend this community to other families.

The Countryside Lakes Senior Living community is a nice community but pricey. We do like it but it is almost double of what they charge for in Texas. One of the major selling points at Countryside is that you can get assisted living and stay in your unit.

It fit the specialized needs of my mother. They do very well with dementia care. It's a good place for those with dementia care needs.I would recommend it.

Very nice community, very friendly community. Generally good staff. Some administration issues. Food choices and quality could be improved.

We picked this community because of the location, economics, and size. It's a pretty good place. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

My mother is currently a resident at Pine Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center and everything here has been great! The staff are wonderful. They are good to the residents. They are also good at keeping me well informed about my mother. They do pretty well with the menu, they have to cook for the masses.

The Brant is a brand new community, and they seem to be working the kinks out. I think Mom is safe, and the staff are good to her. Activities have been slow to start due to staffing issues. Also we are having some logistics issues with washer, dryer, and shower. Things were so hard to get when they were building that they had to settle for whatever they could get, even if it was poor quality and doesn't work well. Still working on that. Overall, no different than most facilities, and the priorities for us are being met: safety, checked on, provided medications, and has food offered - all in one place, which is what she needs. They have also gotten her to socialize, which she needed. She seems to be adjusting with just a few complaints.

The Villages of Windcrest is very good at activities for the residents. Their food is good. They lack a little in nursing care-especially on the weekends. The staff communication with the family is fair. There are three meals a day and the residents have some choices.

Actually the patient is my son in laws mother. So far we are happy with The Landing! Very clean and modern. Lots of activities. Would probably like a bit more variety of food. They seem to serve a lot of pork.

I toured this facility and it was really good, this was our second choice.

You have to watch your family member - don't just drop them off. I think that would be the case at any care facility. You need to be active in monitoring your loved one. Be sure to understand what's going on with medications. They have an in-house nurse practitioner, who they contacted for additional medications without contacting me. The nurse practitioner called me about, but Autumn Leaves didn't. I think the day to day staff that helps my mom has been great. But I'm not so sure about management.

Overall we were very happy with the community, and we do think the care our loved one received was great. At times there could of been more staffing but that was no fault of the community we understand every place is struggling with staffing. Our loved one was difficult at times and they still provided great care. Some reason why we picked this community was location, the size, and they had a physician's assistant as apart of the group and we found that to be very meaningful. Our loved one did not really participate in the activities but we could see all the effort the staff had put in to keep activities going.

The staff and general atmosphere was very friendly when I walked in. All the residents seemed to be very comfortable. There didn’t seem to be quite as many activities as the place we chose.
